Yoshi is a rather average, yet toned-built man that stands at a rough 6'1 in height. His hair is usually unkempt, and is a stark navy blue in color, usually preferring to keep it tied up in a ponytail. His eyes are a deep golden-yellow and what people could only describe as "feral" in appearance. He usually has a bit of a stubble along the tip of his chin.

Clothing:
Yoshi prefers simple, but dramatic clothing, usually choosing an attire consisting of blue jean-pants, a white shirt underneath a dark blue jacket and a similar-colored upper coat with a tall collar, held together by his neck with a black choker. He usually is seen with a dark blue navy cap as well, with a golden moon on the front of it.

Personal Items:
He is always seen with his personal bokken wood sword at hand, usually just tapping it along his shoulder, or using it for balance support. His Pokeballs are strapped onto a belt around his waist.


Personal Information

General Personality:
Having an "attitude" is the least one could say about Yoshi, as he is overall brash and hot-headed even on a good day. He does not like having his "style" trashed, but that "style" seemingly is to just loiter around wherever he pleases and cutting an attitude with those who have a problem with him. He does not respect authority either, as he does not like being bossed around and told what to do, just doing his own thing whenever he's asked to do the opposite. His hot-headedness also makes him highly confrontational, most likely due to some delusion of having to be the "alpha" in any situation, as he'll gladly step up to anyone who even looks at him for too long and will verbally lash out on them and daring them into fights, whether it is with Pokemon or otherwise. But, if one is SOMEHOW able to earn his respect, he'll tolerate them enough to the point of being friends.

Goal:
Yoshi does not have any grandiose "goals" or "dreams", unlike a lot of other people. To him, living his life and beating up anyone who crosses him is good enough. But he does subtly wish to prove that he's the best trainer around, and not wishing to back down from any challenge given to him.

History:
Yoshi's parents had fallen on hard times during the time of his birth, due to Altair City being heavy with competition in most career paths, so by the time he was born, both his mother and father were hard-pressed to make money last for both of them, let alone with a baby as well. Soon enough, they were forced to move to a more affordable apartment in the Deneb Ward, where Yoshi spent his entire childhood, and still considers his 'home' today. But he HATED growing up there. Every day was a fight against local bullies and other nasty figures, and even if the more affordable housing made money a bit more easily saved for his parents to gift him with rather affordable knick-knacks and luxuries, Yoshi felt it wasn't worth it if every day felt like he was about to get beat up.

So one day he had enough.

So at the young age of 16, armed with a bokken sword borrowed from his father, he'd take to his usual walk around the alleys of the ward, and when the bullies came for him as usual, he'd beat them all up, even leaving the head honcho of the group with a dented, broken nose. He was caught by the local authorities and brought home of course, and received a heavy scolding from both his parents, but he knew now what he had to do to show he was not some pushover. If push came to shove, he'd push HARD. And from that day on, the trouble-makers of the Deneb Ward seemed less and less enthused about wanting to cause trouble, knowing that any time, the "Deneb Devil" would be upon them and beat them to a pulp.

This moniker of his was one not given by himself, but the crowd of people living in the Deneb Ward. He was praised and lauded at times, but due to his harsher years he had grown callous and jaded, and so his hostile behavior even turned to those who praised him, which left him disliked by a lot of people. But he didn't care. He knew what he had set out to do, and that's all that mattered. As he reached the age of 20, his parents would do their best to course-correct their son, and managed to get him his first Pokemon; a Zigzagoon. He did indeed grow rather attached to the Pokemon, and would raise and train him diligently, all the way up until he was an Obstagoon. But he still kept being the menace he used to be. And what's worse, he gained more Pokemon on his own, thanks to his loyal and powerful Zigzagoon, until he had a full team. Nowadays, Yoshi prowls the Deneb Ward in search for troublemakers, but ever so often he strolls into the rest of Altair City to search for more challenges... or to just be a menace.
