Physical Description: After years of studying the physical forms of Humans and their attire, she has taken on a Human shape that she can call her own creation as a mastery of shaping herself. Her Human form of choice is normally 5'2" in height with smooth flawless porcelain skin. She has dark blonde hair in a bob that she finds cute and has the most innocent looking baby blue eyes that fit her cherubic face perfectly. Her body is toned like an swimmer or track and field athlete, but she can also remove this definition or increase the apparent size of her "muscles". When it comes to her chest, thighs and buttocks, she usually keeps her chest at an E-cup, her thighs on par with that of her swimmer's physique and has a padded butt like those girls that always use that phone app thing.
Her Yokai form is a bit more elongated, opting to make herself a bit taller and thicker in all the right places. Her most basic form is more of a monolithic blob or nearly featureless feminine silhouette.
Clothing/Misc. Items: While she could technically ignore the need for clothing, she still wears the school uniform that fits her normal measurements. She also possesses several articles of swimwear to avoid giving people the wrong idea or prevent mishaps.

She isn't afraid to show off her curves but is apprehensive about modesty, wearing actual clothes instead of simply imitating them despite it being perfectly natural for a Slime to be without them. She is generally coolheaded and polite, open to intelligent discussion and topics but is easily provoked about her appearance or beliefs. Iris doesn't like or dislike Humans, generally being wary of them until she understands an individual one.
Likes: Turning heads when she walks through an area. Relaxing in warm bath water. Giving and getting massages.
Dislikes: Being cold. Treated like a simpleton because she is a Slime. Being asked to change her appearance.

History: Her earliest memory is being nearly torn apart in a Hurricane, being washed inland and battered against objects. She was still very young at the time and too afraid to leave the safety of water and didn't want to venture into the well traveled water ways. She had to wait for water levels to rise again in order leapfrog back to the ocean, sometimes going dormant for long periods of time when waiting. By the time she reached the ocean again, much time had passed since the hurricane. For the next while she searched the coast day and night when it was safe. She caught the eye of a local fisherman after swimming through a patch of luminous algae. He beckoned her over to his jetty and asked if she was lost. At the time she was a toddler barely capable of speech, but could hold some conversation with the man, she would learn that he was in fact a Sharkman named Mateo Diaz.
He offered her safe place in his home, as he had spare room from losing his son in the same Hurricane. In time, she would learn to spend time on dry land and take more solid shapes. By watching TV and reading magazines she managed to form an age appropriate Human appearance. Mateo helped her with some social issues she struggled with, even taking her out fishing and on errands in the town. At some point she needed a name, he told her the name Iris suited her, later formally adopting her as his daughter under the name Iris Diaz. She had a learning disability that made itself apparent when Mateo had her attend school. Though it wasn't uncommon for Slimes to not be all that bright as he learned from a friend, he told that she was perfect the way she was. It bothered Iris when she felt stupid for not getting things right, social actions were one thing but she kept getting tripped up when trying to learn with the Human kids. Iris barely managed to get to the next grade by a slim margin, an easy source of bullying and grief from the other children.
It wasn't until Mateo read Iris some of the Yokai authored books on Slimes that she felt somewhat defeated by her own genetics. But one night she stayed up late and was watching a movie marathon when she was inspired to try something when next she was cornered. She wormed her finger up their nose and picked their brain for some loose graymatter. They didn't recall the event afterwards and had a bit of a slowdown while her own mind felt faster and able to process the information. Iris continued to pick the noses of the other kids who thought it was okay to pick on her or others as she progressed through the grades. As her intelligence increased, her confidence and demeanor improved. It wasn't until she switched schools for the 6th grade that things changed yet again. It wasn't just about how you acted or how smart you were, those that were attractive became popular. Iris was fairly pretty so she mixed into the more popular circles without any effort. One of her teachers, a younger man took liking to her and some of the other girls.
At first he was just being nice fo them, sometimes giving them treats or running into them outside of school in town. Iris felt something off and was right to be suspicious when he started to get too familiar with some of the girls. She put herself in the line of fire, trying to be the favorite and confirmed her fears when he tried to play a special game in his office with her. Angered by the Human filth before her she aggressively assaulted his nose and took more than she ever did before, not stopping until she felt something wrong. A seizure sent him flopping onto the floor like a fish on her Father's boat, Iris got another adult to get medical care for him. Unlike her other victims, he would never fully recover and end up in a long term.care facility. Iris's mind on the other hand had been supercharged.
The rest of her attendance at Junior High was brain probe free as she started to pull her grades to the honors level. She spent the rest of her days there pretending to be a Human, having to constantly tweak her body to keep up with the growth spurts other girls were going through. Though she probably overdid it when she came back from her final summer break with her current chest size, making her acquaintances have their eyes nearly bulge out of their heads. In her last year she experienced new things, dating a boy for a while until she crossed paths with girl who was tough as nails named Edith. Edith made it clear she was openly attracted to Iris, embarrassing her in front of her friends before walking off. Iris then ran into her again on the roof where Edith revealed she was a Dark Elf and repeated her attraction to Iris who she easily identified as a fellow Yokai. They developed a complex relationship, Iris always unsure if they were a couple, dating on and off or just friends with benefits. Sometimes Edith would encourage her to sneak out at night to make mischief or to try and score alcohol. It would come to a stop when they were caught by an undercover cop, Mateo managed to get them out of it and scolded them both. Edith flipped him off and wanted Iris to run away with her, but it just didn't fit with who Iris was or what she wanted. Mateo saw this as a sign that she needed to be with more well mannered Yokai and managed to enroll her at Yokai Academy.

Shapeshifting: As a living liquid able to take more solid shapes, she is not only able to take Human form but inanimate objects with enough study. In her liquid state she can fit anywhere water can into.
Parasitism: Inspired by the idea from mosquitos and horror movies, Iris injectd part of herself into a foreign being to extract nutrients or certain cells (like brain matter) and integrate them into her own body.
Replication: Her cells are all identical, so she can easily duplicate to replace lost neighbors if willed to do so with some of her energy. She can also transplant her cells onto others as a tissue graft as a method of healing.
Slime Crystallization: While most Slimes wouldn't bother trying to get harder than flesh, bone or wood as they can't harmed conventionally by physical means. Iris through study and her increased intelligence has learned to harden her cells to the point of turning into crystals not just as a physical defense and to increase her resistance Yoki techniques but to also allow her to hit harder or even stab her would be enemies.
Fiber Mimicry: Through study, Iris even while in her more natural state as learned how to replicate muscle fibers, allowing her to not only able to perform greater feats of strength and speed normally associated with a slime, but through effort can further increase her ability as most Slimes are content with being the same.
High Pressure Bullet: A mixture of physical technique and yoki, Iris crystalizes her saliva into a pellet and infuses it with her energy. She then fires it by using a mixture of air and spark of energy.
Weapons/Items: Iris never goes anywhere without a metal canteen of water capable of holding a gallon of liquid water to stay hydrated throughout the day.
