Klaus nodded, lightly. Perhaps he was not being direct enough... or perhaps he had been too direct. This generation of students was quite different from those he had taught in the previous year. He would need to temper himself accordingly. He paused, allowing space to fill the air before he responded. When he did, his voice was a little softer, a little humbler, though no less firm in its instruction.
"Everyone is different, ja. Different goals, challenges. How one approaches these things is important. More than anything, Kachiya, if there is one thing I would like you to take away from this lesson, it is not to doubt yourself, or your potential. You do have potential, Kachiya, and I think you know that. This thing about boys and girls may not seem important now, but breaking down these barriers is, in a way, part of being a Hero. People like you and I strive to make our world better than how we left it. It does not matter if that is how it may have been in previous generations. If you see injustice, it is your duty to confront it. Do you understand what I am saying, Kachiya?"

Kachiya had a tendency to overtime things and that wouldn't be more apparent than it is now. She furrowed her brows in thought, the advice was simple enough. She understood what he was saying well enough but she was looking for a deeper message, she was always looking for a deeper message. In any case, she nodded in when asked if she understood what it was he was trying to say
"I... I need to learn to be more assertive... right? Heros do... more then just fight crime and keeping society safe they.... make it better?"
Kachiya went back to being silent. She liked rules and regulations. Things put in place that people had to follow. It made things easier and somethings were just... how it was and older generations were supposed to be listened to, it was how society grew right?
"How do I know what parts of society should change? People need to listen to their elders so they don't make mistakes they did, right? I always thought heros follow and enforce the rules. The rules are what make society function. It's how people know what is right and what is wrong."

Klaus stared at Kachiya, placid. He seemed to furrow his own "brow". Then, he chirped. His eyes squinted, though in amusement, rather than scrutiny. "I fear that such questions go beyond the scope of this meeting, Kachiya. I will do my best to impress these things upon you over the course of the year I have you, but know that often times, you will not know for certain. Honing a heroic instinct is a key skill you will need to develop to make those kinds of judgments. As for being more assertive... I think every young girl could stand to be more assertive today. All I am saying is to be mindful of how you define certain things. There is no doing push-ups "like a boy". There is only doing push-ups with proper form. Even small changes like this can have a significant impact on your mindset."
He raised a few of his arms to elucidate upon his points as he expressed them, rotating between different arms to keep his movements dynamic. "To return to the matter at hand: form is perhaps the most important aspect of exercises. You must perform as many as you can as they are meant to be performed. The volume and repetitions of the exercise is secondary to the exercise itself. I understand that you may feel pressured to do as much as you can, but your efforts are only as strong as the will behind them. If you try to cut corners, your results will cut corners too.
"This affects more than your physical fitness. What is your Quirk, Kachiya?"

Kachiya had watched Gigabite attentively, paying attention to every word he was saying to her. He took it all in, blushing slightly at the thought of getting slightly off track. There were still so many questions regarding Justice but the answer would suffice for now. She looked forward to how she was to hone and sharpen that hero instinct in the future. It seemed like the question wouldn't stop but his points were clear, and easy to understand. She's been working on her mindset. How she thinks and being more positive overall but it was a bit surprising that such a small chance could make such a significant difference. She wondered what other small changes she could make for the better
"basically... watch what I say, make sure i dont put people in certain boxes?"
She thought she was understanding what he was trying to say as he was enunciating his points with his arms.
Then, he went back to the topic at hand why she was here to begin with. She listened as he talked about exercise, and how doing it properly is the best way to go about things. She understood this though. Things had to be done the way they are supposed to be done. She was surprised it applied to things like this too. She couldn't help but give gigabite a quizzical look as he explained about form and how cutting corners affect more than just physical training, but also her quirk
"I call it sounding mirror. I can manipulate sound waves by having them bounce off a mirror. Similar to how mirrors can reflect and focus light waves, I can do that but with sound waves"

Klaus nodded, pensively taking in the information. Then, as Kachiya continued to talk, Klaus began to walk around the arena, using his arms to spring himself forward, not unlike a gorilla. As he passed by the numerous objects that were draped in fabric, one of his large arms reached out to tear the fabric off, then bundling it into a small ball. He continued doing this, even after Kachiya had finished her explanation. Once the shrouds were removed, each object was revealed to be an industrial mirror, each one angled in a different way. Once all of the mirros on the floor were revealed, Klaus began to make mighty leaps around the room, particularly along the walls to reveal mirrors that were positioned there. Every time Klaus landed, his impact against the ground was loud, certainly, but far less than the landing that his massive figure ought to make. Finally, Klaus launched himself like a spring, high enough that he could reveal the mirrors that had been installed on the ceiling.
Ater the last jump, Klaus landed in front of Kachiya. He crouched low, then slowly rose to his formal height. Klaus clicked his lesser mandibles. His eyes widened, if only slightly. "Show me."

