Bellas eyes grew wide as the arbiter gave them an showing of how Shadeheart worked. she fell in love, almost immediately with the weapon and it helped that it looked so sleek and stylish. she had a massive smile on her face and badri knew, there was no changing her mind about this weapon
”Thats the one! thats my weapon!”
she exclaimed, excited about it, reaching out to grab shadeheart from the arbiter to examine it more throughly.
"How do I do that? how do I activate the... essence effect?" she asked, meanwhile Badri would sigh. this was a bit troublesome for her, she had expected the two of them to have had one of the two handed weapons. She had her eyes set on the Hammer and the axe, or what seemed like a double bladed staff. She had to think now, though, what kind of weapon she would have. she wasnt a fan of guns, so the many guns that she saw didn't appeal to her much and she wanted a weapon that would work well with her sisters choice. almost immediately, she thought of a sword and shield. she seemed introspective as her sister examined her weapon of choice. she was quiet for a moment, giving the arbiter time to explain to her sister the question she asked before posing her own question
”Do you have anything that can be used defensively? like something that can be transformed into some kind of shield?”
”Thats the one! thats my weapon!”

As Bella takes Shadeheart the Arbiter shrugs. "It's pretty much as simple as willing it to happen. It's a lot easier to activate a Hunter Weapon than it is to use Etchings," He explains. Sure enough as soon as Bella willed it to, the rapier glows with energy and leaves aftertrails just like it did when the Arbiter wielded it.
When Badri inquires about defensive options, the Arbiter turns and grabs what looks like a cruelly designed tonfa. The front and back ends are visious spikes that could do some serious damage to armour. "This is Duskrazor. At a baseline it can be used to block attacks like a regular tonfa, but when you activate it..." The essence runes glow and a large shield of comparable size to a kite shield projects out, parallel to the long side of the tonfa. "This shield can block both physical and magical attacks very effectively, though be mindful that while the shield can take the impact, that doesn't necessarily mean the arm holding it can,"
