Weld nodded to Caitlin. "Thanks, Frost. I did get an old Jukebox with me, found it among some junk, maybe you could help me take a look if we can maybe fix it up?" He said. "Don't worry about the toaster; it should just need a few more minutes to absorb." It did show that the toaster had vanished further into his body.
Weld chuckled at Supergirl's reply. "That is important work. I would just have gotten stuck to the tanker and ended up sinking to the bottom of the ocean once I ripped myself off, and one of you would have had to fish me out." He made a pause, clearing his throat. "Again." His brow furrowed at her follow-up question, and he took a moment to think back on the events with the group. "Well, yeah, I'm not so good at that cult stuff. Looked like a cult; I came to this rundown building, and there were people inside in weird outfits." He examined Cara. Was she thinking there could be more to this cult? Maybe? "I did capture them before they could escape. It's all in the report I made for Robot."
Coincidentally, this was about when Robot arrived to introduce the new kid, the guy in green. Ben, that was a nice name, simple, short... easy to remember.
"Yo!" He greeted, giving the newest member one of his friendly grins, showing off his silvery teeth, taking a step forward and reaching out to offer his hand for a shake. "Names Weld, but you can call me Weld. A pleasure to meet ya, Ben10. Super alien fight, huh? Now that does sound cool." Ben would get from Weld that he did make a good impression on him, and he genuinely seemed to accept that, of course, Ben belonged there. He did pay attention to what Robot said and also knew the leader would not have accepted him unless he was fit for the team. He did give a small disapproving glare to the green-skinned boy playing on his phone, but decided not to comment, yet.
With the greeting done, he stepped back again, looking at Livewire's comment about the toaster. He shrugged his shoulders with a sheepish smile, "What can I say, Sparky? I wanted to be more like my hero... The Brave Little Toaster." After a moment, he chuckled again, shaking his head. "The weirdos I captured tried escaping in a van. They rammed me, wrecked their ride badly, and I ended up flying into a pile of junk; believe me, I was absolutely covered in stuff as I came to report, ask Robot. Thankfully, without the ride-on lawnmower."

Robot's matter-of-fact manner of operating was bound to provide an interesting dynamic for Ben. In fact, it reminded Max of himself. The guardian personality type. He knew they weren't at all alike aside from that fact, but Max remembered similar speeches and words of guidance he had given his grandson in the past. A rushing sense of pride came over him. Not uncommon, though also much more potent knowing that he could finally give Ben the chance to properly develop on his own.
When the subject of the RV came up again, Max was mostly satisfied with Robot's explanation. The curiosity from the youngsters made him chuckle though, so he decided to offer an answer right from the source. Max lifted his arm up while donning the expression of the warm, smiling grandfather he was often known to be.
"The Rust Bucket's my trusty RV! And she's tougher than she looks."
After the brief confirmation, Max softly smiled and chuckled at Ben's own introduction. His eagerness and confidence rarely wavered. It didn't seem entirely misplaced here. The others seemed welcoming enough. The real test would come when they would actually have to work together. Those situations would form them into a true team and decide how Ben would fit into it.
Max wasn't entirely finished here though. Remembering Robo's words, Max thought it was high time to let Ben into the wild, so to speak. He approached his grandson, placed a hand on Ben's shoulder, giving it a firm squeeze.
"Go get 'em, kiddo."
The elder Tennyson released his grip and went to find his old friend. From the whispered words, whatever Robo had to tell him, it sounded important. Max's expertise was typically saved for the important.
Despite having been a blur in most of their lives recently, Kara's appreciation of their seeming affection was warming to say the least. She was glad to know that there was a corner in this world, where she could show up and be as close to Kara as she could be. Ben being introduced brought a warm smile on her face. Rising heroes were something she especially empathized with. Having been one herself, she recognized his eager nature, not at all different from herself. Carlos' following comment was an expected one. Ben didn't look much, in a traditional sense, when visualizing a superhero. But she, too, noticed the watch on his wrist. Clearly the source of whatever powers he had, it looked both out of place and exactly fit Ben's image.
As for Carlos, Kara couldn't not respond to it. A comment that simply begged for a rebuttal.
"You're one to talk..."
A sly smile adorned her face, knowing that Carlos would catch on quick. Or not, which would also be on brand.
Kara's attention was pulled away for a moment by Caitlin. A reformed villain, that one. Something Kara always tried to strive for with those she could. A second chance was part of the human experience, despite what some might think. She still held firm onto that belief. So when she expressed interest in Kara's doings, Supergirl responded in kind.
"Superspeed helps with that sometimes. Buuuut even that gets exhausting. So... some kinks to work out with that, even now. What's new with you anyway?"
Her response was accented by a humorously awkward and sincere tone. Her reputation wasn't a secret among her teammates. Even less so with her status as, some would say, "A-List Superhero." She had never considered herself as such. Just a Kryptonian doing what she could for a planet that gave herself a second chance. If she had time, Kara would reminisce about Krypton and everything related to it, but that was made moot by Ben's proper introduction by himself. She noticed his gaze towards her. Nothing that she minded, particularly when she was glad to welcome another teammate into their ever-colourful roster.
"Nice to meet you, Ben! Can't wait to see you kick ass."
Kara shot a cheeky wink and a friendly wave towards the young hero. A method of admiration, hoping to put him at ease. She could hear his heartbeat and see that despite the confidence, the boy was nervous. He would be fine, she was sure of it. She didn't forget about Weld's limited details on the cult he faced either. Again, an intriguing prospect. Something that she felt they shouldn't ignore, should there be more incidents.
"Gotcha, good to know. I'll see if Robot thinks this might be worth investigating more. And... your powers just need finesse. I'm no expert, but I know a thing or two about control. Ask for help if you need it, Weld."
Supergirl's words echoed a wisdom that shouldn't have fit a person of her age. Yet, that's what they sounded like. A seasoned hero, trying to get her peers to the same destination. There wasn't a single hint of superiority or holier than thou attitude. Simply a friend offering a possible olive branch for a friend. In the meantime, Kara glanced at Robot, looking for a possible acknowledgement of what she mentioned to Weld, knowing he heard it. Robot likely had drawn his own conclusions already, but she knew he had to be convinced sometimes to actually look into a possible case. He had his own priorities, often those that differed from the ones his subordinates had.

