Hubble B Nostra, a member of the aristocratic Nostra family who were influential in the East Blue. While the family had connections and were usually accepted as functional members, Hubble herself only had one calling, which meant she was ultimately the odd one out. Thankfully, a member of the World Government, specifically in the research and development department had noticed her strange yet amazing mind, and fascination with round objects. For that reason, he had offered a job for her, and with her family’s approval given only because it would further increase their status as an aristocratic family with connections to the World Government; they accepted.
Over several years, the girl would find herself in one location or another. Most of her research was performed in the grand line or various blues, and most were of ruins. Despite her fascination and obsession of the aliens that she desired to find evidence for, her work ultimately concluded with her clarifying what wasn’t alien. Her co-workers were quick to pick up those bits that she discarded, taking credit and stating that she was their primary analysis, despite her doing most of the work. This led her to be ignored; and allowed her more freedom in a sense, despite the fact that her colleagues called her a Bubblehead. Her feelings towards this treatment was unknown to the scientists, but more than that was the fact that recently Hubble had noticed something strange.
Many of the ruins she had researched upon had one common denominator. The mentioning of shapes in the skies. Specifically within the clouds. That of circles, or islands, or people with wings. These things mostly coincided with something rising or falling, though the scientists stated and emphasized that it was not something she should take as a literal meaning. “They are talking of the rise and fall of a civilization. The action of becoming a strong nation or island, and then being reduced to ruin for various reasons. If you take everything literally Bubblehead Hubble then you’re going to be considered the laughing stock of this group until the day you retire.” Largo Bulivor stated, a scientist who focused on compiling her information into “useful” and “useless” argued as he cut and divided her thesis papers and split them apart. He was an assistant, yet even he was respected more compared to herself.
Of course, eventually, something interesting had to happen……
Their most recent expedition had landed them on Half Moon Island, a remote place within the South Blue that was perfectly shaped like a half circle despite the fact that such a phenomenon shouldn’t have been possible. The ruins were for the most part, located within a dense jungle; and while a majority of life on this island was harmless, the Marines that acted as their body guards and their captain, Miguel Huris stood watch. Hubble’s Colleagues were currently on lunch break, eating various things collected or made by themselves or the guards who provided such things. Of course, whatever Hubble was doing the other colleagues didn’t care. The faster she completed her Bubble headed theories, the faster they would be able to leave this humid bubble of problems.
Miguel on the other hand was diligent, the marine with a slicked back brown hair and ponytail walked up to the group, his square face looking more like that of a stone statue that was ruined and on the ground a few yards away than the average person. Looking at each of them, Miguel suddenly looked perplexed. “Where is Hubble Nostra?” He asked, unsure if the scientist had once again wandered off into the ruins, or if she was just somewhere out of his immediate sight. She was small compared to most adults there, so he leaned to and fro, as he searched to see if maybe she was eating food in the shadow of another scientist.

The search for Hubble in the immediate area would prove fruitless as she had found herself amidst the canopy of the trees...admiring the round fruits that decorated its foliage. Her eyes were as wide as the fruits she turned between her fingertips. She was completely and unequivocally oblivious to all else in the world right now. The bright magenta succulent was a tremendous find and the most interesting thing of note on the island thus far. All the statues had been square-shaped; unworthy of her attention. But these fruits in the trees? Oh, they were the find of the century in her eyes! While the island's shape had been half circular, there were perfectly circular fruits on the island itself. Perhaps there was an unknown reason why this was? She had to know more.
"Ahhh maybe the island was full at one point to signify the abundance of this fruit. Such perfect dimensions with barely a 5% deviation from fruit to fruit in design. Simply fascinating! " She spoke out loud to no one in particular but herself. Theories danced in her head feverishly the more she observed the round things. SO round. So perfect! All the naysaying were supplanted by the mysteries of the world beyond the skies and beyond even that. The Mahatmas had to exist! They DID exist! How else could such a shape as perfect as the sphere and the circle exist in nature? There was no way! The higher powers existed out there somewhere...and she was determined to prove their existence.
The thought never occurred to her that she had traipsed, nay floated away from her group and left them by their lonesome. They'd be fine without her because they seemed quite happy whenever she departed their presence. At least that was how Hubble saw it. So when she got bored of the lesser shapes the ruin presented, she scampered away to the trees in lieu of the superior shape; the sphere. It wasn't part of the ruins but it was round and told a story she was slowly piecing together.
She didn't even notice she had done so. Such thoughts were distant as she drew and made notes in her research book about the fruits. She was penning many names down in the notes on what to call them, how they might taste, etc.
Nothing could possibly steal away her gaze away.

