ooc: Like the other class threads I'll allow for some mingling time before we get into the swing of things, no post order for now, we'll see about establishing one if it becomes necessary. Also just like in the anime if you have your hero costumes or have gotten any support gear already, you can bring it for this thread. USJ, or the unforeseen simulation joint, was as grandiose as it ever was today, a massive facility dedicated to replicating the conditions of various natural disaster scenes so that students could be trained in disaster rescue and relief efforts. And that was exactly what class 1B was here today to do. Hiromi stood in the plaza at the center of the facility, going over a clipboard with a list of her students and the disaster simulations available, among other things. She'd gone on ahead and let everyone come in from the bus at their own pace. They would be here for plenty of time today, no need to rush them. They would need these moments of relaxation and levity to help ease them into the training they were in for. And so she would wait for her class to arrive and get ready before launching into her explanation of the plan for the day.

Disaster training. Umi was excited for today's lesson! A lot of her favorite heroes focused on rescue, and she wanted to be the kind of pro-hero who could save as many people as possible. She knew she had a lot to work on before she got her license, and these lessons were exactly what she needed to grow!
Her hero outfit was fairly simple, a dark wetsuit and a few pouches of first aid, waterproof and within reach. Umi's huge tail swished with anticipation. She was looking forward to learning more about her classmates and their quirks!
"Good morning, Hiromi-sensei! I'm excited to do my very best today!"

It took Miyuki a while to figure out where he was heading. U.A. was a big place; an even bigger place for someone of his... stature. It continued to weigh upon the boy's mind like an annoying gnat that wouldn't go away. His recent run-ins with some of his classmates had only exacerbated that feeling. It wasn't their fault that they were... big, muscular, scary... women. That wasn't important! He was Miyuki Primal, and he was going to show them what he was made of!
Miyuki's stout form shuffled through the doors that led to the Unfuh... Unforse... the U.S.J. Miss Flashfire had mentioned it in the past, and it had sounded unbelievable. Seeing it with his own eyes, Miyuki still found it all unbelievable. Maybe that was what the U was supposed to stand for. It was enormous, and it looked like there were a bunch of different kinds of areas here. Which one would they be using today?
When Miyuki got to the front alongside Umi, he was wearing significantly more clothing than usual. The firefighter's jacket that he usually kept slung over his shoulder (if he brought it with him at all) was tightly fastened to his body, covering him in its protective yellow sheen from the neck down. The size of the jacket meant that it draped over much of his lower body as well, leaving only his hands and feet uncovered. A Support Gear visor covered his head... mostly. The mask portion was loose, partly to allow Miyuki ready access to his breath, partly because the savage nature of his maw kept it from completely clamping shut without turning into a muzzle.
He performed an overly serious salute, standing rigid as a board. "Primal, reporting for duty!" He looked like he was about to rush into a burning building rather than train to be a Hero. Did he even dress himself?

The ever bombastic Han was bounding his way to the USJ facility, disaster training? Easy. He'd ace this just like he'd ace everything else, he was unstoppable! At least he thought of himself that way.
The building was massive, he had to look up at it in awe for a sec before turning his back to it and throwing up a peace sign, snapping a quick pic to send to mom. Han saved the picture and headed in to see what they were in for today, he hadn't had much interaction with anyone besides he dragon boy, that guy was awesome! He'd have to make sure to be buddies with him.
Han was in his hero outfit; the red robe with black and gold trim, loose black pants, a greenish sash clasped by a golden belt. He was (in his opinion) the image of the legendary Sun Wukong! Making him "Prince Wukong" as his hero name. Perhaps he'll upgrade to King when he graduates, till then though he had to prove himself to his new school, his teachers, and most of all his class.
"Wow! This is one sick disaster training center. This school never seems to disappoint!"
He called out as he entered the building, looking around at the classmates that had already gathered, his attention was immediately drawn to Miyuki as he bounded towards the group "Heeeyyy, Miyuki! Good to see you again!" alerting him to the approach before giving him a clap on the shoulder. Han then cleared his throat and gave a respectful bow to their teacher "Hiromi Sifu, a pleasure" raising with a gleam of excitement in his golden eyes "I cannot wait to see what you have in store for us"

