This guy, Miyuki, was a bundle of something Hihoshi was unsure of. But he meant well as far as Hihoshi was concerned. As for meeting with other students, Hihoshi was very earnest.
"You all are the first to ever really approach me like this. Everyone else steers clear of me or just doesn't have the nerve to pluck up their courage and say even a single word. Of course, I haven't been here long enough to give folk a chance but then ya'll came around and made my day!" with hands thrust squarely on her hips and a broad smile decorating her visage, Hihoshi looked positively overjoyed that Miyuki and Kitana were here to talk to her.
Her gaze went to Kitana. "It's only the start of the year and already you're in the good graces of one of the highest scoring students in U.A.'s first years? I'd say this year looks awfully bright for you! I hear tell she's as prickly as a cactus but for you, she's as soft as a newborn bunny. You got to share your secrets with us and introduce us BOTH!"
She chuckled then looked to Miyuki with wide eyes. "You know Flashfire? Gee, it must be grand to know a Pro Hero like that personally! Good on ya! My brother works directly under Moonbeam so I only know a Pro Hero personally by association! AH, I'm so proud of him!" she declared with no short amount of pride glistening in her eyes. "One day, that'll be me. But wow...you both have it set for this first year!"

Miyuki felt... warm? Fuzzy? This was a very different feeling from when he hung out with the Dragon Heights. They were like family, but also kind of an office environment? It was difficult for Miyuki to put into words. They were much older than him, and often talking with him on fumes, distracted by their job that they were in the middle of doing. Talking with peers was just so different from that. It wasn't just different, though. Hihoshi-san and Kitana-san, they were both so... welcoming. Miyuki wasn't sure what he was expecting. Han-kun had been like this too. None of them cared what he looked like. If anything, they were like him. It was so... natural. That was it. Natural.
Miyuki couldn't help but smile his big, jagged smile. It was nice to feel wanted. Weird, right?
He rubbed his arm sheepishly. "Aw, geez, I don't think it's anything like that. I, I'm not special or anythin' like that. I gotta earn my keep too, y'know? But, it is nice."
Did Kitana say... a big whale girl? Miyuki looked up at Hihoshi, towering over both of them. Just how many big women were in his class?! He tried not to let his envy show - poorly. She was almost twice his size... but, she was so friendly, and so cool. That was confidence he could get behind. "W-Wow." He just, couldn't admit that to her. Not yet. The way he was smiling and staring, though, probably said enough.
"Wait. One, two, three..." Miyuki started counting on his claws, whispering the numbers to himself as he thought of each of the students in their class that they had talked about so far. Then, he stopped, with a surprised look on his face. "Hey, waitaminnit! Are all of us, uhh... different, looking? Like, uhh..." Miyuki struggled to come up with the right word. There was one on his mind, but that wasn't it at all. He didn't want to make it sound like he was describing them with an insult... or himself.

Kitana looked to Hihoshi as she said people didn't usually approach her "well that's just silly, sure you seem a bit quiet at first glance but I can't see why people would avoid you, but I'm a bit of a social butterfly so I guess my perspective is a bit skewed there." she said, seemingly oblivious to the girl's size or why that would scare people off
With Miyuki's observation Kitana tilted her head a bit as she tried to figure out what he meant, but then it clicked "Oh, a menagerie? I'm sure some of the mutant haters out there will say something like that yeah. Lots of mutant types in our year it seems. But I say we're the best damn zoo this side of the Pacific then." she said cheerfully, pushing down the general discomfort mutant bigotry as a topic caused her. She'd only been in the wider world outside her home and all the religious worshipers for a little while... and she'd already met some people calling her names for being "not human." She had wanted to get off the pedestal she'd been placed on but not like THAT. She had simply resolved to be even more cheerful in the face of it though.

The donkey girl guffawed as Kitana brought up the fact about a zoo. She went into a fit, slapping her knee and holding her sides. "Oh, wow! She's right! We're a regular day down at the zoo! That's funny! My bro's even a centaur-dog type of mutant as well! Haw haw! This type of thing'd go right over his head!"

Furbolten would sneeze and rub his nose with a sigh. Mothcoat would chuckle at him."Somebody's talking about me..." Furbolten remarked with a displeased grunt.
"Idiots never catch colds..." Mothcoat murmured.
"You say something?" Furbolten pointedly asked with a glowering gaze.
"Not a thing."
"Clearly you did. You're smiling."
"Then why'd ya ask, Furbutt?"
"Eurgh!"
"Eurgh? That didn't sound very classy."
"Just...agh you are impossible!"
"No, I'm just a very bearable guy who can push your buttons, Mister Overworked, and lighten your mood. Seriously. You need to chill."
Furbolten sighed then finally smiled. "You're just like her. I guess...that's why i put up with you." --------------
Hihoshi sneezed then wiped a few tears from her eyes and used a tissue to clean up some more from laughing a bit too much. More than what was called for. "Ah but we're cut from the same cloth, him and I! Children of the earth! Hard-working and sturdy people we be! Nobody ever thinks our forms are weird!" she sighs as she plucks out a rice stem from her pocket and places it in her mouth. "We both work hard too much for anyone to give a flying fart what we look like." She looks peacefully to Miyuki and Kitana.
She holds up two fingers. "Name two folk that mean the most to ya. The both of ya. They don't have to be kin but extra credit if they ain't! My brother's co-worker uhhhhhhh Las Vegas gave me this exercise once! Says if you envision the first two people that pop into your head, them right there is your reason for being a hero! No two shakes about it!" She sat up and grined at the two. "Tell me all about them! I wanna know what drives the both of ya! Mine's my brother who is an amazing hero! Furbolten! He's one of the best! Zips around like no one's business! The second...hehe....is Chow Down! I love his energy! I admire energy I wish I had but...I do try to evoke one of the things he preaches!" She then recites his credo with a gruff voice and a great big smile. "Do it with a big healthy serving!" She swings her arm in front of her as if flexing then sits back down cross-legged and look expectantly to Miyuki and Kitana.