”You may schedule another photograph appointment at any time. Like now.” There was that same click again, and then a beat of silence from Robot after no photograph emerged. ”That was a joke.”
The girl on the couch flicked the TV off with the remote. She had seen everything that she needed to (Captain Marvel kicking ass). She turned around and dangled off the side, waving at him with her other hand, which was normal. “Heya! I’m Ms. Marvel! But, you can call me Kamala. It’ll be nice to have someone my age around here.” She threw her voice over to the green sloth (metaphorical, not literal this time) hunched over his phone on the other end of the couch. He didn’t seem to hear her.
Kamala rubbed her chin. The girl suddenly had a look of fierce concentration. ”Hmm… “Ben 10”, huh? Does that mean you’re the tenth clone of a superhero line of Ben’s? Oh, oh, is it because your powers are 10 out of 10? Oooooor are you from space? Have I seen you on TV? This one time…”
Carlos was ready to make another remark, but the words died in his throat when Kara shot back. What would have been his rebuttal turned into a clearing of his throat that was anything but subtle. ”I’m- I’m, uhh, I’m gonna shower now okaybye” Carlos had already been slowly walking back towards the showers, but now he was in full swing with his exit. He had made enough of a fool of himself, and that hadn’t been his intent to begin with. The lobby was getting crowded, anyway.
Robo had gone back outside. Jakita had been quick to follow him. She wouldn’t have been able to stomach those kids for much longer. He left her to her own devices. Though their business was concluded, there was one more conversation Robo needed to have. She had already gone back to Tesladyne without him. That was fine by Robo. Jakita preferred to do things alone anyway. Robo was more of a team player.
The atomic robot was standing over by the Rust Bucket. He was looking it over with pride. This thing had saved his bacon on at least a few different occasions. He was wondering if it was still up to snuff, what with what everyone else was packing these days. If Leslie’s snark was anything to go by, then Robo had nothing to fear.
”That thing on his wrist. Is it what I think it is?” For someone his size, Max’s presence could be nonexistent if he wanted to. Robo’s lenses glanced in Max's direction as he approached, then back to the van.

Caitlin looked at the toaster again as Weld mentioned collaborating fixing an antique. "Sounds like fun, I always loved messing around with old tech." She said before looking back to Supergirl. "I've spent the last few weeks trying to keep my room a toasty temperature so I don't have to even thing about absorbing heat. Basically I built an industrial furnace that now does not backflow into the building's duct work..." Frost held to glance around to see if anyone was still sore about the incident. "But aside from that, my Dad finally lost it and killed my Mom before offing himself. All of the paperwork and mail I've been getting lately has been a nightmare." Caitlin said as if she were talking about the weather, completely straight faced as she finally decided to rummage through the cabinets for something to snack on.

