The etchings artist prepares the machine and moves to press the 'ink' to her arm. It would be quite painful, etchings are basically branding a person's skin with molten liquid after all, but the clamps will ensure Turf won't accidentally jerk their arm away and ruin the etchings.

The Arbiter would continue his explanation as they work. "Two innate abilities all Shadow wielders have is the ability to see perfectly clearly in the dark, and the ability to meld into the shadows to conceal themselves. More advanced techniques will also allow you to quite literally teleport or fly through the shadows, temporarily turn into an intangible shade, or blinding a target completely," He raises a finger. "One of the drawbacks of shadow etchings however is your power will be greatly diminished in the presence of light. Generally you will want to be conducting your missions during nightfall,"

He would continue to explain some other details about how Hunters typically use their shadow etchings to sneak around and complete missions as the etchings artist does their work, before finally they would stop and declare the etchings finished. The shadow etchings are designed almost looking similar to clouds, roiling and flowing with almost no rigid lines. "That should be it. Please refrain from using your etchings until they have cooled off," The artist says before starting to clean up as the clamps of the chair open.

The Arbiter smiles to her. "Come, we have a special facility where you can become acquainted with your new abilities," He says, motioning her to follow.
