Even though she wasn't the most social of students, rumors still caught her ear and while most didn't catch her interest, the idea of someone joining the 2A class out of nowhere was intriguing enough. For the most part, she listened to what was being said by other students and eventually got a name.
Benkei Yozara. Information on him was slim even with access to a hero data base. He had Yakuza connections, dead relatives but most importantly she figured out which dorm room it was that he was staying in. She wasn't normally one to sneak around but after school was out one day, he would spot a note wedged between the door and the frame. A note that would fall to the floor as the door was opened. A note that requested a secret meeting with a promised friend and ally with another hero student at one of the training rooms later in the day when most of the student body would be in their dorms resting for the next day.
Within the training room in question, Faliwah would wait in a dim room. Just light enough to notice people moving about and to make out notable features of other people if they were close enough. She had patience, he would show soon she was sure. As a new hero student, making as many connections as one could always helped in making ones experience more enjoyable. For most people anyway

What the hell was that presence?!? No, it was a sound... Benkei twitched, jerking himself upright from his bed. Was he being watched? Much like his new friend Serena, Benkei suffered from some ptsd symptoms. One of them was hyper-alertness which took hard work to settle. Upon further inspection, he'd notice the note. "Mmmmm?" He exhaled in confusion. He'd text Serena, asking if there was hazing for new hero students. As of right now, she was his only lifeline. Another thought came... Did they find him all the way out here? No, that was just paranoia... it had to be someone from school. Had to be! If an intruder came, there were robots and cameras to sound the campus alarm. The teen would throw some clothes on and follow the note's directive. If this was another student... it didn't really eliminate the possibility of it being a spy. Upon arriving to the room, Benkei would announce himself as if entering a dojo. It was a force of habit! In fact, he was practically on auto-pilot.
"Yooooo! Yondan, Benkei Yozora arriving!" There would be two claps before he'd step in. It wasn't needed, but he always added pizazz to his dojo introductions. It was clear someone taught him the right way, but he was confidently going off script, mainly because he was in such a high prestige already, which led to plenty of leeway. "Thank you for having me,and... I think just knocking would have sufficed." Now that he stepped in, it was a lot easier to see. She clearly wasn't a teacher. It was one of the upperclassmen, the girl who clashed with Shinja during last year's sports festival. If memory served right, she had a hard-to-spell name. He wouldn't even attempt to pronounce it. This girl wanted to spar with him right? The note said a conversation, but this clearly was a training room. To that effect, he'd simply just finish his dojo-style introduction. It was ingrained in him to do so. "Proficiencies: Karate, Kendo, American Boxing, and Kempo! " His head tilted... most dojos requested a fun fact with an introduction. "My favorite pastime is watching anime, and my favorite meal is bbq beef, mixed veggies, and firm noodles. " There was two! She wouldn't be able to complain about that. Actually... he thought about it. This was school, not a dojo. He'd bow anyway to hide his blushing face. "Class 2a..."
"So what do you want with me?" He'd stand back up, recovering from his supreme fumble.

Faliwah would be towards one of the walls, sitting in a meditative position as Benkei would arrive his loud entrance not interrupting her pose in any way other that her eyes quickly opening. She would wait until he finished talking, studying him as he entered and his body language. He seemed confident enough but also not? This boy seemed to be a walking contradiction and even with him standing right in front of her, it was baffling to see how such a man didn't start off in the hero course to begin with. Why was he ever in management at all with supposed skills like his?
With a single motion she would gracefully jump up and subsequently bow at the same time Benkei die, the girl clearly a formal and traditional type
Konnichiwa. 3-B no Wafliaflia Faliwahdesu. Konban wa kitekurete arigatÅ "
That would be her greeting before anything else, clearly trained herself and one of more traditional heritage. Her mannerisms were impeccable which would make her next few statements more jarring
Watashi wa anata no koto o shiritaidesu. That is an impressive resume of skills, assuming accuracy. How does one with such skills not start off in the Hero course? Everything about you is shrouded in mystery, Why?"
She would ask simply, her face betraying no signs of the curiosity she held. She was difficult to read, as she remained calm and stoic yet gazed at him with a calculating gaze.