While perhaps nothing could normally pry her attention from organic shape, following the lines of the fruit she was so fascinated with, Hubble would eventually notice that her eye was suddenly drawn to something else just behind it. While she had normally been on the ground in the square and boring ruins that evaded her observations; she hadn't noticed from the birds eye view she was taking thanks to her devil fruit's power that she had not noticed it before. Despite the density of the jungle; there was a faint path; overgrown mostly, but stone that was circled and shaped to fact as a path were seen in patches... patches that seemed to curve ever so slightly inwards. No waviness to them as though someone was maneuvering through a dense jungle path, but a path that could be followed.
If Hubble were to look behind her on the ground, she'd see the same thing. There was coincidences, and perhaps her colleagues could even continue to state as such; but her mind would recognize the pattern as a curvature, the signs of a possible circle. Normally she'd be able to fly up using her Float Float powers; but the canopy above her was far too thick, and would obscure her view if she flew any higher. She could follow the said path; or perhaps she could bring her colleagues along since she had possibly found another clue that she could try to use and convince them.
Meanwhile Miguel was irritated as he began to storm through the foliage of the jungle, using his cutlass to carve a path as he yelled out. "HUBBLE! HUBBLE NOSTRA! ANSWER ME THIS INSTANT!" His voice rang through the jungle before being quickly muted by the density of it; barely heard by the girl if she even could hear it beyond her fascination. OF COURSE the only quack that he was looking for was that airheaded girl who seemed to be the only reason he was stick with those useless individuals. Miguel had cursed them out; with only the assistant even knowing generally where she had decided to float off towards. It'd be just his luck if she got eaten by a giant snake or snatched out of the air by a big cat due to her carelessness. He'd have to scour this entire jungle, not only for her body; but eventually to find the Float Float fruit that would no doubt be the more important issue. As a Devil Hunter; Miguel was assigned to keep an eye on Hubble B. Nostra since she had accidentally ate the devil fruit. It wasn't hard at first. The young girl had seemed fairly quiet; but as he got to know the girl turning woman he realized she was truly crazy.
"Stay with the aristocrat, it'll be an easy job they said." Miguel mocked with a high voice the advice given to him when he had been offered the job. "Make sure she doesn't use it for evil or get kidnapped or become a pirate. She's just a spoiled brat.... Spoiled my ASS! She's been a thorn in my side since she learned how to fly!" Miguel swung as he continued on, occasionally looking upwards to try and spot the weirdly dressed girl.
If Hubble decided to return to share her findings, she'd spot her caretaker and guard for the group below first before anyone else, though she wouldn't have been able to hear any of his complains.

As much as she loved finding out about a truly attractive circular pattern, sharing her knowledge of it was going to feel even better! Keeping knowledge was just not done! Her colleagues just HAD to know! She pocketed a fruit to study later then, using her power, coasted off of the tree and back the way she came with an eager grin on her face.
When she looked down, she'd see...that guy. Oh right; he was here too. She had completely forgot. What was he saying? She couldn't make it out but then again, what he was saying was the furthest care in her mind. She had knowledge to share! She'd descend low enough for him to get a glimpse of her moving past like a listless balloon. "Hi." she remarked then quickly followed it with a "Bye." She was already on her way back on her own volition with not a seeming care to Miguel other than a simple greeting and farewell.
After all the trouble she had given him! It was like a slap in the face. But she didn't even know. All she knew was that circles were very important. And Miguel was certainly NOT a circle.
As soon as she spotted her colleagues, she had already began raving and shouting. "You all! You MUST follow me! I found a hidden path! A very hidden path! It's stupendous! It's beautiful! It's perfect! It's a circle! Its curves denote a way through we've not seen yet and may lead to a more interesting locale than what we've previously encountered!" She pulled out the fruit and held it as if it were a sacred artifact. "This island may have been a complete circle at one point! The possibilities are there before us! Exquisite!"

