OOC: Hello and Welcome, we're starting our assessments for class 3b here. While this is mostly physical tests, it gives a good ball park of what your character can do, and might even give you some insight on what to work on. If you'd like do a personal assessment with a specific teacher please state so in your first post OOC! Currently the teachers willing to aid are pinned in discord chat. It's as simple as saying in OOC: "I'd like ____ to do have tutoring or a personal assessment with ____." After this thread you can align with who you'd like to help you and go on from there to make a thread after this. Also feel free to mingle a bit before I begin the exercise prompts. Here's the list of exercises so you guys have time to think of your character's actions. These will be ranked for individual exercise and then ranked overall for the class. (Just to help foster those rivalries and give some good ol braggin rights! ) General Assessments: Canon:Agility=50 Meter Dash +High Jump + Long Jump Strength=Sit Ups + Push Ups + Grip Test Coordination= Ball Throw + Side steps Non-Canon:Cement Block Bust 50 meter Swim ___________________________________________IC: With a laptop in hand, Robert waited for the 3rd years to start rolling in. Terebii asked for results, so he'd deliver with proper data entry of each student and how they faired. Kagayaku already said he'd be more than happy to assist, and then came a few others who'd volunteer as well. The majority of the test would take place in the training fields, but there were a special ones the man would go ahead and add to make things interesting. Once the students entered with their teacher, he'd waste no time introducing himself. "Good Morning,
My name is Dr. Brine, the new school "nurse." I'd like to welcome you seniors to the yearly Apprehension Test, where we see where you stand as heroes. With this being your last year, it's all the more important that you look at where you might be lacking and find ways to improve. If you have strong suits and advantages, look for ways to sharpen those already existing skills. You guys are the next generation of heroes once you gradaute... SO, if you'd be as kind as to show off the fruits of your labor in this year's assessments. Any questions?" He was brief and professional, with a hint of not wanting to be there. He was here solely to impress Terebii, not because he genuinely wanted to. It was also quite clear, he wasn't exactly used to talking to kids. It was his first school job, to be brutally honest. Beside him, were a line of radar bots. They'd line up accordingly based on the activity, and aid in calculating data Legal Name: Robert Brine Alias: Dr. Brine Quirk Name: Seafoam Picture:Notable Achievements:Not much is known of him. He's one of those heroes that blew up overnight. A s mall time hero from Kagoshima JapanNew hire at UA as school nurse

"Yeah, yeah, let's go! I'm ready to slay, yo!"
Hokori beamed in excitement as he stretched his arms high above him. With his quirk, most of these would be easy! He eyed up the rest of the class, grinning. He was all about proving himself these days, but also wanted everyone else around to do the best they could.
"Let's do this, 3-B! How about we show 3-A that we're better in every way, for real!"

"Tch. Really Hokori, I thought you'd eventually run out of energy or something, but damn me you're near endless."
Lauren Spence stepped onto the training field next, filing her claws down a little before she'd just put her nail-file back into a backpack she'd unceremoniously toss aside, one arm going slack and the other resting on her hip as she'd just eye her classmate with a bit of a grin. In truth, she was happy for him, really. He had gone from being a real downer back when they were in 1-B, and now thanks to Jack in the other class, he had become the literal face and personality of 3-B. Who knew all he needed was a bit of love?
"But hey, don't go and pop a vessel from overexcitement, y'hear? If we're gonna show those A-classers that we're not some small fry, we need to be at their game. Get it, 'cause it means we gotta be at our A game?"

"Did someone give him a sugary drink or something like that?"
Ouju was the next out, just behind Lauren, glancing around at everyone on this dreaded day. She was smiling on the outside but on the inside she was screaming in dread. It might have only be a once a year thing, this was the last time she had too do it. Still she always felt she was under performing, the nature of her quirk always made her feel inadequate when comparing her numbers to everyone else. Its not that her numbers were bad, hell for a doing it all effectively quirkless she had still performed well. Like had these quirks not been a factor she'd probably site high on the charts in all the sections, she was an athletic person after all.
Anyway as she stood around with the others. She was betting on making a difference this year, not just shaving off a few milliseconds. Her 'secret weapon' was ready to go.
"I going to give it my all and more this time!. We're already better than 1-A already".

