Visual Appearance:
Physical Appearance: Waka stands at 5'10 with an average build. Blonde hair jets up to the air in big thick spikes, while the rest of his hair is faded fairly low. Turquoise eyes pierce through and give nice color to his fair-skinned face. On his forearms and shoulder blades/scalupula are deep dimples.
Civilian Clothes: He will typically just wear his UA uniform, but outside of school, he spends all his money on fancy clothes. There's really no telling how over or understated he may dress. His go-to is a jacket he designed for his future fans to wear. Can be found on Ampman .com
Hero Outfit:
A black jumpsuit is like most basic heroes. The sleeves stop at his elbows and purposefully expose his forearms. Sitting at the nape of the jumpsuit's neck is a green hood. The legs of the jumpsuit actually go all the way down, but are cuffed to and meet up to black boots that come up to his calves. He doesn't have an extensive toolbelt.

Sound Deadening earbuds- Small buds he can pop in his ears. He keeps these in at all times, as he'll play music as he fights or feels like drowning someone out. Surprisingly enough, these aren't even made by the support team. He's actually sponsored by this company.
His hoodie-hero suit- His own design. It can be purchased on his website, just like the jacket and earphones.
Personality
Bad Habits:
Reading Lips
Making little songs in his head or grooving to a beat he can't stop thinking about
Putting a value on things that don't matter
Goal: Retire early and live rich and out of sight.
General Personality:
Wakaba is a composed and level-headed guy. As someone who's rather analytical, he often hosts a cold expression as he tries to figure things out. He holds onto the strange duality of either being VERY lazy or VERY active for specific reasons with little to no in-between. This is because he has "values." Waka tends to denote things having specific values and weighs their importance based on that. He also weighs his decision based on those same values. He likes to laze, but he also has an extremist belief about being useful. There's great value in being useful. However, everything can't be considered useful. So this mindset leads to him only deep diving into skills he finds incredibly valuable for his life and pleasures. For the uses of having fun, he dabbles in Djing and music production. For monetary uses, he dabbles in sales of his own products and dj services.(Book Ampman at your local party at Ampman .com) And lastly, for survival he has become a great hero in training at UA... -though none of his peers would suspect such a thing. Waka doesn't see much value in getting good grades. To him, the only time performing matters is when a prospecting hero and their team is watching OR in the field, when being a hero really matters. In which case, he ranked rather close to the bottom of his classes only doing alarmingly well in spurts.
Laziness has its perks, though. It often teaches someone to use their head in order to properly shirk their responsibilities elsewhere. For school projects, he's the guy picks the leader role because delegating is typically less work than actually doing anything. The same can be said for group fitness exercises, he'd rather organize and sortie the group rather than be IN the group, actually exercising. Behind closed doors, he trains often, as there's great value in being fit. It's pretty much understood from most people around him at this point, if it doesn't outright benefit him, he likely won't do it. While it leads to some questionable morals and behavior, he tries his best to not let outside sources affect him, but he is both a cynic and an opportunist. There's no real telling what he may do at any given moment. He's a true wild card, pulled by that strange value system of his.
Personal Life
Mother: Former J Pop Star, Kana (Retired a few years ago)
Father: Half-american Music Mogul, Wing Kentouru (Quirk: Amp)
Siblings: (only child)
Extended family: (Distant Cousins, Kachiya and Ondori)
History:
"If you're not going to follow directions, consider yourself cut off!" His father roared. Getting verbally scored by his father was normal, but it stung more this time. That was because his mother finally had enough too. She's cried as if wanting to be a hero was breaking her heart. "If you wanna go out there and get yourself killed, so be it. I'll set you up real good, but you're gonna be on you're own." The door slammed behind the man. His mother stayed with him a few moments longer. " Really now, son... You have been blessed with two parents who can get you far into the music world. Why would you turn your back on us.... what's the use in being a hero?"
Waka wouldn't answer. At this point, he couldn't fathom seeing her expression. It was too scary to look. He was just a kid. Wanting to be a hero was incredibly normal, wasn't it? ...Wasn't it? She'd left his side before he knew, before he could get an answer out. "What use is being a hero?" He repeated, tears rolling down his face. "It means everything to me." He'd never see his parents again. He was to live with the house made until he was old enough to dorm at whatever hero school his father appointed him to.

