Fractured Memory and Perception of Self- Narsa's been subjected to taking Petra's honey for an extended period of time. It's created some inconsistencies in what she knows to be fact and false. Not only this, but she seemingly taps into a different version of herself in times of dire need. As it pertains to everyday life Narsa can enjoy all the things she used to, but there are a few ptsd symptoms that linger. Due to her individualistic nature as an experiment, there were many times where she had to be contained and "remodeled." This causes a characteristic clash when it comes to her vigilante duties. In most cases, she's the hero and in others, she is still the hunter she was groomed to be... -in other words, a killer.
Artistic Prowess- She is a genius artist. So much so, she's garnered some attention from NYU while still only being a senior.
Green Thumb- Like her mother, she's loved by plants.
Experiment XJ435
Mutations- Narsa has been experimented on by the agency Hive to achieve abilities beyond that of human capability. While these mutations didn't bless her antennae, Narsa has gained an incredibly attuned nose attuned to identifying many things from smell alone. Her body has also become incredibly light without sacrificing bone structure, or her enhanced durability, agility, and strength. These alterations were made alongside using gene identifiers and other sinister methods to create her "evolution." (Her pollinations powers)
Colorburst Pollen- Using the pollen from a radioactive flower, and butterflies and moths as the carriers, the HIVE was able to give Narsa the ability to produce an iridescent powder. The aroma and color changes depending on the intended usage, and so does the chemical effect. These can be spread by typical means like physical touch or airborne dusting, but seem to work best when mixed with water-based solutions. If the gadgets she has aren't available she can just use saliva, blood, and sweat. It may be because these pollen creations come from her, but she is mostly immune to all of her colorbursts.
Tinkering- She's not the most technologically savvy, but her prowess as an artist and training in the HIVE allowed her to create useful gadgets. While they aren't as efficient or proficient as a true genius, she can make costume adjustments for others and even design new formats fairly well.
Weapons/Items:
Cell Phone- Self Explanatory
Retractable spears- Seemingly just a matte grey handle, but when a switch is flipped, a spiked end extends from it in the same was a switch blade ejects from it's handle. At full extension they are 3 feet, and when retracted they are a mere 9 inch tube. Typically she'll coat these in her pollen and use them as projectiles or a skewering weapon. They aren't immune to her chemicals but they are easy to replace. Two of these sit on her hip, and a few more are in her pouch.
Hip pouch- A medium sized bag, used to carry the bulks of her sprays.
Spray bomb- An orb-like can that can be thrown to hit an enemy with a bomb version of whatever pollen effect she deploys. There are sturdy enough to maintain form, but fragile enough to burst when colliding with a surface. They contain a simple water, and sulfur solution.
Neutral Spray Cans- Small canisters, not all that different than spray paint. With a spray of the water solution and a mix of her pollen, she can get whatever desired effect she wants. Some cans have a mist nozzle, while some others have a squirt nozzle.
Butterfly Kite- A hyper-functional flight mechanism, that can flutter and glide when shifting her weight correctly. It retracts and expands from a spine like fixture on her super suit. It's butterfly-shaped wings are made from clear smart fiber plastics and its own silk to achieve short-lived flight. With her lightweight body, she can use this item and traverse the skyline. The most impressive thing about this spine is that it can be removed and hang in the air as a literal kite until she reels it back to herself.
Appearance
Image:
Physical Appearance:
A small girl, only standing at 5'3 sports a petite figure. She's put enough training in the gym to kick some ass, but can't put on any major weight to save her life. Her long dark hair compliments her dark brown eyes and subtle features. Often mistaken for a kid, she'll throw on some makeup to bring a matureness to her look. On her shoulder is a geometric tattoo, that leads to a large map of space on her back.
Clothing and Armor:
While it might not always be the best for being presentable, she loves being comfortable. She can pull off a dress and heels but is a tomboy at heart. A pair of nice sneakers and some sweats go a long way with her. Whatever she has on, it's typically put together with a meticulous eye. Even when dressed up, she wants to turn heads with her impeccable sense of style.
Project Monarch-Her vigilante suit is a matte grey jumpsuit. Rather than something overly sleek, the materials for this trap dust and powders well. This gives off the illusion in combat that the bottom half shimmers iridescently, when it is in fact the very color-burst pollen her body produces. It's not different than a butterfly carrying pollen on their person as they travel flower to flower. Built into the spine of her suit is her butterfly kite, and at the hits are two big pouches to hold her gadgets. The fingers are clawed while the palms and feet are textured to assist with climbing and scaling buildings.
