"Don't make me mad. I'll bite you. I mean it."
General
Name: Liza Marigold
Identity: Dragonewt
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Date of Birth: March 7th
Place of Origin: Anaheim, California
Occupation: Student
Faction: U.A (Class 2-B)
Appearance
Visual Appearance:
Physical Appearance: Liza is a girl in her youth with a height of no more than four feet tall which she considers small for her age with exceptionally lustrous long blonde hair and clear sky blue eyes that reflect both intelligence and an impish sheen to them. On the upper left side of her temple is a green horn that has a crystalline shine to it to give it the appearance of a polished gemstone and hidden away is a medium length tail colored in an almost similar style to her horn except it is a matte color of a swamp-colored green and brown with small ridges along the middle with a scaly finish upon it.
Civilian Clothes: She considers the clothing she wears to be average to slightly stylish, mostly taking a liking to jean shorts since the denim can easily hide her tail most of the time. She is also quite fan of vests mixed with shirts that show off her midriff, making a style all on her own without any help from people or aid from magazines. Fur-lined shoes and caps are often favorite since she dislikes the cold and has learned the cold enters through the head and feet areas first and has taken precautions against these elements.
Hero Outfit: Her hero attire is something she came up with on her own. The material she requested was to be made pliant but also able to adhere to her skin to increase the potency of her Quirk. It is a skin-tight suit styled to look like dragon skin complete with a scale design to match the color and texture of her tail. Finally, an attachment is worn upon her head to give her another horn on the right side...though it is bigger than her natural one yet has the same appearance/polish as it.
Personality
Bad Habits: On occasion, will bite someone that has irritated her enough instead of using any other facet of her quirk no matter if they're a friend or foe or is someone she generally dislikes even briefly. In some cases, she even sticks out her tongue as both an insult and a sign of affection in a very crude manner.
Goal: Becoming a hero admired by all.
General Personality: Liza is still very much a child with childish traits to fit. Stubborn to a fault, she doesn't always do what she's told and quite frankly, she hates it. She'd rather do things of her own volition and be independent. But honestly speaking, she does long for friendship and a place to belong where her Quirk isn't considered 'weird' or discriminated against. She is prone to a mischievous nature, enjoying the occasional prank and teasing others either through childish hazing or using her Quirk to give them a scare. A good-hearted girl beneath all that immature exterior who dreams of becoming like her favorite rescue heroes whom she admires dearly. She displays amazing intelligence and dedication
as well.
Personal Life
Mother: Amanda Marigold- Alive. Lives overseas in ANaheim. Has a quirk that allowed her cheeks to expand and store larges amount of matter for easy transport.
Father: Oliver Marigold- Alive. Lives in Musutafu with his daughter and has a job with his chameleon quirk that lets him hang in high places as both a painter and a construction worker.
Siblings: None
Extended Family: None
History: Ever since birth, Liza was born with a tail and a single horn on the side of her head. Right away, doctors knew she was a Quirk-holder of the mutant variety. her parents couldn't be more proud of the girl. They loved their daughter no matter how different she looked and it was likely a similar story with all the parents of Mutant Quirk holders. But Liza didn't know this growing up. In Kindergarten, she was berated and made fun of because of the way she looked with her tail and her horn. It made Liza cry and get angry. To the point where she about swallowed another kid. It only made matters worse for her. Her concerned parents talked to her about it and tried to explain to her that it was alright to be a bit different. But Liza didn't think so. from that day on, she made it a point to hide her tail and pass off her horn as a hair ornament and nothing more.
Being an only child, Liza saw some of her classmates have brothers and sisters. She asked why her parents why she didn't have one. This was an awkward question for the husband and wife who exchanged nervous glances with one another. Ultimately, her question went unanswered and made the girl painfully aware of just what it was like to be alone. Why couldn't she have a brother or sister like herself so she wouldn't be alone? She acted out for a bit which wound up getting her in trouble at school when she was 7. She was then introduced by the school counselor who had seen her plight. They showed her videos of heroes who rescued others and the strangest thing was that they were different like her but they loved them. They made a difference and were loved. Liza wanted that. She wanted to be like them and have their admiration. When she told her parents her newfound goal, they praised her which to Liza, was better than having a sibling.
From that point on, she took her classes seriously and developed at an incredible rate as far as intelligence was concerned. She was at the head of her classes and skipped a grade and then finally, she would receive an invitation to go to Japan's esteemed U.A. and become a student there. She had earned it after 7 years of hard work and dedication she still showed. Her parents were reluctant to let her go but this was her dream and she could take care of herself. Still, it was her father who wound up going out there with her whilst her mother remained at home. It was amazing! She could hardly contain herself when the application process began!
Unbeknownst to her during the entrance exam, she was also being graded for her ability to rescue those in danger. Much to her surprise, she scored 4th among all the students who applied and was ecstatic to see her rescue score outshines her battle one. It was proof to her that she has a future here.
Season 1
Liza had excelled in the ranks and managed to climb her way up into class 1-B despite her young age. But that meant she had to work even harder than most to make sure she kept that spot. Unfortunately, her training didn't allow for her to learn anything too new and exciting like most students in her class were able to do. She learned a bit from her upperclassmen but nothing too enlightening or gamechanging. She still fell behind and that frustrated her.
She got her chance in the school sports festival and managed to squeak by into the fighting matches wherein she triumphed over 1-A student Meisei Tachikawa by a most unconventional means by engulfing half of the mantis girl and spitting her out of the ring. She fell short in the second matchup against Emily Kramer but that only made her doubt herself even more. She fell behind again and there was no way of catching up. They were all so far ahead and it burned her up that she was still younger.
Now wasn't the time to wallow in self-pity and doubt. Second year was upon her and she had to step up now more than ever!
Quirk
Name
Komodo Dragon
Quirk Type: Mutant
Power: A most unusual quirk and for one so young. Her power and endurance become on scale with that of a Transformer with most of it centered around the tail she tries to conceal with skin as tough as chain mail. Not to mention her bite contains anticoagulants meaning that her bites take alot longer to heal than a normal wound would and could easily make targets bleed out. What's more is that her jaw and stomach have extended usage, capable of swallowing others to either trap them inside her or protect them for a short period of time(though she doesn't like doing it too often on account of how it, in her words, "hurts her tummy alot"). Furthermore, her tongue can act as another "eye" to sense the area around her, able to sense changes of vibration in the air or environment in general. Even the most subtle of changes cannot escape her sight. And of course, allows her to communicate with others of the lizard family. In addition, her body has an incredibly slow metabolism meaning she doesn't need to eat much at all. Lastly, her nails can extend out into claws used mainly for climbing but can become a weapon when she feels she needs to defend herself.
Supermove: N/A
Drawbacks: Because of her young age, she is inexperienced and only has a basic grasp of her Quirk. When using her insides to trap/protect others, she can only maintain the state for at most one to five minutes depending on the size of the person and cannot do it again afterward for at least an hour due to the stress that it puts on her body. She cannot sense anything that is standing totally still, making it invisible to her senses. What's more is that cold weather is lethal to her and slows down noticeably when the temperature drops.
Fighting Style: Having absolutely zero combat training, her fighting style is akin to that of any child her age who wantonly throws out punches, scratches, and kicks in self-defense or bites when she feels especially threatened. It's an erratic type of fighting and can easily be identified sometimes as a tantrum which isn't a false moniker. She'll also resort to using her tail which is honestly the strongest portion of her erratic style.
