Name: Venile Stelztrown
Age: 27
Gender: Female
Birthplace: Side 3
Faction: Axis Zeon
Rank: Ensign
Appearance:
Personality: Some say hedonist, Venile prefers the term enjoyer. Rather than just sit back and wallow in self-pity, she finds the time to enjoy the little pleasures, to find ways to keep herself busy in these hard times. Food, alcohol, gambling, all of life's little vices. And anyone that dares deprive her of such pleasures is an enemy in her mind. Whilst death always looms when she's on a mission, Venile sees death as inevitable element of life, and it happens when it happens. So why not enjoy the life that she has right now? Whilst she has her own hatreds and prejudices, anyone else in her ranks she sees a friend and someone that will likely die with her. So why not have fun with it?
She's always making jokes and pulling pranks, encouraging others to hone their skills and motivating others to improve their mobile suit piloting skills. In fact she has an immense pride when it comes to her piloting skills, often flying too close to the sun with manoeuvres and considering herself something of an ace pilot. She doesn't believe herself to be above the law and happily does as she is told, but she never keeps her thoughts to herself. Sadism isn't exactly how she would put it, but she does take pleasure in wiping out her enemies, there's that small part of her that still despises her past defeat and seeks revenge. Whilst she knows her current opponents aren't those who caused her pain, she finds it easy to pull that trigger. However, she doesn't kill those who surrender, to her, that's unsporting. Despite all this, she truly does consider herself a hoot to be around.
History: Venile was never really one to entertain herself with delusions of destiny, but her life truly did start off with a bang. Her father was a military engineer and her mother was a soldier, from the moment she was born they expected greatness from her. And this idea of greatness, that she was born for glory? It did not appeal to her. As she matured and became more and more knowledgeable of the world, she found herself deciding she would rather live her life the way she wanted, rather than listen to lectures from her parents on the importance of pride. She found herself to be more a fan of luxuries.
Excess, nothing was more interesting to her than the fact she could just, do anything she wanted. Anybody could. They were masters of their own bodies. Her parents began to put into place curfews and rules to ensure their child would not embarrass them as she reached her teens. Around this time, they sent her to be instructed in the ways of themselves, training her to follow in their footsteps as military personnel. Originally, she surprised them by taking an interest in engineering and began to apply herself, whilst continuing her outlandish lifestyle. Unfortunately, she found she had a knack for work with her hands, taking a shining to it.
That was until, the flames of war began to stir.
There was an accident at her father's work, she was told there was simply a gas leak in the engine room, but something felt off that day. A great inferno consumed the factory and destroyed the fruit of their work, everything she had finally began to work on, was consumed by fire, and she was left with naught by ash. Ash, and a burning reminder of that day, forever remembered by her body. Recovery was painful. because she could do nothing as the One Year War broke out. All that anger from the accident, cursing those who had overlooked the factors, cursing those who may have sabotaged the factory. She found out as she was discharged, her father was lost in the fire, and her mother had been deployed into the fray.
After she was fixed up, she signed up and entered training, getting through initial training so that she might join her mother in the fires of battle. Whilst she never could get fully into the heart of battle, it was during this time she achieved what she considers a confirmed kill. But, shortly after, that was when everything fell apart. When Zeon forces were officially defeated, all she felt was contempt that this conflict hadn’t lasted long enough for her to get all that she could out of it. She still felt empty.
Her mother didn't go with her to Axis, but she didn't care.
After their little retreat, she focussed back on enjoying herself. Trying her best hand at maintaining that burning desire to fight with as much revelry as she could muster. yet when she felt that fire begin to rage again, she knew she couldn't just sit idly by, happily enrolling to protect Zeon once more.
All that she needed now, was a proper experience to finally sate her.