Personality
Sexual Orientation:
Bisexual
General Personality:
Narsa is a fun loving girl. She has a strong sense of duty to those around her, friends and family especially. At times this can cause her to be self conscious, and almost feel like other people's wants for her are restraints. This is mainly because she's the victim to other people's expectations, whether as herself, or as experiment XJ435. As the daughter of an immigrant and a lawyer it's expected that she be great. As a once prized experiment, not being great meant death. In a way this newly born vigilante she finds herself playing is a source of freedom. In the same way she finds inspiration and a hunger to create art, she holds an equal lust for action. Maybe it's because she's been groomed to the past year, or maybe it was always in her, but she can't deny these impulses. Narsa stays true to herself, whoever that may be. She's a promoter of good vibes, and giving off no ulterior motive. If she likes you, there's no other reason to be around you beyond that. It makes relationship building with others fairly easy and predictable, but it makes her struggle around folks with ill intentions. Not everyone keeps relationships as pure as she does.
There feels as though Narsa has two people stacked inside of her. Maybe it's more accurate to say there is a lock placed on an untapped part of her... -a part of her that is unacceptable to society. There are traits she gained and skills she honed in her time in captivity. Along with a few symptoms of ptsd, there are literal holes in her memory of being captured. There are also inconsistencies in her once uniform beliefs and morals. The phrase it one way, is that the Narsa she always is and presents is a tinted window. Looking out from the inside is a dangerous character who tugs at her need for freedom and action. It's as if she's got a passenger whispering to her as she drives through this thing called life. The scary part is, this passenger... this huntress of sorts, is every bit a part of her as being a student, artist, and daughter are.

History:
Welcome to Long Island
Narsa sat on the fire escape, a frustrated expression painting her face. She felt a jolt of surprise but quickly settled realizing it was her mother's hand softly resting on her shoulder. "I know it's hard moving but we aren't that far from your friends. You can still visit each other by train or bus, iha. It's not that bad. Plus you get to be closer to your dream college. "
"You keep saying the benefits for me, when we really moved to New York for Dad and his promotion. It's high school mom, it's like starting a whole new life when it's almost over. What am I gonna do about prom, and the senior trip? I know nobodyyyy." Narsa groaned. Nathalie kissed on the cheek and smiled. She wasn't taught to worry about the negative, so what was so scared of? Narsa knew that look and clammed up. "Yeah, I know..."
"Just be open to new things, iha. It's the big city, way bigger than Bayonne and Jersey City. Think of it as a new play ground." Narsa raised a finger, but Nathalie would continue before the girl could start up. "And, yes we've all been to New York before, but we haven't LIVED here and that counts for something. Let's try to adapt before making complaints, okay? " She'd pinch Narsa's cheek before heading back into the house to finish dinner. It would take the young girl long to think of something.
A few hours later, Narsa ran out of the house in a hurry. She read about this rooftop party in Brooklyn. All she had to do was catch a train and then transfer two stops after. She'd invite her friends from home, too. If she were lucky they'd all get there at the same time! "Going out! I'll be home later!"
"NARSA, school is in a few days you better not be out late. You need to learn to wake up earlier in case the train runs late. "
Pausing at the door, Narsa-"Define late..."
"Narsa." Nathalie didn't need to explain. She knew her daughter, and Narsa knew better than to play around in uncharted territory.
"Midnight, mom." With a big smile on her face. She'd say it twice to make it true. "Midnight."
Things you'd only see in some comic book
An explosion erupted just before reaching the train. It had to have been 11:30, and the streets of Brooklyn scrambled to find safety. Narsa found herself shoved out of the way. People were running for their lives, while others stared in awe. Things like this really happened here!?! Scrambling to get to her feet, Narsa whipped out her phone. It was a thoughtless act, really, almost a reflex. As she filmed, two people leapt from the roaring flame. Some sort of evil doer flying to escape, and hot on his tail was a spider dressed in all black. It finally sank in that she should probably get going, but by the time she reached the subway stairs, a chloroform soak tissue would be shoved in her face. A large mass of a man scope her up and well... everything went black after that. Her memory... Things just didn't line up. One minute she was partying the night away and the next...
Her body felt heavy, and the new environment she found herself felt like a completely different planet than where she'd previously just been. The floors were stark white, and the walls were glass. Above her was a vent of some sort, with fixed lights. It was like a test tube more than a cage. She hadn't bothered standing up. She knew she'd only fall right back down if she did. From a weak position, Narsa would only angle her head up. Where the hell am I? It's what she wanted to yell out, but fear took her voice away. Outside of her container, a blonde woman stood. Her eyes were cold and analyzing. Petra. That was this woman's name...-a name Narsa would learn over time. She would visit Narsa to "check progress" whatever that meant.
To be honest, the majority of the time spent in this chamber was a blur. Some of it didn't seem real... -and if it were Narsa found herself losing sight between hallucination and reality. She was fed the bare minimum: bread, fruits, honey, and water. As a kid who was used to the traditional home cooking of her Filipino mom, and the secret gem food spots in Jersey City and Bayonne. Narsa thought she'd become bones. The lack of food would kill her before these people did. When they did let her out the "incubator," as she learned it to be, it was to test her abilities. Some of these test were purely just to beat on her, while other tests were more honed in on identifying skills and natural asset. A young artist who barely touched the gym? Narsa expected the results to be dog water, but to her surprise, she was doing things far beyond what was possible for a human being. She felt strong and incredibly light. She never weighed much to begin with, but weighing only 70lbs and maintaining the same figure sounded like an impossibility. She was literally JUST 105lbs. They definitely did something to her, but why couldn't she remember. It only felt like a few days but it was obvious it had been more than that.
