Sherman Hills was a farmer’s market located off the coast of Prairie Island located in the West Blue. While the place was not a major bustling town, it was a fairly large market that could be mistaken for one, if it were not for the fact that very few places were actual houses to be lived in. Most were either general goods stores, blacksmiths, carpenters, shipyards, or outdoor stalls where people dealt mostly in food, things to make food, things to grow crops, things to repair broken tools, and of course the necessary trades for any shoreline business. Anything from apples and grains, to pumpkins and corn were sold; though meat was also a common thing to see, usually either cured, smoked, or turned into jerky for the everyday sailor to at least have some meat on their journey over the waters of the West blue. The competitive market, as well as the fact that Sherman Hill provided food for most of the west blue thanks to Prairie Island’s mass which allowed for such farms to be created thanks to its fertile ground and relatively flat land which made cultivation easy. Even the rains seemed to come at the perfect time every year, a farmer’s paradise for any who lived in the West Blue, but the problem always came down to the fact that if you weren’t already a land owner on the island, you were basically forced to be a farm hand, often being paid barely enough to live, and usually at the additional expense of room and board on said farms.
While slavery had indeed been outlawed, that didn’t mean that unfair practices weren’t being used that substituted it.
Several ships had recently arrived, most were merchant cargo vessel that had traveled safely on its voyage to Sherman Hills. As the men moored the ship, and set down the gang plank; men and women who were aboard were beginning to lift boxes and barrels of various things to place upon the docks for final inventory checking. Parsley had been doing something, though no one knew what it was aside from herself. Though one thing was certain. She needed to find her parents, as well as a way to reach the Grand Line. How she did that was up to her, but she couldn’t stay in one place for too long. Her past with the marines had ended up with her having a bounty upon her head, and while she could do various things to avoid capture she would never know immediately how close she was to being caught by the hand of the law.

Parsley had made it this far by limiting her exposure to the general public. Thanks to her Devil Fruit, it was easy to avoid being seen. She travelled easily enough by being small and unnoticeable for the most part. When food was needed, taking nibbles from produce was enough to fill her while shrunken. It wasn't easy but she was making steady progress through travelling from island to island as a stowaway.
She had made the most of her time on Prairie Island and felt remiss about having to leave. it was the closest place like home for her what with the local farms. Watching all of these men and women work hard to make a living brought a wonderful feeling in her heart. It was a shame she could only help in secret when it counted. There was a time of famine when she arrived but thanks to what the community believed to be a miracle was Parsley working her own experience upon the land when the sun went down. She had become a local legend of sorts; the Moonlit Harvest Beast. All she had done was give the folk here a little push and leave clues on how to properly cultivate the land just a mite bit better.
But if she stayed any longer, she'd definitely draw attention to herself and the ship arriving was her ticket out of here. She didn't know where she'd wind up but it was going to be one step closer to her parents...or so she hoped for.
She darted between barrels and crates, eying the ship in the process. If she could get aboard, it would be smooth sailing...in a sense of the word. She'd usually hid in the exports and this time would be no different. There'd be one open crate full of veggies that she wasted no time diving straight into right before it would hopefully be picked up and placed upon the vessel.

As Parsley in her shrunken form moved from box to box, looking for a chance and opening to enter and stow away once more; she'd be oblivious to something that for a while now had been following her silently, it's eyes gleaming like mirrors in the shade of the various stalls....
Eventually, Parsley would find a spot that seemed perfect, a box that was fully loaded with exotic fruits being traded for nearly three times as many tangerines. Tangerines were one of the required staples that prevented scurvy; and while it's valuable need kept it's market price up; it only seemed ridiculous that this many were being traded for what she was seeing. Still, the two making the business deal seemed to be arguing, with the buyer obviously telling the benefits of his exotic fruits and how the man could easily gain a profit from selling them. The farmer looked skeptical, debating that even so three times the exchange was pricey; and holding one up he was inspecting it as though trying to decipher it's true value by staring hard enough at it.
Parsley could either try to hop into one of the boxes depending on how she thought the transaction would go... OR she could attempt to find a more secure trade; though such transactions happened quickly with regulars and her windows of opportunities would be even smaller.

