Edward was a man of roughly 5 foot 8 inches in height. Despite his wrinkled face, squinting eyes, and head that bore a bald spot among a wreath of grey hair, he stood up straight, as though being 66 did not do anything to weigh itself upon his back. His suit was that of the standard salary man, grey with white undershirt and blue tie, all with a bulging gut that implied he sat around all of the time.
He would continue on his way, only stopping once he reached a place that resembled the rumors he had heard while in jail in hushed whisper. A small hospital business, legitimate on all angles. People passed by without too much care about it, either too busy on their way to work, or on their short punch break. Stepping into the establishment, Edwards looked about, hoping to see if he could speak with the front clerk. When given the chance, he'd step up, and ask, "Pardon me. Would you care if I asked who I could speak to in regards to discrete check ups? I don't like to be seen by more established and wealthy doctors after all.". Edward spoke, hoping that the phrase for villain services was still viable. He knew that these phrases changed often, and if he wasn't using the right phrase he could easily end up six feet under instead. At least that's what he was told by his cell mate.
Despite his age, his hands were wide, and appeared not to be that of someone who was old, but of someone who trained their grip strength, and was accustomed to lifting heavy things. Even the girth of his neck which had no sag to it seemed to give an impression that he was more than fit. A check up wasn't needed. Not unless he was talking about a different type of check up.

The receptionist gave him a quick look over. It would have barely been noticeable if he wasn't paying attention but the man in front of the woman was an odd sight to be seen for sure he was definitely healthy so it was the question what he was doing at the hospital the first place the code he gave an also was an old one so receptionist was skeptical. still she gave him a smile and told him to wait a moment and to please be seated that someone will be with him soon.
As he was seated she wrote a quick note in the logs noting the odd appearance in a quick descriptor of who he was which fortunately for him garnered the attention of one of the managers within the hospital still the staff was skeptical and a dog of all things would come and usher him towards the back. The dog was very friendly, seemingly overly so which might put the older man on edge but she lead him to an elevator which will take them down into some kind of tunnel section of the clinic nobody definitely legal would be here and she would say to him to wait here as more would meet up with him.
He would wait a moment while the dog sauntered off and another figure would appear in the distance. What would greet him is the fungus humanoid smoking a decorative pipe. They seemed quite relaxed, approaching him as if they had all the time in the world and when they finally got face to face, he'd bow
"good afternoon Mr. Edward. what brings you to this fine establishment? "
He was treated like a familiar friend, which undercut the intensity of the situation.

Edward noted how the nurse watched him with scrutiny, though as he sat down he noticed how quaint the place was. When he was approached by the dog quirked person and lead into an elevator, he didn't even bother questioning why they were going down. Instead he stayed calm as he figured this was as good a sign as anything.
Eventually, he'd follow the course and would end up in an underground tunnel. This was what he had heard about from his cell mate, and it was all he needed to know he was at the right place. Of course when the individual guiding him slandered off, Edward stood where he was left. Seeing someone in the distance, Edward understood that this was it. Make or break. Yet, he didn't feel nervous. No anxiety on if he'll end up dead or crippled.
How many years had it been since his first interview? When he was 18? Yes... That was so long ago.... Yet he knew the process by heart. "You are correct, my name is Edward Golman. You may wonder what I am here for, as well as why I used an old pass code, if indeed it is old. That said, I approach you not as a former disgraced Bank Teller who was framed for embezzlement, but as a man who seeks vengeance... As well as a man who wishes to make use of future funds I plan to acquire."
Taking out a 100 Yen coin, he would trigger his quirk, turning the coin into solid gold. He'd flick the coin over to the individual before stating, "I am wanting to form a partnership with the DDHP. One of mutual interest, and more so, I seek new employment. I understand if your association is suspicious of me, but I have information on the Frugal Bank of Tokyo."
The Frugal Bank of Tokyo was one of the longest standing bank, and was known for having relationships with various wealthy and influential people. It wasn't the largest bank, but it was up in the top five most secure banks. "To be honest, I was a senior Teller and am very familiar with the layout and security of the place.... I heard from a cellmate of mine that the DDHP is always in need of funds. Would your security officer be willing to hear me out? Oh, and one more thing. Call me Lord Miser."