She briefly snorted at the reference to the old cartoon. "Yeah that would do it." Leslie said as she avoided the temptation to see if the the toaster would even still function if she gave it a little tap. She noticed Supergirl was actually sticking around instead of being on a clock like a high strung college girl that seemed like she didn't have time to go between glasses. Her attention was drawn back with everyone still going on about their new recruit, even Kamala snapped her attention away from fangirling for 5 minutes to bombard Ben with questions. Her inner thoughts got the better of her, she had to add herself into this. "Nah, it has something to do with his fancy timepiece, full of some odd energy. Maybe its 10 minutes of some kind of ability?" Leslie said as she pointed at the green glow of the watch. It was so alien to her, she couldn't even gauge how much energy was packed into that small thing.

"W-Whoa whoa, easy! I'll get to it! W-Wait, you're Ms. Marvel?! Oh god this is so cool! First Supergirl, now Ms. Marvel! This is soooooooooo cool~!"
Ben couldn't help but get a dumb grin on his face, realizing that he was being greeted by two of some of the more iconic superheroes in media! He had been shocked enough to see Supergirl here, but Ms. Marvel too?! He could not help but to let that inner child out once more, giddiness welling up inside him before he was about to collect himself and explain his title and powers... but then another girl could be heard speaking up;
"Nah, it has something to do with his fancy timepiece, full of some odd energy. Maybe it's 10 minutes of some kind of ability?"
Well, that was quickly deducted of the girl. He'd turn briefly to Leslie with a bit of a cocked brow, wondering just how the hell she figured it out, but he'd quickly just play into it.
"U-Uh... y-yeah! What she said! The name comes from this thing! It's an alien device called the 'Omnitrix'! Grandpa Max told me that it's a, uh... 'genetic library' if you wanna call it that, basically storing the DNA strains of a bunch of different alien races! And all I gotta do is dial in one of the aliens who's DNA is stored inside this, slam the button down, and I'll inject myself with the genetic data of that alien and transform into one of their race! Pretty neat huh? But uh, yeah... only lasts for 10 minutes. Plus I was 10 years old when I discovered it, that's uh... another reason for my title of 'Ben 10'..."

Weld's silvery eyes slowly drifted around at the different people talking; it was very nice when so many of the group were in the same place, making it easier. He absentmindedly adjusted the headset, putting it around his neck instead, as Kara spoke, only really replying when she commented about the supposed cultists and... other things. "Appreciated," he said with a sparkling smile. "I can use impurities to coat myself; it usually helps me get by without accidentally absorbing cutlery or someone's wedding band." He cleared his throat. "Still, one should always strive for improvements."
"Sounds like fun; I always loved messing around with old tech.
He smiled even wider when Caitlin said she would agree to look at the old jukebox. "Awesome, it's a beauty, I think you'll like it. I'm no expert, but I think it might be one of those old models from the '60s. It looked mostly intact, but I did not want to open it and look inside; I did not want to risk making a mess."
More of the toaster had now disappeared inside his body, so it would most likely be gone in another few minutes or so.
Most of the focus was, naturally, on the newest member of the team, Ben and his mysterious clock-thing. Weld curiously watched the Omnitrix, and he did not get much of it, at least not the science part. "So, does it let you turn into different kinds of aliens?" Weld asked, tilting his head to the left. "That's neat, for sure. Might I say it sounds like... 10 out of 10?" He grinned at his very bad joke. Ben seemed very... star-struck to be there, which was... a little cute, maybe? Weld glanced over towards Beast Boy. Caged to his phone, he lowered his voice so only those closest could hear. " And the guy on the couch is Garfield, a shapeshifter, too, but he does animals. It might be good for him to get competition in that department. Excuse me..." Weld winked at Ben before sauntering over to the couch. "Kamala." He said as he passed Miss Marvel, stopping once he reached Garfield, visibly stuck in his own world.
"Gar!!" He called out. "You're being rude, and if you don't put that thing away, I will eat it."