The oddest of her abilities was her ability to navigate with her eyes closed. Like a bug using their antennae, her sense of smell became so strong, she could practically feel and sense things based on smell. Direction, light, and placement. When isolated, her sense of smell could solve the issue far before she could recognize what was going on with her other senses. When coherent enough to finally ask what had been done to her, an analyst would plainly put it. From the vent above her head, moths and butterflies carrying the pollen of a highly radioactive plant would be released into the incubator and dust her. While the pollen was the main study, the other abilities were just a side effect. To be brutally honest, the analyst stated how expensive of a process this was... With these insects having such a short life cycle, the majority of them had died in the process, and it was why she never actually witnessed the radioactive pollination. So they were treating her like a flower?
Obviously, it was far more than that, but Narsa's only thoughts were on getting home. Now that they'd given her these powers, she'd have to fight her way out. It wouldn't be that easy, but Narsa was an honorary New Yorker by this time. She was tough! Things would get tougher as things shifted into the next phase. The organization had its own way of doing things. Honestly Narsa was never cut out to be a combatant, but training would fix that. She wasn't cut out for hunting down other humans, but training would fix that. Petra's methods. They were thorough. There seemed to be a simulation or drill for just about every situation. This place wasn't just for evolution, but to create more abductors and super soldiers. To those whose will were already broken, they'd fall right in line. They'd no longer question the cruelty or even the reasoning behind things. They'd only care about making it back alive... as if they weren't humans anymore. There were Petra's dolls.
To be brutally honest, Narsa found herself getting close. Her memory became fragments as she began losing her perception of time. How long had it been since she'd been home exactly? How long had it been since she'd seen her mother and father? Winter had already passed. She was supposed to graduate at 17... Had her birthday passed too? For some reason her memories go blank around this time. The most she can remember is someone screaming "After her!" as she raced passed bloodies bodies. Another gap in her memory... and then she was rushing down the streets of New York. Frantically, she'd run and run until police snatched her up.
"Normal"
Months later,
"Are you sure you wanna go to school by yourself, iha?" Nathalie had every right to be concerned. Narsa was gone for a whole year and some change. She was being admitted into school late, and due to the circumstances of being kidnapped, well, she was forced on a strict schedule. As far as it had been agreed upon, she was to go school, then to therapy, then to one of her jobs, then STRAIGHT HOME.
"Yep, I'm not gonna be able to function like a normal person, unless I started moving around like a normal person." There was a whole fucking huntress suit in her closet. She could create chemical warfare pollen, and small her way through a room if she blind... she was FAR from normal, and would never go back to it. She couldn't let her mother know of course. Maybe it was some psychological mumbo jumbo or maybe it was the honey but, she felt some odd sense of loyalty to not spread what was done to her. "And when do I get to start being a teenager again? The winter dance is coming up..." Not like she had anyone to ask her out. Part of this was to give her mom some confidence in her. She could only imagine the level of worry her and her father must have felt. Artas was usually quiet and to himself, but as of recent he was extremely affectionate whenever they were home at the same time. It was a nice change of pace honestly. Narsa really couldn't tell if she wanted things back to normal or not... The extra attention was lovely.
She would abide by her preset schedule to a T for first few weeks back but... the urge to go out and hunt at night... It clawed at the back of her head.

Mutations- Narsa has been experimented on by the agency Hive to achieve abilities beyond that of human capability. Silk White Spinner- On its own, it's just a powdery residue that becomes gummy when clumped together. With a little hydration, it can be spun into a silky thread. Her silk threads are sharp like piano wire, and are strong enough to lift 300lbs before snapping. Great for combat, emergency traversal, or area denial.
Metallic Blue Spark- A fast drying pollen, that jolts an enemy with taser-like sensations. As the chemicals release and mix with the air a live spark is created. Water extends the life of this live spark.
Flare Red Poison - An extremely combustible and corrosive effect is made from her red pollen when exposed to water and water based solutions. Misty sprays result in a combusting cloud, whilst splattered victims will experience micro explosions and ruptures wherever the solution lands. Less water makes for a faster detonation meaning a spritz will combust far faster than a splatter will.
Highest Purple Passion- An intoxicating pollen to send an enemy into a dizzied and extremely impaired(drunk-like) state when inhaled. The scent is strongest while not detectable by a human's nose. Those hit with this kind of pollen are the easiest to track.
Lovers' Pink Amor - A sweet scented powder that works as a love spell of sorts. An ecstasy-like sensation that usually gets people excited about the person nearest to them.
Energizing Green - A powder that creates a doping effect when ingested. With the incredible boost comes an incredible downer effect after.
