Childhood
Little Wade had a bunch of issues as a kid and an overactive imagination. Mom left, dad left, or neither? Definitely got beat on a bit for being a bit of a chaos goblin, still kept on going even after being diagnosed by a councilor at his elementary school... and this is not really the part that people want to hear about so let's fast forward to the next chapter. Wade ran away from home and went across the border to good old Uncle Sam land.
Military & First Bout of Mercing Around
Now a man, Wade joined the US military of all things after taking a break from good old Canada. While he had top marksmanship and hand to hand combat records after a few years in, his borderline insubordination and lack of respect for the command structure eventually got him booted out. He wouldn't be a hungry beggar on the street though, having built up a small of network of contacts that he would fall into and take up a new career path.
Finding mild success and a little love on the side, things were finally starting to all look Wade. He even considered marrying the girl he had gotten close to, content with his direction in life. Tragedy would strike.
Weapon X
Back to good old Canada, there was this place called Department K, which was part of a joint operation with the US's Weapon X program. Not having anything left to live for, old Wade put himself in harms way to become a test subject. A healing factor was implanted in his body from a donor and seemed to beat back the cancer. They even put him out in the field to justify the cost of giving this handsome devil a second lease on life. Thats right about when shit went ascew, awry? The cancer came back mixed in with the healing factor, making it really hard to do anything but die as his flesh basically turned into all scar tissue. Dying and not really able to slay men or puss, they sent Wade to a this place that was basically hospice care for failed or dying superhumans.

This is required for all canons and OCs deemed significant within the scope of the RP, such as group leaders or exceptionally powerful individuals to warrant an additional layer of scrutiny. Please write, at minimum, a couple paragraphs of your character in a scene. The scene does not need to be made into RP continuity (but it can be if you want).
