So, I've been toying with an idea regarding this for a while. I might not run this in full RP format and instead take it to the colosseum, but I do so love the idea of multiversal settings. Not so much necessarily where you can meet infinite variations of yourself (though that is also fun sometimes), but rather worlds that are drastically different in some fashion, where some major event went differently so that history took a different path than what it did here, where maybe even some fundamental laws of the universe might be slightly different.
What I want, more than anything, is a general feel of what people think of multiversal settings, and if the view is favorable, what kinds of things they would like to see in such an RP, and what kinds of things they would prefer not to have. For me personally, I enjoy the idea of worlds in such settings encompassing many genres, from post-apocalyptic, to futuristic sci-fi, to high fantasy. The full gamut of possibilities is exciting, to me. But I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, necessarily.
