Kirie stood tall, or as tall as she could be as tall masked men scattered to get today's job started. There was a fairly wealthy business owner in this condominum complex, who didn't pay their debts. It was a bit appalling considering reality would reveal a large chunk of this man's wealth had been a loan from the Yakuza... -a poser highroller, if you will. Much like all debts before this gentleman's, Yakuza would send their hired hands to collect the funds OR the life of the person in question. Now a lot of their clients live in this complex. It was a good business practice to keep profitable piggies in one bunch. With debt collections being so frequent, the front desk manager would typically just look the other way. It was the way they SHOULD act in the face of the Masks.
But this time was different. A new face was working the desk and a worried one at that. The manager would put on a brave smile and pretend to accommodate the criminals while feeling his hand under the desk for the emergency button. No alarm would go off, but a ping would be found to the nearest police station and the emergency locks would be initiated on the entry doors until help came. As collected as he could, the manager picked up the phone and began holding a conversation with someone. Kirie didn't really pay it any mind. "I need two of you by the door, and four of you go up to his room and bring him to me. He's in 16th floor, room 1631." She directed. Something told her to look the manager's way. She didn't know why. Maybe it was just instinct. As the elevator doors closed, two of Kirie's men took to the door to make sure no one came in. Little did they know, they were locked in. The men she's sent to the 16th floor were trapped between floors, the manager hitting another emergency switch. "Yes... yes... room service to the VIP room. Cooked DARK. I see. Yes... yes... A rush order. I understand" The manager was gaining some confidence in himself. He'd hang up the phone and stare at the villains. He'd made these villains sitting duc- "Where's our guy?" Kirie inquired. Something was up... The man flinched, trying to figure out how she closed the distance that quickly. "Oh, he got fired..." Sweat rolled down his temple. "But he was our guy... Any clue why boss man let him go?" Kirie pressed the issue. The manager could tell at the very least, she was in charge of the goons. She was the only one proudly presenting her face, whilst the others wore masks and took orders. The manager didn't really have to tell her, but his best bet to save his and whoever they were looking for's life... he needed to stall until a hero arrived. "You see, the general manager tries to be fair with all of us. The last front desk manager had a bit of a drug problem." He was ready to continue but Kirie cut him off. "I know, we sold him those drugs. He's a very happy customer. I was wondering why he hasn't been buying recently. Getting canned will do that to ya." Her suspicions were peaked, realizing the earlier hotel jargon... Why didn't the kitchen answer the food request? Orders weren't handled by front desk... and if they were, Kirie's suspicions were telling her to kill him anyway. -"Boss, there's some sort of elevator lock. We pried open the doors and were able to squeeze into the 15th... we're gonna have to do this by foot." Her men reported into her earpiece. This new guy thought they were stupid... "I see. Make this a rush order please. Make it look nice and clean and get to me as soon as possible." She'd climbed onto the desk. She was playing with her food at this point. "Wh-what?" The manager stammered. Kirie slowly unsheathed her katana, and stared the man down, her special move Phobia activating. This man was an idiot trying to play hero. Before he could scream, the effects of phobia caught him dead in his tracks. He was frozen with fear. "Since you don't know how to get with the program, let me make this easy for you. Tell security guard, Ruichi Yoshi, to wipe footage of us and to loop it. He's... also one of our guys." She commanded. Slowly the manager abided, making sure not to make any sudden movements. "You two, those doors are already locked by this idiot. Go find cleaning supplies. We don't have as much time as I thought." The two lackies abided, knowing exactly what was to come next. - In a panted breath, a lackie would chime back into Kirie's earpiece. "We made it look like a suicide..., ha ha ha. Took ha... a knife.... ha ha ha with his finger prints, and- ha... ha running down the staircase now." Kirie giggled. "Hai haiiii~, thank you!" The manager looked befuddled. Why did her mood shift like that? Whatever the reason, he needed to keep them here. Help was on the way! But... but... he was scared for his life and her phobia technique had killed all of the confidence he'd built to keep a cooler expression. He felt like if he were there any longer, he'd suffocate. Surely a bluff would make the villains think twice, right? In a panicked voice, "M-m-m-m-my quirk let's me ignite whatever I'm staring at. L-l-l-leave me alone before you get incinerated!" That would scare them off right? In a case of fight or flight, this man chose fight... Quirk usage being against the law was one thing, but he'd already called for help. With Phobia active, he was her prey. If he wanted to stand up for himself in desperation, he'd likely already have blown her up if he were feeling so brave. She couldn't choose how people react in fear, she could only read what was in front of her... and everything was pointing to this man's quirk claim being false. The man was already committed to his bluff. For some reason he thought Kirie would back off... he'd follow through with his lie. Kirie made no reply, only gauge the distance between her blade and him. Her eyes were trained at his neck. She finally said something to trigger him. It was like she was daring him to jump stupid if he were feeling froggy. In a