Visual Appearance:

Physical Appearance: Salem is about 5”2 with gray-blue eyes and bright blonde hair with dyed purple tips. Their hair is often somewhat messy but well cared for. They are slender and quite pale. He has scars from his top surgery that are still very visible, but he is honestly proud of them. Most people have a hard time discerning if they are a boy or a girl, and that’s how they like it. 

Clothing: Salem sticks to band shirts, jeans, and sneakers almost constantly. Though he loves and excuse to dress up and wear a 3 piece suit, they also prefer comfort over style. They never wear shorts unless going swimming, and most of his jeans are ripped. He has a sort of pop-punk style. When in colder temperatures they love wearing extremely oversized hoodies.

Personal Items: A nice pocket watch from their parents and a derpy looking sharpedo plush named Gobbert that they will either openly carry or keep with its head sticking out of their backpack.



Personal Information



General Personality: Everything is a joke for Salem. They are rather lazy but do love to travel. He loves making and being with friends, but also has social anxiety so one can see where the problem is. They are a huge pokemon and anime nerd and absolutely love geeking out with others over their passions. He has always wanted to try his luck at contests, but doesn’t think he is pretty or talented enough for it. However, he hides his insecurities behind self-deprecating humor.

Habits: Cursing and dirty jokes are Salem’s two biggest habits that he really tries to cut down on. He’s also been trying to bring himself down less but the self-deprecation has just been such a big part of his coping for so long that it’s hard to do. They also tend to get loud without noticing so people around them have to warn them to keep it down a lot. Holding grudges is something they could win awards for, and they aren’t sorry for it. They don’t like being messed with or seeing other people being messed with.

Goal: See the world!

History: Salem had a pretty normal life. They parents were… well… his dad was great. His mom was always sweet but never accepted them for who they were. Salem grew up questioning themself until they were twenty-two, and not being able to come to terms with themself until that point. His brother moved out as soon as he turn eighteen and moved to Johto at age twenty-seven. Salem looked up to him for that and wanted to get out and about as soon as they could, but the chance just never came. They mostly just wanted to leave because while many people loved Undella, Salem hated it to no end and wanted nothing more than to leave. Though, there were some other reasons they wanted to get out as well.



It took until they were twenty-five to get out of their parents’ house fully, which meant three years of having to be deadnamed and misgendered purposefully after coming out. When they finally left, they went to Galar first and caught their first pokemon there, starting their journey. While Pelicant the Cramorant didn’t stay as their first in line, he is a best friend and perfect part of the team. They’ve travelled all over for the past three years before showing up in Altair and have collected a team along the way. They even were able to meet up with their brother, Gabriel, in Johto who gave them his eevee to hold onto under one condition. Gabriel strapped a go-pro to Scout’s head and asked for it to stay rolling as much as possible so that every time they are able to meet, he is able to watch his sibling’s travels. They arrived in Altair from Johto after spending about six months in Johto recovering from their bottom surgery with help from Gabriel. It's their first trip out since getting back on their feet, and they are ready and egar for a new adventure.
