Serena winced at the honorific "Ok nope please don't call me that." she said hurriedly "it feels weird being treated so respectfully. I'm not someone who deserves that kinda deference"
Serena's self-esteem had improved much over the past year, but no way was she ready to have people giving her such nice honorifics when she still viewed herself as a street urchin at heart. She'd mull over what Benkei said about Nocturne though, he had said things would go back to the way they were before they met, cutting ties with her completely... but was that true? And did she want it do be true? A swirl of emotions raged inside her, but as usual she pushed them down.