Kachiya looked about curiously as Gigabite started to move around, removing the curtains from the position that they were in. She hadn't thought about the pillars of curtains that were scattered about the room, having been focused on her meeting with GB the entire time.
She eventually seen that behind these curtains were mirrors and she watched as he revealed them one by one, nerves suddenly overcoming her. She had a feeling where this was going, she needed this though. More direct advice on how to best use her quirk. Slowly she stood up and closed her eyes, even before she was asked to show him what she can do. It would be a while before she would do anything. She was already given sound to use, with how loud his landings were. They reverberated throughout the room however, like an echo before she even actively did anything. An echo that kept repeating itself indefinitely until Kachiya had taken a deep breath and took the sound from Klaus landing and focusing it. She kept her eyes closed though, keeping what Akemi said in mind and focused on moving the sound towards one of the mirrors. She still moved her head though, indicating the direction she was moving the sounds towards and it had bounced off a mirror, growing louder with each mirror it had hit, her head following the sound as it changed direction before she opened her eyes, if only to make sure it didn't land near either of them before directing the sounds to the ground adjacent to the two of them.
The ground would rumble just slightly and there would be a slight dent on the ground where the wave would have hit.
She looked to Gigabite, biting her lip slightly, barely seeming like she had exerted much energy at all
"That good?"
She asked, unsure how much he had wanted to see of her quirk

While Kachiya channeled her Quirk, Klaus was like a statue. He hardly moved at all. If anything, his antennae seemed to move more than most of his body did, twitching in anticipation and then in response to the display of Kachiya’s abilities. It was not the first time he had witnessed it. Klaus had already familiarized himself with the Quirks of his students, what each of them were capable of. It was intriguing that out of all of them, Kachiya had decided to come.
The Beetle Hero remained impassive through these moments, long after Kachiya had finished her demonstration. His eyes slowly lower to meet Kachiya’s attentive gaze. ”When you use your Quirk, Kachiya, how do you feel? What goes through your body, your mind?”

Kachiya burrowed her brows as she thought of Gigabytes question. It was terrifying, even just thinking of how her quirk made her feel, even now but she was determined more than she ever was before.
Color=#6495ED]"h-honestly? It's...it's scary just thinking about it
She admitted, feeling sheepish about having admitted that
"I don't want to hurt people, and with my quirk I know it can get dangerous fast. If I'm not careful, the sonic vibrations get out of control quickly and I feel like I can potentially do that each time I use my quirk
She noted, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear wondering how Gigabyte would receive her answer. Would he think less of her? She fidgeted in anticipation. She thought about answering less truthfully but... If she did, would he figure it out? Would it help her less? Honesty was the best policy... Right? Was it true in all scenarios?
She looked up to Gigabyte, or continued to try to. Maybe overtime, he would seem less intimidating

Klaus' nod in response was gentle, understanding. "It took me months to use my Quirk without causing reckless collateral damage. Sometimes, I still make mistakes. Even the most careful Hero will slip up eventually. These concerns are completely natural. They are, however, an obstacle that you will need to overcome. I will do everything in my power to help you succeed, but the outcome begins and ends with you. These feelings can only be overcome if you confront them."
He lowers one of his arms. It is large enough to cradle Kachiya's head. His eyes remained placid, beetle-man that he was, though he clacked his lesser mandibles twice.
"Your heart is in the right place, Kachiya. Keep going."

Kachiyas eyes widened in realization as gigabyte spoke. She wasn't alone in the issues of her quirk and knowing that even seasoned heros make mistakes too gave her a whole new way of understanding.
"I didn't think of it that way.
She stated, as she entered a state of contemplation. She was still scared but something else was taking place, a sense of determination started to fill her up. She wanted to do gigabyte proud too, prove to him that she could overcome her fears.
She would nod in understanding and take a big breath, readying herself for the next big step she knew she would have to take
"Ok. I understand now, I'm ready to move forward"
She noted, a new sense of determination set behind her eyes

Klaus withdrew his arm. Kachiya was much further ahead than he suspected. She was grasping things that he normally did not bring up with his students at least a month from now. Neither of them could afford to get complacent... but this was a very good start. He had a good feeling about her.
"That is good, Kachiya. That will do for now." He clicked his lesser mandibles together, ruefully. "We have not even had class yet. Be sure to make time for your social life too, Kachiya. School isn't all studies and heroics."
He paused to look around at the sophisticated equipment that had just been tested. He had had to do all of this by hand... that was not entirely true, but Klaus had insisted. "Sometimes, it is about cleaning up." The Beetle Hero chirped to himself. He would begin to dismantle each of the mirrors, carefully tucking each of them under his arms as he went about colleting all of them, strewn about the training room as they were.