"Wakaba Kentouruuuuuuu~"
The crowd roared in response, as the announcer raised his hand. Other students balled their fists, and even teachers were a bit perplexed at the winner of the Ketsubetsu first year's tourney. Waka smiled big knowing how useful this win would be. This silly little trophy would get him into UA. The application was already set, all he had to do was perform. A few weeks would go by and the teen would find himself in the principal's office, hearing the TV-head go on and on about UA's legacy. He tuned a fair amount of it out, but he looked like he was listening... as there was great value in appearing in studious and attentive in front of the UA head honcho. Due to not having the most glowing reviews from teacher, he'd get placed in 1a on a probationary setting. Waka wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth. Terebii was a nice guy and an in was an in. The boy would drag himself to 1b in no time. Not that he cared...
By his own measure, Wakaba knew A and B didn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. In this world of heroes and billboard charts, appearances were everything. His sights were on investigating what it took to be a UA student. He'd already missed the 1st's years sport fest, but there was always next year. Sadly, being at UA was a rude awakening in its own right. He'd have to adjust to things first!
_________________________________________________
With some time, his second year as a hero student would come. Just in his year as a transfer student, he'd run into many things: roadblocks, hiccups, and humbling experiences. He couldn't just turtle his way through the lessons at UA. They were the cream of the crop for a reason. These exercises... tests... training. They were exhausting... -annoyingly so. He'd have to train behind closed doors. Skating by his teeth was one thing... he preferred to skate by in comfort. He'd enlist the help of another slacker, Big W!n or rather, Murakami, an entity so devious he was the first student to get held back a grade in UA history. The loud boy whipped Waka into shape in secret. It wouldn't be enough. He needed to be excellent! Making money as a hero meant he needed to be able to win and shine with confidence on the battlefield. Waka knew he'd need some help beyond Murakami's pummeling him every day. More than toughness, he needed technique! It was at this point, he'd also find fine tutoring from Nocturne, who seemed unnaturally used to Waka's type. Nocturne was a busy guy, but he'd lend the boy ideas and tips on how to improve his usage in combat.
When it came to his exams, and class exercises, he finally was feeling more comfortable. In fact, getting C's and D's had never been so easy. Yes, this was the sweet spot! It was at this point in the year that rumblings about the Sports Festival began. This was a coveted UA tradition, where heroes and fans would fill the stadium. Waka was hard-pressed to participate despite his mediocre showings in class. Part of his want to participate came from wanting to carve a distinct lane during this festival. There were monsters in his class. He knew beating the top 3 was something too hasty a goal. Instead, he'd aim for the most knockouts and elims during the road to the 1v1 tournament. During the obstacle course, he culled the number of participants down quite a bit on his own. In the Cavalry round, he'd brought plenty other teams down before getting thwarted by the agile Shinja. She'd could fly while her "legs" secured a landing pad for her. From there, he'd just have to watch his peers duke it out for the top spot. He wondered how his performance looked to the onlookers. Would they be impressed with him? He damn sure wasn't going to show off this hard when things got back to normal.

"Why not just join my agency? You're smarter than what your grades reflect. I wouldn't mind someone who's well thought out joining." Nocturne said, the two just sitting by the pool watching the kids in detention work.
"Too much work. Detectives have bags under their eyes, and bleak expressions from all the long nights of investigating horrors. Why would I subject myself to having no life? " An honest answer. Nocturne shook his head, and chuckled. Had anyone else said it, he would have taken some offense. This was Waka after all. He was the type to already have the next 5 years already planned out, likely just waiting for an opportunity that lined up with his ambitions. Nocturne would change the topic to something more immediate and important.
"You know you're all supposed to be cleaning right?" Nocturne eyed him.
"At what cost? It looks like they've got it covered, plus it's a scorcher out today..." That wasn't a good enough excuse, but there was a method to his madness. "Why are there so many kids in detention today anyway? You may as well throw a pool party when the waters all filled."
Nocturne sighed. This kid was like an old man among teenagers. Why was he like this? It wasn't his business to pry, but he needed to make it seem like he had the boy just as busy as the others. With a deep sigh, he knew he'd have to give something up. Waka's type needed motivating. "Get everyone here some drinks from the cafe. If you get back before my timer beeps, I'll let you keep the change " Waka gave the teacher a sparkling smile before snatching the bill from his clutches.
"With pleasure. Being a runner has its perks." There was no runner... He made himself a runner... Yoo simply shook his head, knowing this boy was headed straight for his 3b class next year.