"Sure sure Mr. Miser "
it would respond as they blew in a deep breath from their pipe. It would be apparent that, while they were willing to be respectful on anothers choice of name, they still commanded the place. Edward could leave whenever he wanted, but he also wanted to be here. the mushroom man knew that much, for what reason was still somewhat beyond him but an answer was coming to light
"The lead of security I presume? and what do you know of them? What, pray tell, has you believing that you aren't talking to them right at this very moment? "
if they had glasses, they would be peering from beneath them, with the expression they were giving him. still, chanelle was intrigued by the proposition given. they knew well that Raven would be interested in such a thing but chanelle needed to know how well his information deduction was, first of all.

Looking at the mushroom themed individual, Somewhat froze for a second. Was this person the Head of Security here? He scanned the individual. Their quirk could be a mutation, much like many others he had seen here. He had noticed the density of mutants in the hospital. Not that he cared. Mutant or not, a person was a person. They were accountable for themselves. Opening his eyes a bit more his face seemed to become almost akin to a different person.
"If you were head of security, then I would assume the security of the DDHP would be laughably ineffective. No offense, but you are likely the first line of defense.... If the head of security was taken out, then the order of command could fall apart. You... If I were to guess what your job was.... Perhaps it's simply related to your position here before me. Someone who could knock out, or kill anyone foolish enough to think they could threaten the DDHPs patients. Maybe even hallucinogenics.... Honestly, I'm not a professional on quirks, but the security of many banks rarely allow for the head of security to stay at the front.... No, they would have several guards in fact.... Unless the DDHP doesn't have the funds to afford paying for decent security."
Miser knew he was guessing, but it was an educated guess. In security, the chain of command revolved around two individuals. Head of Security, and Senior officers who held secondary command. Takamori, his old co-worker, had explained it long ago. Generally, the head was in charge of either active patrol, cameras, or in charge of schedule checks from guards. They were constantly busy, and more so, they addressed individuals they did not know with a higher grade of suspicion than this individual was.
"That said.... If I was wrong, then someone would obviously correct me. But I am willing to go all in and say you are not the head of security. Maybe second in command, but not the head. You would be the guard dog..... No offense....". He spoke, turning to where the dog mutant had disappeared off to with his final comment.
The truth was that he only knew of what his cell mate had told him. That DDHP would suit someone of his background, and that they would be the least likely to aggravate him. The other choices were of course Team Confidence, but even someone as green to the world of villains as Edward knew that it was a shady organization that was known for using people like tools. Other than that, he could try to create his own organization, but that would require funds, and he was not confidence in his chances to rob his old job without significant back up or an emergency escape plan. Heroes were on high alert these days after all....
"I do beg your pardon, but I would prefer to avoid wasting anymore time than the 45 odd years in which I was robbed of by my old boss. If your boss needs funds, I can provide at least 3/4th of the acquisition assets as donations to the DDHP... If you are not willing to get on with whatever you must do, then I'll need to speak with Team Confidence about my problem."

He was testing them, which was a smart move to make. Who would be the first to cry mercy, they wondered. Chanelle could play this game well
"My dear friend, I am a golden oyster. A common fungi around these parts, and grows rapidly too. A one person army, so to speak. Taking me out would not be such an easy feat"
Of course they were exaggerating but the man before him didn't know that. He displayed many good points, not quirk related too but Chanelle knew better than to let him get the upper hand.
"everyone is always in need of more funds, such is the nature of buisness. Especially of our specialty"
They stated, giving lord miser a knowing look.
"you could go to team confidence but whos to say they will not only take your time, but advantage of you yourself? They are a snakey bunch, even by our standards"
Chanelle challenged back. Oh how fun this client was proving to be, they were also sure that Raven would enjoy him as well
"but if you have your mind already set, who am I to keep you? I warn such impatience could be your own undoing. Decisions made in haste are not in good rate"
With this, Chanelle would offer him the floor to do as he wanted, whether that was to stay or go