Benkei blinked. Her Japanese sounded polished and polite, almost like a strict auntie or grandmother. He willed himself to stand firm instead of shriveling up when her own introduction was nothing like his. How embarrassing... To be honest, he didn't know how to gauge this person. She wasn't one of the names included in Serena's breakdown. She wanted to know more about him, but- "No, no, no, I'm not that impressive. I've been a fighter since a kid." He said as if being a 4th-degree blackbelt was some small feat. The heroes he looked up to were masters of their craft; The Rocket was a golden gloves holder, and Nocturne, a Hanshi for his family's dojo. In comparison, a mere yondan was nothing. He had plenty of work to do.
"...but I only took the hero tests recently. There were a bunch of robots to beat up, and I was lucky enough to get a good score. You've gotta be like a superstar or something to start in the hero department during your first year, right?" A sheepish response, also an indicator he didn't have the slightest clue about how the school worked... This meant he didn't really have much to do with his enrollment. Someone had to have done it for him. The robots the hero course knew all to well, he'd only just faced last week for the first time. "I only got into this school because of recommendations. I'm not some big shot or anything." Again, this was no small feat, but he didn't see the big deal. It meant he had connections, at least a person or people kind enough to look out for him when it came to UA's steep wall of admittance. He was lucky enough to get accepted, which to him, was all that mattered. He also didn't know how the standard process worked or what a recommendation really meant. Most students tested their way in, and only the prodigies got in through recommendations. Well... he was a martial arts prodigy. Benkei unknowingly fit the bill perfectly. He bit his lip. Terebii told him not talk about his past. This was going to be hard. Hopefully, she wouldn't get into the nitty-gritty.
"What mystery? I-is this for a project or something?" He was utterly confused.

Faliwah studied him intently. recommended? by who? this boy seemed incredibly humble... and completely ignorant as to how being accepted into the school typically works. the answers he was giving her was odd, he hadn't even taken the hero course test upon his admission?
Intriguing."
she simply noted, keeping quiet for a moment as she stared intently
Who was it that recommended you? most people do, in fact start off in the track of their choice. transfers from general and support tracks are very rare"
she stated matter of factly, a lack of emotion to her face
you say you aren't a big shot, but to be recommended you have to know some kind of hero personally, and they have to be impressed by you to recommend you to the school. your words seem contradictory." she noted, not letting up with her assault of questions.
Project? you say you aren't anyone important, what project would I be working on that would consist of me of giving you an interview?"

Benkei tilted their head. They did? People really got to choose? Nocturne and Terebii made his student planner for him... Yoo handled the enrollment with extreme care, but it left Benkei full lost on the "normal" ways in. He thought this was normal... Well then. He looked off into the distance, trying to find a lie but he couldn't. "I don't really get why it's so important to know. But if you haaaaave to hear who, it was two recommendations to be precise. Nocturne, and Mama Bear. N-no... I didn't chose my track, it was all done for me...I didn't do anything really..." He knew Mama Bear from living at the orphanage. It was too easy to get targeted living at Yoo's mansion. Family ties to Yoo, and a helping hand from Cahya... He couldn't really help that he knew them, or that they were willing to go the extra mile for him when they found out he wanted to be a hero. He'd leave these fine details out of course. So it wasn't for a project... So was his entry and student track some freaky occurrence or something?
"So that's how it works... Beside that, if not for a project, why are you so interested? " She was an upperclassman. She had internships and real-world hero work to achieve. He was just a small fry compared to her, at least that's how he saw things. Something clicked in his head, maybe she was a bully. He was still misinterpreting things, but once he felt like he was being challenged, there wasn't much going back. With a furrowed brow, he started to glare at her. He was no stranger to beating up bullies back in the day. He'd clutch his fists. Fine! he'd deal with her head-on rather than floundering about. "If this is some sort of hazing, it's NOT funny." Settling into a stance, he'd push his lead hand into a more clawed shaped, and allowed a nice bend in his knees. "I feel like it's not your business... if you wanna keep testing me, go ahead and try me."

Faliwah was shocked upon hearing who had given him the recommendations for coming into this school. This boy.... he was something else and he didn't even seem to know just how special he was. It was almost insulting.
Nocturne and Mama Bear? their agencies have almost no overlapping ground.... If true, you shouldn't be timid or dismissive at all. You sell yourself short."
she stated matter of factly. she gave him a quizzical look as he mentioned a hazing
No, it's not a hazing, but I would be interested in testing out your skillset. It may not be my business, but I think it would be in your benefit to befriend another on the hero track, and a good spar is a respectable way to gauge ones capabilities "
she noted, while simultaneously transforming her hands into average sized hand fans, getting into a combat position herself, waiting to see what his next move would be

So she'd set this entire meeting up because she wanted to be friends? What the hell!? They could have just gotten burgers like all the others kids... This school sure was a weird one. He'd bite his tongue and take in what he could see. Fans for hands. There was absolutely no way that's all there was to it. He'd rushed forward in a sprint. With his height and long stride, he cleared majority of the space before seemingly going for Fali's left side. This however would be a feint, as his body spun in an instant relaying a swift kick to her rib cage if she weren't careful. He kept his hands toward his torso to gather dust and create a space for stars to be born. He was fine with multitasking.
The exhale he released, was more for of a taunting battle cry. "Tsuiiiii~~" Why he made the noise, who knows? Probably a side effect of learning in a dojo.