Following Robo outside the compound, he caught the glance that could be interpreted as a gleam from Robo's expressive eyes. The Rust Bucket was like family, as much as an old RV could be. But the time for nostalgic musings was for a later time. Robo's question was tinted with seeming concern. Or maybe it was just curiosity. Either way, Max was about to find out.
"The Omnitrix, yes. Not exactly a secret, knowing how Ben has the habit of telling everyone about it."
Max looked down at Robo, trying to gain a clearer understanding of his query. Indeed, next to Max, Robo seemed almost like Ben, though the robot managed to be surprisingly intimidating if he chose. Lucky for them all that he had the personality of a friendly uncle.
"I've known you too long to not notice when you worry. If it's something about the watch or Ben, you need to tell me."
His paternal instincts kicked in. He wasn't sure if it was something to actually worry about, but then again, Max was always worried about Ben. Especially when he didn't need to.
Kara chuckled when Carlos made his unceremonious exit. She liked teasing him like that, it came from experience. Needless to say that her and Alex were like that constantly. Well, as long as they didn't let their teenage angst get in the way. She gave him a brief and friendly wave, before turning back to Caitlin. Hearing her reminded Kara that she was talking to a certified genius. It's funny, when you work with geniuses all the time. You start to understand some of the jargon and it also just blends into the background. So when in the company where most are teenagers, no matter how smart, the presence of an actual scientist sticks out. Kara understood that her experiment had some unwanted side-effects, but nothing that most couldn't brush off.
It was the casual mentioning of her family life that caught Kara off guard.
Her eyes widened, she didn't say anything yet, but her mind was clearly stuttering. She had never been all too close with Frost, but wasn't going to skimp on empathy when it was needed.
"Oh, Caitlin I'm so sorry. Have you... talked to anyone about it?"
Kara was sure she would get her gist. She wasn't sure how the question would play over nor was she sure if perhaps Caitlin had already talked to someone close or a professional. Supergirl didn't want to pry any further and at the same time, she wouldn't think of going elsewhere unless Frost asked her to. Close or not, this team looked out for one another. She had the thought of talking more to Ben, but seeing as he was more than occupied with everyone else, Kara was determined to give her undivided attention to Caitlin.

Kamala's head snapped over in Weld's direction. She pointed at him dramatically, short of screaming at him. Captain Marvel had been talking with her about using her "inside voice"... but that was a really good joke! Because she had just said it! Kamala beamed at him as he walked by her. Weld was so cool. Gar was so going to get it.
Wait, hold on. Kamala turned her attention back to Ben, wide-eyed. "That happened to you when you were ten? How long have you been playing hero? I just started!"
"My records indicate that Ben 10 has been operating for five years, eleven days, four hours, and fifty three minutes. And counting." Robot chimed in, raising his volume slightly to make sure that he was heard among the din of conversation. Things were busy today, even without all of the members gathered. He looked at Ben as he spoke, keeping his hands held behind his back. "I have received reports in the past about your activities in the Midwest, but this will be my first time working with you personally. I look forward to seeing what you can do."
"Agh!" Garfield looked up at Weld, startled and a little annoyed. Weld was by far his senior, but that didn't mean he had to like it. The boy grumbled, holding the phone to his chest. "I just woke up. Gimme a break." He looked over at all the people standing with Ben, his face apprehensive. "He's got enough people to talk to, doesn't he? I'll talk to him later."
Robo turned to face Max directly, looking up at him. Given his short height, Robo did that with most people, but with Max especially. He was like a gentle giant... though, Robo had known him long enough that he could be anything but gentle when you got on his bad side. His lenses pivoted into an expressive "smile" - he didn't exactly have a mouth to emote with. "Is it anything you haven't heard before? A lot of people want that kind of tech, and we've both protected Ben from them. That probably won't ever change."
Robo folded his arms. That wasn't quite it, though. "You've been studying that watch for years now. Are you any closer to figuring out how it works? Where it came from?"
That wasn't quite it, either. Robo was a straight shooter, but he was never good at questioning his friends. It wasn't even questioning, it was just... talking was hard.

Caitlyn tilted her head as Kara she expressed sympathies over her parents, unsure how to react as her parents didn't really deserve any. "Thank you, but I'm fine. I basically got emancipated from them when I was 10, got taken in by academic peers until I was an adult. They didn't provide... a good house for a kid to be in." She said, briefly looking shaken by a distant memory as she rubbed one of her arms. "I did bump into them a few times before the accident, but when I changed... I think I let go of them entirely for awhile. When I got out of my spiral and got offered this as parole, I thought about starting over with them but I'm honestly glad that I didn't have to put myself through that." She said, still a bit off center from her normally cool self. "I still get money from a few of my patents, so I'm probably going keep the house and maybe put it out for vacation rental."