Daichi had honestly considered skipping class today. Disaster training sounded like a lot of work. He was ready to take on some extra effort to become a hero, and probably would have been pumped and ready for something like this maybe a year into it... but it seemed like a pretty big leap for someone who had never even ran before the enterance exam. He wasn't in shape and he wasn't sure how useful his ability would be in a place like this considering he was pretty sure they wouldn't have actual animals in a place meant to be distroyed.
However, he had a suprise visitor sent to him from home to ensure he didn't. Seemed there was a spy for his family somewhere out there as Akuma had forced his way into Daichi's dorm room, barked at him for fifteen about how, "If you want to follow your dream you have to motivated to chase it like a tennis ball through the air," which got him to at least dress himself before plopping back into bed, so when all else failed the massive hound just grabbed him by the back of the jacket and dragged him the entire way to the training ground.
Along the way Ms. Sparrow caught sight of them as did a racoon and stray tabby cat that Daichi often fed. They followed the two and the odd group arrived at the disaster zone only a bit late which was a shock for the lazy and apathetic student that was normally late by a considerable amount. Akuma dragged the omniglot right over to Hiromi and dropped him at her feet with a grin that practically screamed the question, "am I a good boy?" Ms. Sparrow landed on his chest and the racoon and cat trotted over and sat to either side of him. Seemed the animals were taking credit for getting him to class that day... which wasn't a wrong assumption.
Daichi stared up at his teacher for a moment, full black of expression as he debated how to explain himself as to why he was not only slightly late but had to be dragged in by a massive dog and his lackies. Eventually, though, he decided to just roll with it a greet her with a nod and a quiet, "Mm," without even getting off the ground as though everything about this situation was entirely normal.

Zenjia was excited about the contents of the class today. They were having a field trip in the first place which meant she made sure she was prepared to do whatever it took to get to class on time!
She was bounding with energy and was one of the first ones there but she took it upon herself to do a bit of exploration while waiting for her classmates to filter in.
There were so many areas, and the place was huge! She could hardly believe it! There were so many different zones, it just made her all the more excited...
Eventually, she would sneak back in only to see that not everyone had yet shown up. Disappointing, she was ready to get the class started!
She... kept her distance from daichi and his animals and eventually settled by Han.
"hey! Isnt this sick? I cant beleive how big this place is. I bet i can get a better score than you~"
She would tease the monkey. These exercizes should be up her alley but she knew Han would excell well here as well. She needed someone who would push her to be the best...
Kozue would do to. She looked around, wondering if the lizard would show up

Hihoshi would be the last to arrive as usual. She went at her own pace to reach this place and was relaxed the entire journey from the moment she left the dorm to her arrival. She noticed the lot of her classmates already present and was quite happy to see each and every one of them.
Disaster training for Hihoshi was nothing new. Back home, she'd have to save folk from a mine collapse at least twice but expanding her catalogue with new venues was a plus. Besides, she wanted to see how the others handled themselves in these varied situations.
She sauntered in at her own pace, announcing her presence with just a casual wave and her tall stature. She shoved her hands in her back pockets then took a moment to look at each locale. Rockslides she could probably do. Moving rocks and large boulders came part and parcel with her home.

Serenity was excited, the usual curriculum of UA was all about using your powers to the fullest but disaster training was a place where non combat quirks like hers could stand apart, even then, people with a cool head and good eyes could compensate for less than favorable quirks because as dad had always said "heroes don't fight villains they help people, sometimes those two just happen to be the same thing."
She entered the training grounds with wide eyed wonder even the Jones estate wasn't this grandios. It was nice seeing thing from a baseline with the rest of her classmates who she had honestly not tried to interact with too much, not for any lack of desire to network and make social bonds but because of her crippling fear of social faux pas and her not terribly great Japanese giving her the impression of the silent brooding type which knowing her pedigree was par for the course. As quietly and discretely as she could she walked to the meeting area ready to demonstrate her knowledge through actions and not words.

Kozue struts along toward her next class, humming to the most recent song she got hooked on last night. Today was gonna be a good day, at least that's what she tells herself. It's disaster relief training this time, which means she doesn't have to do any fighting... Hopefully. Not that she is against fighting, she'd totally be fine and not nervous at all about that!
She parts the doors into the large training area and notices most of her classmates had arrived before her. Okay, no biggie, she's not late at least. She notices some eyes turn to her, glancing back at Zenjia and waving as she approaches. "Sup, Z? Ready to show people how it's done?" She asks with a grin. Zenjia is a fun person whose positivity is contagious, the kind of person that Kozue has no real concerns of turning on her. That makes her particularly worth associating with, even if her competitive nature does run the risk of potentially damaging Kozue's status. It's a calculated risk that Kozue wagers will be worth it in the long run. It's important to have people to rely on, or else you'll be all on your own against the opposition. Never again.
