Crew Information
Crew Name: Djinn Pirates
Flag: The Flag was a circled skull jolly roger with a headband and cloth wrapped around it laying atop a open book. Behind the skull lays a oil lamp and a word, both angled upwards, with the lamp having a flame at the end of it.
Captain: Jinn D Baad
Members:
Albert Jones
Names: Albert B Theseus, Ali
Role: Helmsman, Shipwright, (temp) navigator
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Bounty(For Pirates): 5k-- Resisting Arrest, multiple accounts of stealing cargo, and associating with a criminal.
Physical Description:
Albert stands a good 7 foot tall, with a wide and bulky figure, along with a square face that is adorned with a short beard, sideburns, and forward raised hair brown hair that has a stern, yet caring face on it. Many would assume that he's fat, but years of lifting lumber, using a hammer, and assembling ships with his family's business has sculpted him to be a bear of a man, easily capable of tossing away anything smaller than himself. His arms and hands are especially thick, to the point where he's a bit concerned on what he wears, as he sometimes has to rip the sleeves off of things to fit into them. Usually he wears a simple canvas cotton white shirt, with a light orange sash around his waist, and navy blue linen pants, with shoes made to let him grip onto wet wooden boards to give him a bit of grip when repairing ships. When he smiles, his eyes tend to go a bit wide, and his large mouth shows off a very toothy grin that almost makes it seems like he's looking forward to a fight.
General Personality: Albert is a soft spoken man who has an extreme fascination and love of anything ship or sailing related. He's constantly researching new possible designs for hulls, rudders, and sails. Normally he's a very polite person, using miss, mister, and proper suffixes to denote respect. He's usually the one to keep things calm around the ship; usually to Jinn's boredom and dismay; though he's a relatively enjoyable guy to have a drink with. While at first he appears to be a pushover, he's anything but as he refuses to back down on matters of the ship. He knows that his skills are invaluable, and that if he goes on strike that no one can fix the ship like he can; and while Jinn does get irritated by the fact that Albert is willing to do this in order to get his way, he is easily forgiven as he usually has a good point to what he wants done.
While sailing the ship; he's more than confident in his abilities; even going so far as to task Jinn with quickly handling the lines as need be, though due to Jinn's lack of experience sailing he's not capable of pulling off as many of his seemingly mad ideas; though he is confident in his ability to judge his choice of piloting as well as what his baby can take and can't take.
Combat Style:
Albert isn't exactly a combative person, preferring to deescalate situations before they grow out of hand. Still, he isn't a push over, and is more than willing to use his years of knowledge on ships to make other helmsman look like fools. When he's forced to, he isn't above using his devil fruit to capture people and end fights, if not delay pursuit; often allowing him and Jinn to get away without raising too much suspicion by laying sticky traps. In worse case scenarios where he's backed into a corner, he's far more willing to throw fisticuffs with his ability to harden his hands into resin amber, and add a bit more rock into his roll. Unfortunately he knows about his weakness to fire; and outright avoids using anything related to fire, choosing to flee as far away as possible as opposed to doing anything else.
During ship battles, he'll often put his all into his sailing, only using his devil fruit to make quick "Patch" repairs by slapping resin on planks, slapping them over the hole; and then hardening the resin into amber to act as a natural epoxy, since he can't reabsorb Amber, and thus it's actually waterproof. Despite his ability to turn semi-invulnerable, he hates getting shot as he complains that bullets still burn, and feels queasy when he's stabbed or slashed in his resin state.
Devil Fruits
Devil Fruit Name: Resin Resin Fruit (Jushi Jushi no Mi)
Devil Fruit Type: Logia
Powers: Allows the user to create, control, and transform into a thick viscous semi-transparent sticky resin that is difficult to escape from without the use of cleaners or sea water. The user can also quickly harden the resin into strong yet brittle amber to capture and secure enemies. The user can drain the resin, and sap from trees and absorb them into their body. Similarly they can also melt down amber back into resin to be reabsorbed so long as they come into contact with it.
Limitations: The user is highly susceptible to fire, being unable to put themselves out unless they submerge themselves in sea water. What's more, the amber while tough is brittle and can easily be shattered with blunt objects or force. While their body is made of resin they cannot move quickly, though they can still shift their body in an instant to absorb the force of and capture an attacker or bullet. Hot objects will still inflict pain upon the user no matter the form whether resin or amber.
Known History:
Albert was born as a shipwright's son, and ended up accidentally eating a devil fruit while his father was out repairing a fleet. At the time, he ran away from home and met with Jinn who quickly helped to figure out who to control his fruit enough that he could hide it from his parents. Jinn disappeared for a few years, before appearing again, as Albert was older. Indebted to Jinn, Albert immediately accepted a request to create a ship for Jinn to use, and by using his fruit he had been secretly getting use to; he assembled the Island Skipper with parts found around the island. Albert would have said his goodbyes to Jinn, but was dragged aboard on the pretense that Albert couldn't hide his fruit forever; and that when they found out, they'd arrest him and make him pretty much a slave. So he decided to make the final decision, leaving a note for his father that he was going to be a shipwright and live his own life; before heading out with Jinn.

Heph Theseus - Younger Brother (Alive)
Crew Logs: A history of your crew.
Ship Description:
The Island Skipper is one of the first ships that Jinn's friend Albert made alone, by taking the ruins of two separate fishing vessels and a galleon's captain cabin that washed up on shore. The cannons on the side were salvaged as well, though their cracked and rusted state indicates that they're not operational, and more simply for show. The ship has one unique feature though due to it's design. The ship is capable of running and even sailing with relative speed over sandy banks and shores where other ships would be forced to be beached or grounded. This can be used to easily beach the ship onto an island safely out of the tide, or even to get a running start when setting sail; if not being used as a way to outmaneuver any pursuers.
The ship also has a small harpoon cannon on the back that Albert often uses to catch large fish, or salvage that he can use on the ship. Within the Captain's cabin, the once large room is separated into three smaller rooms. Two bedrooms, each with two hammocks, and a map room directly below the wheel and in front of the window. Each of the side hulls also has a cargo hold for storing chests, food, loot, and a few support pillars that one can set up an hammock on in case there's no room left.
Inventory:
1 barrel of rations
1 barrel of limes
1 barrel of freshwater
1 hog head of gunpowder
Several bookshelves with various "borrowed" books on it