"That's the point of me coming here. Despite how often people say it, Time is Money, and in more ways than one. Sure, Team Confidence COULD, and likely WOULD take advantage of me.... but so long as I make that bastard in charge of the bank suffer for his corruption.... Well.... I think I can live in a cell for the last few years of my life comfortably. It wasn't that bad before I was released." Miser said, cocking his head to the side. "Wasting my time is equal to wasting your employer's funds. And I've waited long enough.... I only have so much longer to live after all."
Edwards was right. Despite how he seemed quite healthy for an old man... he might live another ten to twenty years before he couldn't keep his health up. "And now I know you're not head of security. Otherwise you'd try to bargain about the cut. So... tell me how long it will take to bring your superior here, and I'll consider it with a counter offer. I'll wait 3 minutes. How long do you need? Oh, and for an estimate on figures, security deposits alone, the job would at least net 4.2 billion yen minimum in assets. Nothing to scoff at, and that doesn't include the cash already in the vault." Lord Miser gave the estimate for what he had last remembered. So long as those security boxes hadn't all been taken already, documents from stocks, to medical and business deals, and even private items could net a fair amount of money if they were taken through the proper channels. "Tick Tock Golden Oyster. Tick Tock." He said, pulling up the watch upon his wrist as he checked the time and began to count down.

"Really would be willing to go back to jail to get the job done, hmmm? "
Chanelle looked him over and laughed, for some reason. This man was as incredibly sharp as they said however impatient he was
"we can assure you that you won't go back to such a place under our employ"
They stated, patting him on the back as they started walking down the tunnel beckoning him to follow letting out a deep whistle at the figures he was spouting out
"no doubt about it. But Raven isn't meeting you here, oh no sir. I assure you that all is seen and heard."
Chanelle stated. They had just received word though the man wouldn't or couldn't have possibly know that in that point in time
"she is quite excited to meet you in person"
They mused as they walked him down to the meeting point

Miser tensed a bit at the back pat. "Please refrain from doing that again. It's a gesture that I no longer have fondness for." The man stated, making it clear that back pats now had a bad meaning to him. Following Chanelle, he listened to how their superior had been watching and listening in. "I didn't wish to assume, but it's glad to know that security isn't lax here. That said, you seem fairly confident that I will be hired." He stated, moving along, all while making things brief and clear. "None the less, I suppose if you're that confident that I will be working with your group, perhaps now I am owed an introduction. I did introduce myself first after all, and knowing your co-worker's names is only polite, even if only a code name."
Honestly Edward was simply trying to gauge the type of person this person he following was. He knew that personal information would likely be kept closed, but the idea was to figure out if this was just another mask or persona this person used. Walking forward, Edward would look around, paying attention to the structure of the facility. He honestly wondered what kind of place the organization lived and worked in. A gloomy run down and abandoned place? Labyrinthine in nature? Perhaps it was as clean as the hospital upstairs... he wasn't sure, but walking forward he'd figure he'd find out.

"Understood, understood Mr.Miser. Give you any guarantee, that I cannot do but you have passed the first level of the interview process which is something that can't be said for many people"
Chanelle stated, while still notably still not giving them a name for them to use. they would continue to lead him through the tunnel, which was surprisingly well kept up, for an underground tunnel. it was dark and dimly lit and the decoration around them was grim but there was a purpose to them. they would pause for a moment, as they would await for the train and it was in that pause that chanelle would continue to speak on the statement that brought up on the walk down
"you already have a name for me, however do you not? I'm not used to introducing myself, however. my name is known well in the circles that I run in if you get my meaning Sire Miser."
he was getting closer to his desired name, but the first part of it was always something different. then, a train arrived before them. it was a nice electric train, albiet just a single car as a massive one wasn't needed for their purposes and this would be far easier to keep hidden if neccessary
"Ah, our ride is here oh. and my name! i forgot! Surely you have heard of me in the streets. whispers of the one and only Fungtabulous able to sweet talk anyone and anything."
they stated, giving them a wink and offering him the first step on the train
"well then, after you."
they would stay. the inside was quite luxurious, and spacious. a few beds were set up in the train proper and there was a sitting area with a television set. the medical supplies were out of sight, but the machines that were used were present, it hardly looked like a medical train much at all.
