Appearance
Physical Appearance:
Hokori is a short boy with tanned skin, platinum blond hair and vivid crimson eyes. His body is thin and wirey, barely any muscle on him at all. He is often seen with a care-free smile on his lips and a vivid liveliness glinting in his eyes.
Civilian Clothes:
Hokori wears baggy clothes, usually a beige hoody and jeans, complete with large boots. He isn't very clean, always covered with dust which seems to fall from him as he walks.
Hero Outfit:
A grey jacket with short sleeves, running down below a utility belt that holds general hero equipment (first aid, torch, GPS tracker) and over a long-sleeve black top. grey wrist-warmers cover most of his hands as well. Around his neck, Hokori wears a black waist-length scarf, and baggy black trousers fall from his waistline to a pair of combat boots. He wears thick grey-tinted goggles as well, to prevent his quirk getting in his eyes.

Personality
Bad Habits:
Hokori sings to himself when he's daydreaming or his mind is wandering off. He also taps to a rhythm, fingers working up a drum beat when he isn't really paying attention to anyone. Hokori doesn't have a great attention span, more likely to be listening to music (either in headphones or in his head) rather than listening to anyone else. He has a bad habit of using a wide range of slang from all sorts of eras and cultures.
Goal:
Hokori wants to be seen as a cool guy. He has no real dream of being a great or renowned pro-hero, as long as people see how awesome he is when he saves the day.
General Personality:
Hokori is a chill, laid-back individual. He makes friends easily, can gel and vibe with nearly everyone who comes his way. Hokori loves music and hanging out. His pro-hero desire is just to be loved by people, to be viewed as someone cool and great by his peers and by the people of the world. Hokori usually takes a step back in conflict, staying to the sidelines of conflict and giving his support using his quirk instead. He is a bit scared of actual combat, retreating instead of engaging. Hokori loves music, and is often listening to headphones when he's not concentrating on stuff, which is often!
Personal Life
Mother:
Muda Sabaku, alive. Nurse. Quirk: Dust
Father:
Suna Mubarak, deceased. Villain. Quirk: Sand
Siblings:
Ishaq Mubarak, brother, presumed deceased. Villain. Quirk: Sand
History:
Muda Sabaku arrived in Japan a few days before she gave birth to Hokori, escaping an abusive and violent family back in France. She began a new life with her child, promising to never tell him about their past until he was old enough to understand. So Hokori grew up quite sheltered, his quirk manifesting when he was four, going to a normal school but never knowing about his father or siblings. Sabaku taught him how to use his quirk, using it in non-violent ways and utilizing it to help people, rather than hurt people. When he turned ten, Sabaku told him about his father. A violent and abusive Egyptian villain who ran in France, who worked with his son to steal and cause chaos and destruction. Sabaku ran away after an explosion of sand tore apart the house they were in, caused by the then unborn Hokori's brother. Presumably they all died in the tragic event, and Sabaku escaped to Japan from there.
Hokori decided he would be a hero, someone cool to look up to. He studied hard, getting in his musical lessons as well on the side. Hokori was a talented guitarist, focusing on the bass guitar as a favourite instrument. Yet, even with his frequent distractions to his music, Hokori was accepted into U.A., where he managed to get into class 1-B. Hokori made friends quickly, his laid-back personality easy to gel with. He made particular friends with a boy in 1-A, Jack, and the two were firm friends. In their second year, both Hokori and Jack found more than friendship, and with the help of their classmates became an item.

Now Hokori is entering his third year, and looks to find out what it means to be a hero. He wants to be someone cool, who others can look up to!
Quirk
Name:
Combat Dust
Quirk Type:
Emitter
Power:
Hokori can control dust! He can't generate it, but he can focus it with his mind, creating concentrated areas of dust around his body. The dust can cut skin, opening a multitude of small but painful wounds on skin, and it can obviously blind if it goes in someone's eyes.
Supermoves:
Dust Wave
A great wave of dust that is sent at an opponent.
Dust Shield
Concentrated dust that creates a shield against physical attacks, focused by Hokori wherever he wants to place it.
Dust Screen
A cloud of dust that whips up around Hokori and any allies, shrouding them from view and allowing them a quick escape if needs be.
Drawbacks:
Hokori isn't immune to the dust itself, and can get it in his eyes if he's not careful. It requires dust to be present in order for him to control it, so clean areas are a nightmare for him.
Fighting Style:
Hokori isn't a physical fighter, relying more on his quirk to back up his allies by blinding opponents or shrouding his friends' movements. He can't really hold up in a one-on-one fight if the opponent goes in close combat, and will simply resort on trying to escape using his quirk.
