For 500 years after the World Government sealed away the destructive forces of the Devil Fruits, a single man by the name of Jole E D'Vil unleashed a wave of new Devil Fruits, before stealing the devil fruits guarded by the World Government. When he was captured and sentenced to death for his crimes, he revealed that not all was as it seemed, and that anyone seeking answers would find within his treasure, the One Piece. With that, a new age of piracy had begun. Twenty years have passed since his execution, and botu Pirates and Marines are hunting for the Devil Fruits and One Piece. Who shall find it first, in this Grand Hunt!

Divided by the Red Line and the Grand Line, each of the Blues are divided into the north, south, east, and west blue. Many start there journey in one of these four blues, but they all are generally vast expanses of sea with a few scattering of islands and coasts on the red line.

A stretch of sea that encompass the world. It is considered to be a strange and unpredictable place compared to everywhere else, with those who return often being broken by it. Those who return intact however, describe it to be a place that is as wondrous as it is perilous, and to never underestimate it.

The first half of the grand line that is accessible from Reverse Mountain. It's often called Paradise due to how this half of the Grand line is more hospitable compared to the second half. The islands, climate, and weather patterns here are all unique in their own way.

The second half of the Grand Line reached by going under the Red Line through Fishman Island. This half is the far more perilous and dangerous of the two, with a special type of Log pose required to navigate it's waters. Islands can range from being perfectly hospitable to nearly impossible to survive on for more than a few moments.
*The Calm Belt

The pair of lines that separate the Grand Line from the Four Blues on either side of it. The Calm Belt has absolutely no wind, clouds, or even waves on it, almost resembling a safe though difficult to travel sea. However, it a nesting zone for the leviathan sized Sea Kings; meaning that travel through it without proper equipment is nearly impossible. Impel Down, The Navy HQ, and several other islands are located in this belt.

There are some locations that are so lost or important to anyone's journey that they are almost a world in and of itself. This includes places such as Reverse Mountain, Skypiea, Fishman Island, and even the illustrious Wano; as well as many more places.

There are many things that are recorded in the annals of history, and even more erased. An Archive of all characters, crews, and even those erased from history itself.