Quirk
Name: Amp
Quirk Type: Transformer
Power: Upon transformation, Waka's skin grows incredibly firm and it gets a wood grain look to it as his body bulks up a bit. His forearms become larger and more pronounced as the dimples in them become holes used to channel sound. His shoulder broader, and his chest becomes fuller as the dimples in his scalpula's become deep holes as well. This transformed version of Waka can manipulate and amplify sound to a sharp degree. With how his body if built, his arms naturally gather and channel sound, while his shoulder blades amplify the intensity and loudness. With how his body works, there is always sound reverberating through or around him.
"Pitch" through his arms, creating a hum that can be adjusted to something deep like the bass of an 808, or to a pitch so high it almost seems quiet. Often times he will click his wrists together to initiate a new pitch.
"AMP" From his shoulders, he can amplify sound output and loudness for more firepower.
Supermoves:
_____________________________________ Subtle Sounds
Defensive AMP / Dead Silence- It's not quiet at all, in fact Waka is constantly altering the pitch of sounds around him to move "quietly". With his firmed skin, dampening the sound, and his forearms changing the pitch to something less ear-catching. Dogs and other animals can hear it just fine though(and probably hate him). He will often coat this defensive armor around his body to buffer strong strikers' blows. Striking him while he has this active imitates the exact sting and vibrating numbness of striking a metal bat against something incorrectly. It's quite painful to punch passed this guard.
Colorless Wall- From a quiet pitch honed to a neutral tone and hum, Waka will employ a temporary marble of sound around himself by clicking his wrists together. This is to either stop incoming attacks or to use himself as a projectile and crash into someone with the sound pressure and force.
Mosquito Song- An attack on someone's equilibrium and body with the jarring pitch change in his forearm right as he strikes. This nasty high-pitched buzzing sound is used to pierce someone with a wave of sound. This can cause nosebleeds, vomiting, and extreme loss of balance. Striking someone multiple times with this can even cause some internal bleeding as the sound waves rumble through the body.
_________________________________________ Harsh Sounds / Most Recently learned
Offensive AMP/ Red Note- A hum created from Waka's forearms, utilizing sound waves to increase his striking power and sound pressure. As he strikes things, the pitch changes to a harsh vibrating 808 bass sound. Block against this is quite hard as the vibrations promote fatigue and numbness.
Dial it up to 11, Rumble Red- An ultra-honed strike of sound. Using this can sound like a bomb going off or extremely violent thunder. It can be devastating to everything around him at 5 meters, but especially so in the direction he swings, and it can stretch up to 15 meters. Whatever gets hit, is struck with an excruciatingly painful rippling effect as harsh sound washes over them. Getting hit by this will cause one to go deaf for 2 posts, and being in the vicinity will cause loss of hearing for 1 post.
Dial it up to 11, Red Amphitheater- An ultra-honed ringing sound used to make people momentarily go deaf(2 posts). The sensation is so jarring, it can knock people to their knees from the rippling sound washing over them, numbness in limbs, and can cause a lasting migraine (rest of the thread). He cannot play this note longer than a few seconds or else it will affect him too. It's an indiscriminate sound that radiates 25 meters. Getting hit too many times with this can outright knock someone out.
________________________________________ Supplementary Sounds
AMPED Siren, Yellow Note- Emergency pitches created by charging a sound into his forearms. It's to alert allies and enemies alike. He often will brief someone on what the different pitches mean. It's highly useful for communicating without talking.
Fake out, Butterfly Song- An incredibly unique pitch of sound that promotes sleepiness, the same resonating white noise people use to help them sleep at night. Not so great for lively enemies, but perfect for calming civilians down.
Drawbacks:
Water and Water-based quirks literally waterlog his body and oftentimes force him back into his normal human form. (He excels against wind users though)
While his firm skin helps deaden the sound, he's not fully immune to his ability. Oftentimes times he'll get stricken with intense numbness from having to deal with vibrations of sound over a long period of time. This can even lead to nose bleeds or loss of equilibrium if pushed too far.
Certain moves are indiscriminate, he cannot save an ally caught in his attacks.
Lightning users have the upper hand, but he can use the thunder they create. It will be a hard-fought battle against them
Fighting Style:
A calculated brawler. Due to his quirk, he's forced to be a brawler, but that doesn't mean he has to stop using his head. Waka's personality is actually his entire fighting style. He assesses everything with his judgmental and analytical nature in a short amount of time and can hatch a game plan rather fast. Anyone fighting him for an extended period of time is going to have a hard time, but as a lazy shortcutter, he will do absolutely anything in his power to bring someone down as quickly as possible. He doesn't care about playing fair or honor like his peers, he cares about getting things done... as there's great value in getting the job done.