playful voice, she- "OH?"He stood up, expression anxious. He took an aggressive stance and pretended to charge his power- "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-" He'd been beheaded in a mere second, Kirie putting the charade to a quick closing. Flicking her blade clean, Kirie slowly sheathed her weapon. "Would've been cool if he actually had a quirk..." She mumbled, before beckoning for the masked goons to bleach and sanitize the scene. Bagging the body would help too. Slumberland had been traveling on the sidewalk of Tokyo for a while today; having finished most if not all of the paperwork he needed to found a new hero agency as well as ordering several of his equipment to be transported from his home country of America to Japan. The problem was that he felt he wasn't doing enough right now. Lately he had been mostly handling everyday hero work, from saving people from things like fires and car wrecks; if not outright preventing them with his Pillow Body quirk; to outright preventing suicide attempts at the last moment. All of this was critical work without a doubt; but it wasn't helping with his goal of trying to outright reduce villain and criminal activity. The problem was that he was only one person. Yes, he had an his assistant who managed his damage and finance costs; but there was only so much two people could do. He needed help; and-
Suddenly he heard the alarm on his phone going off. Taking a moment, Slumberland glanced at the screen noticing a police alert. A alarm for a condominum complex that was nearby. It was an odd alert; but considering it was located in a influential part of Tokyo it made Slumberland realize this could be a hostage situation, if not a stick up. He needed to hurry, as he held his arms out. "Make room!" He shouted, before he began to spin, equipping his heavy knuckledusters. Spinning, he began to move his arms as though he was attempting to sling something; only to shift to his Featherweight form at the peak of his spin, flying well into the air and atop a nearby building. Shifting back to his standard Rubber Form, he moved quickly across rooftops, shifting from feather to foam, and rubber based on what he needed. His Quirk gave him the ability to ignore falls from a variety of heights; moving before he saw the complex before himself. Leaping down to the alleyway of the building he was on, he flopped down, belly first, as he bounced up a bit in his Rubber form. Heading out, he spoke up to the crowd, "Clear OUT! Hero work, everyone vacate the block! GO!" He shouted, walking towards the road as police sirens could be heard in the distance. Any other heroes in the area would immediately recognize him if they arrived, and Slumberland would assess the situation. The alert stated that the building was under lock down, and when the crowd dispersed, Slumberland squinted and thought he saw something strange occur, movement of some kind.
Slumberland approached the glass at a run. He needed to be quick, unexpected, and most of all he needed to prevent any attempt to escape! Using his spring boots he charged forwards, his knuckle dusters bashing in the glass and shattering it. Damages he'd have to pay; but hopefully also damages that would save someone's life. He noticed immediately as he passed two goons who appeared to be guarding the door, their masks and suits indicating one thing.
Yakuza.
He now knew that he needed to not hold back. They wouldn't surrender, as he held his arms out immediately, "YOU'RE ALL UNDER ARREST!" He shouted, his two arms expanding as he slammed both of the goons with what was basically a massive log of rubber foam, slamming them into the far walls on either side of Slumberland. Looking in front of him, Slumberland realized he was too late, a Woman in a similar suit was holding a blade, and a plastering of crimson that told of a fatality simply stated that someone had died. Now angry, Slumberland spoke once more. "I hope you realize it's too late to talk your way out of this young lady." He stated, his heavy american accent being audible in his japanese. Twisting his arms, as he grabbed hold of the two goons with his smaller hands. The moment she spoke, Slumberland would reduce his arms, pulling the goons back at full speed, before making them smash their faces together, shattering the masks they wore. It was clear he wasn't going to back down.
OOC: Currently in Rubber Foam Form.

The clink of her katana slidng back into its sheath could be heard as the very last of her goons rendezvoused at the desk. She'd been to this complex plenty of times. There was a guaranteed exit, they'd just have to work for it. This would become more true when the words of a well known hero took the seen. With two masks falling to his clutches, he exclaimed to them that'd they'd all be arrested. Slinging the sheathed weapon over her shoulder, and pointing upwards, she "Talking myself out of this would mean that it was an accident...or that I feel bad about it... the one upstairs was the only one we intended, this guy just didn't know how to mind his own business." Implying an already achieved second kill on their initial mark.
"Run on three... shoot on two..." It was only loud enough for her remaining lackeys to hear. She pulled two pins for separate things... the weapons HOT as she spoke. "3 " She'd lob a grenade high up, the other down to the floor directly in front of her own group. "2." The masks, along with Kirie would begin backing up, though her gunners began dumping their mags at the hero. "1!" The smoke grenade on the floor started hissing, as the high-lobbed grenade detonated, collapsing the ceiling right over the heroes head. As the chaos began, the villains would make a break for it. The gunfire would cause shrieks to be heard down the hall where they were headed. Kirie had a plan for this super. "We're gonna lead him to the stairwell." She exclaimed leading her men in the right direction!