It happened in a blink of eye. She quickly had to assess the situation but with his stride, there was very little time. The attack seemed obvious but as she moved to defend she was met with air. Clever.
The fans seemingly grew, engulfing her arms how as she would stand on her toes and do a pirrouete, her arm fans wrapped around her, picking up gusts of wind as she spun. 3 rotations, thats all she did but the resulting winds were powerful. He could easily be blown against a wall if he didnt brace himself. Regardless, hed find distance between them again
Smart."
She'd say simply before moving into an attack of his own. This was a simple demonstration of strength. She already saw some of his technique, she wanted to see the power behind his block and how he would treat a straight attack

Benkei analyzed as he fought. She would guard and put on display a move of her own. So the fans were capable of strong winds! He should've guessed from the start. He'd reach behind him as if grabbing onto something. With a flicker at his fingertips, a large star was created anchoring itself into the ground."Aligning star." Fali would find no distance would be granted as Benkei hunkered down to remain in the same spot. These star. They had different functions he could assign to them. As the wind died down, the young hero would close his fist and the star would slightly decrease in size to attach itself to his knuckles. The movement was seamless as if reeling back and hunkering down was the same movement before letting his swing follow through.
"And... Seiken!" A bashing strike aiming to slam that large star into his opponent with explosive force.

Faliwah was caught somewhat off guard. she didn't expect him able to weather her powerful winds as he did. this fellow sure had some tricks up his sleeve. it seemed that he created something out of nowhere and used said created thing to do things that he needed to do, the odd mass growing and shrinking as he seemed to bid it.
and that mass had some solid power behind it too, Faliwah letting out a grunt as she was hit. not bad, though she wouldn't be out of the fight that easily. she smiled for the first time, this was a solid challenge but the question still stood, why wasn't he in hero course from the very beginning? clearly he was highly capable. could he last? He seemed like he could, and he was well trained martially. one could only tell. she couldn't pull any punches
She braced herself, after she was sent flying and charged in herself but, at the last second, she did a feint herself, striking the right side of his body instead. could he see through her attack? It would have been well executed, leaving virtually no signs that she was going to do the feint in the first place but everyone had their tells, it was just about figuring out what they were. when she attacked, she would do an X strike at his neck down, moving with speed and precision

Benkei tightened his fists as his star dissolved back into dust. He couldn't help but mentally pat himself on his back. She was a 3rd year, right? No way a single hit would take her out. Just like he assumed she was not only already up, but rushing him and seemingly coming for his right. He took a step back to play it on the cautious side of things and held his guard up to buffet the strike. It was at this point she switched to her true intention, a cross-chop using her fans. He'd create a small x with his own arms and hold them up ever so slightly. Both cross-attacked would meet, and Benkei would find himself sliding back a bit. Okay okay, she had some power in that small body. He could feel his forearms stinging from her attack. Those fans were some flimsy wood. He'd take note.
The teen kept his stance, a bit lower than before. He'd breathe in before pitching himself into a cartwheel, and a following backflip with some pretty impressive height. He was aiming to make a perfect landing by kicking both feet down onto his opponent with a heavy landing. "Sui!" He exhaled in aggression.

Benkei created distance with a few acrobatic moves, creating impressive height with the backflips. As he was doing his backflips, with a flap of her arms, she would do her signature super jump, meeting him in midair.
As she did so, she would swing her arms sending blades of wind in his direction that would cause slashing damage. Shortly after, he would find that she was skydiving her way towards him, arms pointed, fans closed almost like a spear that was closing in on him.

Benkei already had downward momentum, so there wasn't much he could do about Fali's incoming attack. The wind slashed against him, cause his clothes to tear and some blood to be shed. Seemed like she was going for his landing spot. It meant timing of his next attack would mean everything here. Instead of landing he foot found itself standing upon a star as he leaned in to Fali who's lunging spear would have been under his foot and at an awkward angle by now. He clutched hard and created a star. "Blade Constellation:..."
With a slight of hand, he'd go far a ruthlessly fast slash across her back, his starry weapon disappearing just as fast as a sword would be sheathed- "Iai." At the end of his arc, he'd tumble to the ground and scramble to his feet. He took a few deep sighs before catching his breath. So this was a third year? Were they all this confident and strong? He had a feeling if, he took the fight steady, he could win. At the same time, he didn't know all of Fali's moves. It was likely, there was something she had up her sleeve. He'd hold off on his own ace in the hole... Just in case.

within seconds the battlefield had changed, as Benkei quickly changed his tactics and faliwah had zoomed right past him, and below him. the starry blade would meet up with her back but it wouldn't cause her to falter even in the slightest as her next move had been decided.
As benkei clumsily landed, Faliwah was still airborne, behind and above the male as she had moved to glide right below him, and back upwards and pivoted midair. she would then send in blades of winds towards benkei's direction. those same blades of winds would cause her to rise higher with each swing of her arm.
after about three blades of winds, she would dive towards him once more, in the same spear like position that she had done prior