Faliwah entered soon after the rest of the class. She was ready for these tests, always was and like Lauren, she appreciated the males energy. As she entered, she would greet the nurse with a bow and a formal hello before getting together with her fellow classmates, each one getting a small bow. She was as formal and expressionless as ever but there was a fire in her eye. She was ready to go and everyone would know it. She didnt need to look at what was being tested, knowing them, and having prepared for them.
"The aim would be, I think, to break records. We arent dropping down to 3As level, were gonna force them to step up and meet us."
She stated, in response to Lauren. She would limber up meanwhile. She was well suited to many of these tests but it didnt mean she could go into it unprepared

OOC: This round of posts will consist of the three coordination activities. Use your quirks as you see fit to excel in these activities. Or if your quirk isn't suited for the task at hand, just make a realistic description based on how you think your character's athleticism is. The posts should be schemed rather simply to depict what your character does. This round can have up 2 posts from each person. One dedicated activity post, and if you'd like to post your character's reaction to their classmates, you can. Once the coordination section is done, we can move on to the other stuff.
Score yourselves as you see fit. Use 1a's thread as an example if you'd like. If you still can't figure a score out just let me know and I'll give you one. ___________________IC:
Quite a small group. The staff member would go ahead and line the radar robos up with each exercise station. A small class meant they could get a lot done in a short amount of time. Clapping his hands to garner some attention, he- "Okay, okay. We're gonna start with the Ball toss. After that comes the timed consecutive side steps. We'll give you a minute and a half to get in as many sidesteps as you can. " He said, first tapping his pen on the top sheet of paper. Coordination.
One by one he'd line students up to each agility exercise and click a remote for the radar robo's ready. His eyes would scan along each other their faces. To each one he'd say ready and go once the time came.

Hokori laughed as the other class members chided him, not letting up an inch.
"Ah, sis, ya gotta have that Plus Ultra spirit in whatever ya do! We'll be Heroes soon... and that means comin' at every faucet of life with a laugh and a grin! An' as Faliwah says, let's force 3-A to step up! Yeah, it's the final stretch, fooooor reaaaal!"
Hokori shouted the last in wild ululation, jogging over to the starting line for the first test. He gripped the ball in both hands, tongue sticking out as he eyed a spot a fair distance away. This wasn't a test of his muscles or strength. This was all about his quirk!
He wound up his arm in a classic throw, but as he did dust shot up from the ground around him, surrounding the ball in an outer shell. Hokori tossed it, but the ball sped off lightning quick, far faster than it should. He put a hand on his hip, the other pointing ahead.
"Yeah! Let's go, dust wave! That ball ain't touchin' dirt until I want it to!"
Indeed, the dust kept propelling the ball forward, and even as it went to touch the ground a wave of dust would rise up to keep it airbound. Hokori could hold it for as long as he liked within range, and as it reached the outer limits of his control he brought up a great spiraling pillar of dust to propel it upwards and forwards.
"Three hundred and fourty metres!"
Hokori brushed dust of his shoulder with a wink towards the others.
"Alright! Kings and Queens of 3-B, the bar is set! We're gonna get real groovy today, awww yeah!"
For the sidestep, he simply created a platform of dust beneath him that he could stand on, and used his quirk to rapidly move it left and right as fast as he could. Hokori was a dusty blur before the whistle blew, leaping off and falling in a dizzy lump to the floor.
"Far ooooooout!" came the muffled voice as the robot checked the readings.
"Four hundred and nine!"

Faliwah watched as Hokori took his test. There were improvement, that was the point in all of this and a small part of her was nervous but... Of course, a good hero never shows it. Everyone had a little bit of stage fright even if they didn't admit it, it was all about how they dealt with it. With what was as stake, who wouldnt be nervous? They set the standard here and now for themselves as heros and everyone who would come after them.
Stepping up to the plate, ball in hand, she would give a good throw. It was a more average distance but as it was still going up, she would transform just her hand and give it a large boost with a powerful gust of wind and the ball would shoot like a rocket at an angle.
From there, she would transform her two hands creating a draft below and behind by waving her left arm up and down, and the right arm below it side to side. The result was powerful gusts of wind that could be felt by everyone around her, everyone would need to stand their ground as she was making her show.
The ball was soon way out of sight, and the ball would travel several meters out of Faliwahs range, due to the pure momentum that she had created.
"One thousand five hundred and six point two five meters!"
The robot would call out. Amazing, that was a solid improvement from last year for sure and now... Was the side steps. She struggled with it her first year but, from then on she created a method to help her get more steps in. Last year, she almost tripped but... This year, it was going to be different.
Using her large arm fans again, she would give it a powerful swing which would propel her forward. Her first reaction would be to run forward to keep up with the momentum, that's where she messed up last year. This time, she would be barely touching the ground as she did her side steps.
"TWO HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-NINE STEPS"
Definitely better than last year. She barely hit two hundred last year, so she definitely improved which was always the goal even if she wasn't as good as some of her classmates.
Satisfied, she returned back to the group as the next person would take their turn