Miguel would pause as he saw the shadow of a familiar figure pass over him. Looking up, he'd see Hubble descending low like a deflated balloon before she waved a quick hi and bye to him. Looking at his target drifting by without a care in the world made veins pop up on miguel's face, but she was gone by the time his shout echoed through the forest.
"HUBBLE NOSTRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"
The scientists felt a shiver run down their spines as they heard what they thought was a wail of a vicious animal. "Do you think Hubble is safe? Are we safe?" The scientists would debate, before Hubble floated above them and began to rave and shout. All of the think lanky scientist jumped up in shock and fear; not realizing that it was Hubble until a moment later, with all of them shouting back at her when she finished by pulling out a fruit to show them it was a circle, their faces looking like angry sharks as they voiced themselves, "THAT'S BECAUSE LOTS OF FRUITS ARE ROUND BUBBLE HEAD!"
They quickly calmed down, most of what was left of their meals having been either scattered on the ground or into the fire. "Ha.... Hubble, you've got to quit it with that circle obsession. There are tons of things that look like circles, but that doesn't mean that some alien civilization made the shape. It occurs naturally too!" Largo stated, pushing up his glasses as he explained YET AGAIN why fruits were often circular. "Most fruits are round like that so that they can roll down hills or be easily noticed by animals. This gives the seeds within fruits a chance to spread out and avoid competing with the parent tree."
That said, the other scientists agreed with Largo, stating he at least had been learning and listening to them. Largo looked a bit bitter at those comments, but didn't say anything. Instead he looked to Hubble, "Miguel was looking for you again though. Did you happen to pass by him on your way back? Also, what do you mean a path?" Quickly the other Scientists would pull out and check a drawn map of half moon island, the broken circle on it having an effect on Hubble without a doubt. "We don't see any record of a different path outside of these ruins.... are you sure you didn't just see a wild life trail again?" A female scientist with a bee hive like hairdoo would ask incredulously. Largo would quickly speak up, "Look, Hubble Bubble, I know you don't care for anything but circles, but we aren't suppose to leave the ruins site. Miguel even stated as such that he'd drag everyone back if they didn't stay here."

Ah her colleagues. They challenged her beliefs but she was understanding that such apprehension of her studies was an invitation for her to further reinforce that circles were indeed a gift from above. Some might've taken it as a bad thing but Hubble was ready to stand her ground with vim and vigor!
Largo's words were taken with a few understanding nods then followed it up with "Yes yes I know! It's amazing that nature adapts and the first thing they choose to develop into is a circle to necessitate that they carry on and grow! And in towns, mankind's earliest innovations is the wheel! It gets them to things much faster! The ship's wheel guides it! The moon is round! Even our wonderful little transponder snails have round shells for protection in the wild! Even the World Government's insignia is comprised of circles! Circles are great, aren't they? Nature defers to its perfect shape each time, even humanoids and even things BEYOND!" She gestured gloriously to the skies, holding the fruit up in the air and letting it float up to eclipse the sun in her field of view before descending back into her grasp.
When the question came about Miguel, she looked confused for a moment. Her brain imagined a square peg trying to fit into a round hole and then the square peg turned into Miguel's face then her eyes lit up just as the square image in her head uttered the same roar from earlier after hitting its head on the round hole for the umpteenth time. "...Miguel? Oh, right. That was his name! His square features make him very easy for me to forget, heh. I saw him then he yelled something but it was probably nothing! I'm back here, after all! Because I-" the drawn map's incomplete circle made her visibly cringe but she mustered up her nerve to continue. "...have found a path that one cannot see unless you change your view! While examining the fruit in the canopy, I looked down and saw a curving path! Possibly a spiral! What a wonderful shape! It keeps going around...and around...and around...and around...."
She kept on repeating as if she were a broken record, all while swiveling her entire body.