In her experience, fruits was an indispensable out on the open sea. Especially such a treasure as tangerines. Being raised around farming herself and knowing the benefits of the produce she and her family cultivated, she knew anyone who passed on a deal for fruits like tangerines was an utter fool. Who cares if the price was hiked up? It wasn't worth the illness that would be soon to follow. But they were offering such exotic fruits for them. Deals like these were difficult calls. On one hand, the ship needed tangerines. But on the other, the farmer needed to make a living and getting a fair trade was paramount.
She wanted to help steer this in a direction that both helped her AND the farmer themself. But that would mean showing herself and risk being found out. Eying the fruit from this distance, they were telling the truth.
With a whisper, she'd call out "Take the deal. It's worth it." Hiding from view all the while.

The farmer scowled at the ship farer, seemingly unsure if he was being played, before he heard something whispered to him nearby. "Take the deal, It's worth it." His face shifted from being unsure, to alert, though he didn't dare to look for the voice to avoid looking crazy. Over the last few weeks, he had heard of it, a disembodied voice that seemed to give amazing farming advice throughout the island. While he hadn't heard it, he was certain that this was that urban legened he heard of. Anyone who heard and followed the advice of the voice had ended up having an excellent harvest, as he smiled. Maybe he could plant and cultivate these exotic fruits. It was a sign from the "Gardener's Voice!"
"Alright then. I'll take the deal. That there box of fruits in exchange for three boxes of Tangerines." The farmer stated, as he held out his hand. The sailor looked ecstatic as he quickly grabbed the farmer's hand, "Thank you sir! I know you can sell these for a BIG PROFIT!" The sailor stated, as he grabbed two of the three boxes of citric fruits. "Can you hold onto that box for a bit while I get this back to my ship? It'll be just for a few minutes." The farmer nodded, waving the man away, "A deal's a deal. I'll keep an eye, but if you got anything else, let me know."
Success! Parsley would find that she not only had helped a sailor get plenty of useful fruit that was needed, but had also seemingly made the Farmer happy. What's more, there was now a crate of fruit she could slip into if she avoided being spotted. The farmer took the box of tangerines and slid them under his stall, making sure that no one would try to snatch it, as he took the box of exotic fruits and began to cover it with a tarp, distracting him as he did so. Of course, things weren't that simple, as Parsley would feel something breathing on the back of her neck, her Minx battle instincts kicking into high gear as she realized something was wrong.

Seeing such a wonderful transaction with produce made the farmer's spirit in her heart sing with joy. There was no finer joy than seeing someone's hard work bearing...well...fruit. The mink gave a small smile and saw her chance to press forward and away from here. But something wasn't quite right. Not at all! Her ears perked up and her nose twitched. Her haunches clenched up and her shoulders tensed up.
She didn't hesitate and made abound for it while turning mid-leap to get a glimpse at whatever was stalking her. It's not like smaller creatures were dangerous on the usual. But in this size, they were a threat. She had assumed it was a predator that mistook her for its usual prey. But then she realized she was in a rather public place and trying to even the odds would give away herself very easily. Nevertheless, she faced her danger with a fierce look.

Parsley would barely hop away when the sound of something whiffing through the air was heard! Missing her by mere centimeters! Turning to face her opponent, the Rabbit Minx would spot her opponent, a fairly large black cat! The creature's golden eyes centered by full circles of black, as the predator was taking in as much as it could. Parsley could get into the box sure, but then the cat would likely follow her. Considering the deal made, the Farmer might mistaken that the cat was chasing a rat or mouse into the crate, so Parsley would need to do something to either lose or discourage the feline from performing it's usual duties!
The cat barely held back, raising on it's haunches to deliver a powerful swat to Parsley, attempting to bat her down to corner her!