Well, this was going to suck a bit for Lauren. Coordination first? Really? But, she wasn't going to complain. She'd just let out a soft 'Tch' before she'd step up after Faliwah, moving up to kick a ball up in the air and catch it. Tossing it up and down, she thought of how she could lob it as far as possible, before she seemed to have an idea. Keeping the ball in her right, dominant hand, she'd quickly swipe a claw across her wrist as blood started pouring out, writhing like a crimson worm under her command, as it'd shoot up and wrap around the ball, lifting it as she'd then begin to spin it around with her right hand, like a stone in a sling. She'd keep spinning it, and the more she spun, the more her 'blood-sling' seemed to stretch out, becoming more elastic.
And then, she'd whip her hand forward in a thrust motion, and like a bungee cord, her blood-sling would snap forward and give the ball even more momentum, her tendril unlatching from the ball as it got sent flying, whizzing quite far across the field.
"Three hundred and seventy-six meters!"
At least Lauren seemed to be happy with that result, and she was indeed. That was at least a hundred meters more than what she managed last year. Now the side-steps... that'd be more tricky. But she utilized her quirk in the same way she did with the ball toss. Cutting a streak through her left wrist too, another stream of blood formed as she'd whip both of them to the ground on either side, latching them into the ground as they formed anchors, the streams remaining elastic as, when the whistle blew to begin, Lauren would utilize the two 'bungee cords' to literally bounce herself back and forth with her side-stepping; moving to one side, yanking herself towards the other, rinse and repeat all the way through the time period, until the whistle rang to stop, and she'd huff and shake her head clear whilst her blood retreated back into her wrists and sealed up the wounds.
"Three hundred and fifty-two!"
Damn it, still between Faliwah and Hokori, but at least it was all she could do for now. She'd move to the group, though had to sit down a bit to regain her senses, feeling a bit dizzy.