Leslie’s eyes narrowed as she was able to see Ben up closer, noticing Omnitrix’s face. A few dots suddenly connected in her head, remembering a few of the people on her podcast’s forums talking about an odd hero in the Midwest, linking the different looking appearances together with an odd circular symbol on the body. They had pieced a theory together from various images curated from surveillance cameras and bystander footage. She stepped closer and leaned in, her vision tracing over the details on the watch's face confirming their theory on them all being linked. “Ah! I know who you are. You’re the Midwest Monster Mashup Man!” Leslie snapped her fingers and laughed as she stood back up straight. “Or at least that's what the nuts on my podcast’s forums called you. One of your forms is a big red guy with 2 extra arms right?” She grinned, sure of herself.

"Hah hah, yeah I get it, '10 out of 10', heard that one before... still, it's a good one!" Ben smirks over at Weld from his pun, showing it was not in bad taste. He felt like he could get along with the metal-man, so long as that body of his did not merge with the Omnitrix like it had merged with that toaster. He wondered if it was limited to what type of tech he could merge... if it had to be terrestrial or if it could include alien tech. A small nod was also given to Robot as he expressed his eagerness to work with him personally, and he gave a quick salute afterwards. After all, it seems this 'Robot' guy was their boss, more or less. And Old Man Max had taught him a thing or two about respect lately. To look back and imagine how his 10-year old self would act in a group like this... made him flinch a bit.
"Ah! I know who you are. You're the Midwest Monster Mashup Man!"
Again, Leslie seemed more informed than usual, speaking about people on podcasts and forums, and he just gawked a bit. Just how many frickin' people knew about his identity?! Had he been THAT reckless as a kid?! Leslie's outburst caused him to visibly groan and bury his face in one of his hands, dragging it down his face a bit in embarrassment. "Y-Yeah... Yeah, that's me. The... Midwest Monster Mashup Man? Are you for real? That is SUCH a lame superhero title! They could at least have given me something quirky and short!" ... But in the end, it did not seem to affect him too much, as he swung right back into just riding with it.
"Oh, yeah! That's one of my forms! A species known as 'Tetramand', I think Max called 'em. But I just call him 'Four-Arms'! Get it? Cause he's got 'four arms', but it's also a play on 'forearms'!"

"Good jokes are like nice music; you can enjoy them several times, but it's better not to repeat them too often." Weld grinned at Ben's comment and clearly must have heard the joke before; Weld felt that Ben might have made it himself or a version of it. The guy did seem the type in the best possible way. "I'll have to think of something pun-able you have not heard yet." It felt like a fun way to get to know Ben or at least break the ice if he could figure out other Ten-related puns.
Weld gave Kamala a wink when she pointed at him dramatically, and he did not have to guess that she must have been hatching a similar joke.
As for Garfield...
"Well, you're wide awake now." He said, following Beast Boy's eyes as he looked over to Ben, surrounded by some of the others. He returned his attention to Beast Boy. "Yeah, suppose you're right." He made a pause, examining the green boy. The team was important for Weld because he had nothing else, no memories of who he was. Still, he was not one to push it, and as long as Beast Boy said he would talk to Ben later, he would leave it at that. "So, how have you been, Gar? I would sit down, but I don't want to break the couch again." He was referring to a previous incident when he accidentally broke another couch by sitting down, causing it to snap in half and sending everyone on it tumbling into him.