Tommy popped in a bit later than the rest. The reason? Well.... he had gotten his hand on a strawberry cheesecake and had lost track of time savoring the sweet. In fact, he still had a smug of pink and white on the corner of his mouth. "Sorry for the wait Dr.Brine!" He stated, waving a hand towards the school nurse.... or rather his detached hand. Tommy was waving his left arm with his right from the forearm like he was waving a stick around. He wore a modified version of the usual UA exercise jump suit, with his being more of a shirt and shorts. Tommy rarely showed his body before this year, often times just playing around during physical training exercises; or not showing off. This year though it seemed like his training had finally shown everything he had achieved. While others had quirks that were not related directly to their physical shape; Tommy's was, with him being a mutant. Muscles that were use to strenuous exercise were clearly visible; not akin to a bodybuilder, but more like that of a well built fighter. Further more, his joints; the knees, elbows, and even wrist seemed even more muscular, almost slightly bulging compared to the other muscles on his bicep and forearm.
Many of class 3B would know of Tommy Neil as the class clown; often times playing pranks by detaching his hands to do various things. From "hauntings" by having a hand knock things over and cause strange sounds with everyday objects; to making stupid jokes and puns like "Lemme give you a hand" and then detaching his own hand for others. Outside of that though.... this was Tommy's first assessment that he had decided to no have privately. Honestly, despite how much of a trickster he was, this time he seemed less comedic and more... intense... no, confident. Like he had some sort of trick under his sleeves. "So.... Let's get started..." He said, stepping up as he looked at the leaderboard. "Oh, Faliwah, Hokori, and Lauren. As expected honestly. Whew! Over a Thousand Meters too! I'mma have to actually pull the stops huh?" He said, walking over and grabbing a ball with his detached arm. Tossing it almost like a lacrosse ball in a lacrosse stick, Tommy smiled to himself. "Last year I focused on my strength; so let's see if I made any progress this year!" He said, confidence and pure excitement matching his pink hair exuding from him. In fact.... it was odd. Normally Tommy wouldn't take anything seriously; perhaps even showing that he was shy on occasion. Reattaching his forearm to his bicep, he detached the entire arm from the shoulder, holding his left arm like a javelin almost. "I don't think I'll get to a Thousand... but I can try..... five hundred or so minimum?" He smirked, before taking a stance almost like he was a Olympic Shotput Thrower. "The difference is knowing how to throw, and knowing how to PUT." He stated, crooking the ball in his left arm against the top of his shoulder right shoulder, and against his neck. Stepping away, he breathed once... twice.... three times.... before he moved. He didn't do a running start, but rather a spinning one as he almost moved like a spinning top, one leg raised, as he spun to add more momentum to his spin, once! TWICE!
"LET'S GO! POP-GUN RAM!" He yelled, as he launched his still spinning upper body as he began to throw. A resounding *POP* echoed as Tommy literally launched himself from his mid section. The initial launch itself easily cleared 20 meters alone as he launched forward and upwards. Still he didn't stop! He was still spinning as he suddenly swing his arm out, increasing the momentum of his spin by using leverage, before he shouted, "POP-GUN RIFLE!" He yelled, and in another resounding *POP* the right arm launched while still holding the left, though now it was swinging like a bola through the air, clearing the 100 meter, 200 meter, 300, 400, 500! Already his arms were whirling, only just now starting to descend as he threw the limbs farther. "AND AGAIN! POP-GUN RIFLE!" He yelled, as his legs sprinted without an upper half to catch his upper body with near perfect coordination. The limbs angled a bit before launching once more, firing off the forearm and ball higher into the air, and farther clearing the 650 meter mark! "HA HA! NOW PO-" Suddenly his face seized up, as his right arm and his left bicep landed, scuffing on the field, but tumbling to break the fall. "Ouch! Forgot I don't have a Reel-Back system....." He said, looking as he decided not to further damage his limbs or add any further scuffs of bruises to them. "I'll settle here," He said, as his left wrist tossed the ball another few meters, before it landed.
"Seven Hundred Thirty Six Meters".
The robot spoke out as Tommy focused on breaking the fall of his left arm. He decided to spread it out, popping off every joint to minimize breaking as his fingers, palm, and forearm finally flew another 20 meters a bit to the left. "Ouch! Ow,ow,ow,ow,ow!" He groaned, as he quickly ran over to collect his scattered joints. "Sorry Dr.Brine! I tried to minimize bruising!" He said, having no major damage due to his intensive training regiment.
It'd take him a full couple of minutes to collect himself, but once he jogged over he didn't look too bad. A bit of red from the scuffing, scratches, and dirt from the test. "Alright! Now, Sidesteps right?" He said, before he got to his starting point; then began his next test. While other's had quirks that allowed them to control sand and dust; create winds and gales, or even controlled their blood; Tommy only had his mutation. Even so, he had his limitations; but still, he didn't give up. Even when he made it seem like he was a jokester, he always kept up with his class. So why was he showing off now? Well... It was simple. "Guys... Sorry to say this, but I don't want to just be the class clown. This year, I'm going to help make sure we trump 3A!" He said, as he made his sidesteps, at a blur of a pace. There was no popping, but his calves and foot disconnected as he almost tossed his limbs as he sidestepped, reducing the drag of unnecessary weight; as well as allowing him to focus exclusively on his thighs. Physically he wouldn't back down. "Four hundred Eighteen steps"
Tommy smiled with a cocky face which was covered in a sheen of sweat, his pink wild hair now slightly darker, and almost appearing as though Tommy had recently taken a shower. "There we Go.... Nice Warm-up!" Tommy huffed, but didn't look like he was going to collapse, his breathing evenly paced. "I'mma take a break. Cool off. Ya'll go ahead." He said, letting others do the next test before he caught up. Humming to himself, Tommy strolled over to the bench as he sat down, taking a quick drink of water as sweat steamed off of him.

OOC: Grim is on hiatus, so I will be leaving his character's name out of ranking. He has all right to join in when he's feeling better, and rankings may change upon his posting. BUT, we shall continue with Strength
Push Ups, Sits Ups, Grip Test
________________________
Wakaba was plotting on leaving, but something told him to stay. He dryly looked upon his classmates completing these activities and sighed. Sure, it was his last go-around, so there was some value in showing up. Nodding his head, he'd ride the rhythm of the beat in his ear buds, and bound back and forth between his feet. It didn't seem like it but the up-tempo music he was playing gave him a solid amount of steps. "300!" Not bad at all, he still had plenty in the tank. Next was the ball throw, in which he did actually engage his quirk. He whirled his arm three times, a residual hum emanating from his forearm. In a charge throw, the hero's song would launch the ball at an adequate and unsuspecting, "280!" The ball itself was chewed up, and highly damaged despite only being his hands for a short amount of time.
"Good enough." He wasn't undershooting, but he most definitely didn't see the use in trying his hardest in things where his quirk didn't excel.
Names would flicker onto the scoreboard to let students know where they stood amongst one another.
Agility Rankings 1. Faliwah 2. Tommy 3. Hokori 3. Lauren 4. Wakaba
Brine would whistle from surprise. A and B classes weren't all that far apart. Perhaps the teacher delineated this ranking through another method. As a nurse certain things were a little beyond him when it came to the methodology of this place, but they were impressive none the less. He'd have to ask Terebii later. He'd wave the robos to prep for the next set of test. "Let's get a move on. I wanna see what you all have to offer."

Wakaba squinted at the doctor. Strength. He was athletic but he wasn't exactly going to shine in comparison to those who had strength quirks. He did have the ability to apply pressure via... Perhaps he could shine in the grip test. He'd begin with the sit ups. "95!" About as good or a little bit better than his last year results. As for push-ups, he finally broke a sweat, "120!" He tapped his arms. To be brutally honest, he was surprising himself a bit. The piece de resistance was the grip test, to which he requested a radar robo hold until he was prepped. "Cover your ears if yer sensitive." He remarked to his classmates, not really giving much time to react.
Clicking his wrists together, sound funneled through his forearms only to be amped and manipulated by his shoulders. The sound was an extremely pleasant hum at first, but it drastically changed octaves and plummeted down to a harsh buzzing noise. The radar robos arms crumpled like tin cans as Waka brought his own hands closer and closer to the gripping device. The air between his palms rippled with violent sound waves and the device levitated as the sound juggled it. The numbers roared upward as he finally made contacts and clamp as hard as he could. There was a click, and even though Wakaba had released his grip, the device took a long time to decompress. "3900psi" It was little over a hearty saltwater crocodile bite. That was more like it! Waka was highly focused only doing exceptional in the things he was exceptional at. No point in stressing himself out trying be an all-rounder and do things he knew he can't do... -perhaps he took Nocturne's teachings too literally.

Damn it, she was third?! Lauren growls through gritted teeth as she just stares at the scoreboard, her blood boiling inside her... which was only a good thing. She needed to get up in fightin' spirit if she wanted to compete with the other people here. So, push ups, sit ups and grip test next, huh? Fine, she could deal with that. She'd get down and prepare for her push ups, and the moment the whistle blew, she began. She used her blood quirk to fine-tune the circulation in her own veins, making it more efficient and oxygen-carrying to her muscles and tendons to basically enhance herself a bit. Not by any supreme standards, but just enough as she heard the whistle blow, and she stops. "90!" the bot exclaims, and she already feels herself dropping in confidence as it was five less than Wakaba.
But she did not stop. Sit ups, same routine; she used her quirk to make her blood circulation more effective to help push her beyond her normal capacity, and she passed through that part of the evaluation. "120!" just the same amount. Well that was good. And after Wakaba's rather... deafening performance with the grip piece, it was her turn. She was surprised the thing was still functional. Regardless, she would indeed grasp it, and she'd use her quirk once more to pump up the muscles in her hand a bit, and then gripped hard until there was a click. She looked at the meter. 80psi. Damn, that was a really strong grip for a girl at least. So, she was pleased with it. She'd shrug and put it down, marching back in line and passing by Wakaba.
"TRY to not actually break the stuff next time, m'kay? Think U.A only has a limited amount of tech." she playfully scoffs at Wakaba.