Robo wasn't wrong. For the entire time that Ben had had the watch, all sorts of folks popped up to try and get the tech from him. So much so that Max felt the need to come out of his retirement and use whatever Plumber resources he still had access to in order to protect him. The same went for Gwen, though she had always been able to take care of herself better than... either Ben or Max, frankly. She was now chasing her own dreams, yet remained on-call whenever needed. Those three were inseparable in that way. Always there for one another. And Max was going to protect them until his dying breath. Even when it didn't seem like either of them needed it.
"That's why I brought him here. He needs more than just us now. He needs... different perspectives. A way to come into his own."
Max seldom didn't have a look of worry when talking about Ben, especially when they weren't going to be travelling together too often anymore. It was instinctual. Even then, he wasn't going to be far behind. His expression then changed into one of focus as Robo asked him of their progress with the watch.
"Well, we know it bonds to the user's DNA. It's impossible to get it off without some real juiced up power or a special device. It acts as a library of sorts, holding samples of... we don't know how many aliens. But there are a lot. So the ones Ben can use aren't at all the only ones stored there. He just can't access the rest. Otherwise? Still a mystery. It has other uses, but those seem to require knowledge or clearance we don't have."
The man rubbed his forehead as he spoke, the secrets of the Omnitrix clearly being something he has lost a lot of sleep over. After all those years, he knew too little of the watch, despite having seen it in action countless times. Max wasn't even sure he wanted to know more. Who knows what the watch was still hiding. Could be something beneficial. Could be something that could harm Ben. The boy was definitely more enthusiastic than he was. Max just hoped that Ben knew the risks, should he attempt to discover the watch's mysteries on his own.
"We actually met its creator once. Azmuth, a Galvan. Ben can turn into one of them too. Really smart fellas, met some of them during my Plumber days. Annoyingly secretive though. We tried getting as much information out of Azmuth as possible, but he was tight-lipped. Only scolded Ben for using the watch wrong. Haven't seen him since. So... we haven't made too much progress."
He wouldn't typically speak of his previous job that publicly. But he was years past caring about a task force that didn't exist anymore (not that it officially ever did). And he knew these premises were safe enough. Max's admittance of their lack of developments wasn't exactly one of defeat. More one of relief, perhaps. What they were working with was enough for Max. That being said, he wasn't going to dismiss possible discoveries in the future. As much danger as the Omnitrix presented, knowing its workings was one way to keep both Ben and the watch safe.
Kara listened to Caitlin attentively. Her nonchalant way of speech remained strange, but there were clear signs of acceptance and, more importantly, strength behind her words. She had been through a lot and survived. All the while turning a new leaf. It was commendable in the highest manner. Kara's soft smile was evident, feeling an increasing sense of trust between the two. Caitlin had a good head on her, aside from the super intelligence. Perhaps it was good that she could also be relatively objective about these matters. Not that Kara could relate, her emotions an imperative part of who she was.
"You've been through a lot and come out the other side so much stronger. I'm really glad you're here with us, Caitlin."
She would've offered a hug. Her uncertainty at that kind of contact made Kara not act on it, however.
In the midst of this, her ears caught the mention of a Tetramand. Kara had heard the name before. Hadn't met any of the species though. That notwithstanding, it sprung an idea. She turned to Ben's general direction, raising her voice enough that he'd be sure to hear her.
"Hey Ben! Wanna show us whatcha got? Should have some impressive aliens in that roster, I bet."
It was by no means a challenge by Kara. More a request for a showcase from the team's resident alien. Besides, the others would probably like seeing the newcomer's talents.

Robo's lens "opened" wide at this development. His right hand reached aroun his neck, clasping tightly around his head. "This is the first I'm hearing about that! Gadzooks." Robo's arm slackened, though maintained its position. His "mind" was racing. If he was a Galvan...? Robo wasn't even sure what that could mean. Only that they weren't even through the tip of the iceberg on this. He didn't say anything else for a while, stewing in his own thoughts for a time. Once he had taken some time to process, Robo's expression became pensive again. Guarded. "Was... was that just your family?"
Robo's arm lowered back to join his other, folded against his chest. How that office shirt fit his frame was anyone's guess. "Or was that with other company, too?"
Garfield gave Weld an annoyed look. He was painfully familiar with the last couch incident, and he didn't want a repeat of that so soon. "I've been... fine."
He avoided eye contact with his metal friend. Garfield fidgeted in place. He kept that up at first, then eventually relented. Weld wasn't going to leave him alone until he gave him something, was he? He was a good friend annoying like that. Garfield looks down at his feet. He wasn't wearing any shoes. He hadn't worn shoes in a long time.
"I miss her, ya know."
"No. WAY."
Kamala finished removing herself from the couch and joined the group around Ben. Her fists were clenched tight in front of her. She looked like she was vibrating. "You GOTTA show me! Us! You gotta show us what your watch thingy can do! Can we take pictures? If, uhh, that's okay, I mean, you just got here and all, but-"
Robot cleared his throat, cutting off Kamala's tangent. It was best not to let her scare their new member... too much, that is. "Tetramand. A species known for their strength and tenacity.