Slumberland barely had time to drop the two unconscious and now bloody goons as the villain who was obviously in charge seemed to almost brag about the fact that they hadn't killed one person, but two. The wrestler noticed the guns on the others who descended, before he saw the woman mouthing something that he couldn't hear. The sounds of pins being pulled immediately attracted his attention. The crazy woman wa- He didn't get a chance to react as she tossed a pair of grenades. He immediately identified the more dangerous of the two, the fragmentation grenade which had been tossed to the ceiling. Shooting his arm forward he enlarged his hand to a massive size. He'd be burned, and likely have shrapnel in his hand, but it'd contain the explosion for the most part. The hero would only have enough time to see the men raise their guns, before he enlarged his other arm, creating a massive and thick wall of rubber flesh. It wouldn't stop the bullets from injuring him, but it would prevent any lasting damage. The combination of explosion and gun fire impacted him at nearly the same time, causing him to grit his teeth to avoid screaming in pain. He'd definitely need some time to recover after this, but his suit would prevent the worse of damages. When the goons finished emptying their mags, Slumberland would retract his arms, now a bit bloody and such. Honestly his left hand was scorched, and the right arm was littered with lead in his body, but a quick flexing would push the bullets out. What's more, he had somehow prevented the worse from happening and possibly more deaths from the crazy stunt the woman had pulled. They needed to be stopped now.
"This isn't anything new to me." He stated, as guns were still dangers he had to deal with in the US he had learned how to flex and squeezed the bullets out. With Rubber Foam mode he could at least flex and squeeze his muscles to act as temporary pressure. Seeing the smoke though, he realized they were trying to escape, as he enlarged his hand to sweep the smoke away like a giant fan. Hearing the shrieks from the gunfire he followed the sound, seeing them down the hallway. They were likely heading for the stairwell, which meant they were either heading to the upper floors or down to the basement level. Either way he needed to follow quickly Running after them he grabbed a decorative vase before pitching it like a football down the hall towards one of the other goons, nailing the villain in the back of the head. Insurance would cover it, as he ran forward in pursuit.

Kirie would here the loud shatter of the vase as her lackie was downed in this sprint. "Tch, durable bastard and that suit of his... I shoulda brought Gauss. " She grumbled as both she and her last surviving guy took a sharp left into the stairwell. She'd literally clutched the man and throw him up a few more sets since she was faster than him. He'd snag onto the railing and climb over, while Kirie quickly pounced from railing edge to railing edge in an impressive relay of jumps. They were already on the third floor in a matter of seconds. Kirie would momentarily transform her legs into metallic haunches and bring her leg down in a powerful kick. In a loud rumble, the stairs caved in some segments and fragmented in others, meaning Slumberland would have to launch himself from railing to railing as well.
The two villains would duck into the nearest 3rd-floor door and sprint long down the hallway. If Slumberland was quick to catch up, it would be pretty obvious where they were going. Below the 3rd floor sign, was also a large P representing one of the parking garage floors. It was smart on the villains' parts, as parking garages had plenty of places to hide. "We've gotta split up. I can make the jump if I have to... you hotwire a car and skirt outta here at the first chance." Kirie commanded, tossing the masked gunner a flash grenade and frag grenade. On her belt, she still had one frag for herself and a smoke grenade. With a nod, the two ducked behind cars and quietly crept their separate ways. It'd be a bit of cat and mouse game, but if a frag went off, it meant the other person could make a break for it... High risk, high reward... well for her lackie at least. Kirie could fight for herself. She was more worried about getting her last crewman into safety. This was supposed to be a low-stakes mission for her, so her lackeys weren't quirked.
The lackie was no dummy. As he shuffled through the cars. He was looking for something fast but also strong enough to bash through the floor-level gate and onto the main road. This 3rd floor level had plenty of vehicles to choose from, so he'd stay. Kirie would have gone for the top garage level, but she noticed she hadn't heard a car start yet. Since she couldn't confirm her lackey's safety, she too would stay on this level and watch out for Slumberland.

Slumberland barreled forward, running as fast as he could down to catch the first goon. Despite him having knocked the criminal out, he wasn't going to take chances, grabbing the goon before tossing him back into the lobby in a spinning motion! Reinforcements could be heard, a hero having caught the goon as Slumberland shouted back, "We have two casualties! One is upstairs somewhere! I'm in pursuit of the last two!" He barely had time to confirm anything before taking the same left as the two villains had somewhat scrambling and bouncing off the wall in his attempt to keep up. They were fast, that was certain. If he wasn't having to keep his wounds closed to halt the bleeding then he'd have used his spring boots and Foam Form to catch up. Unfortunately he couldn't risk passing out just yet. He needed to at least prevent them from exiting the building long enough for the police to lock the area down.
Of course, that was what he might do if he wasn't madder than a raging longhorn. In all honesty, he was more than willing to put an end to it. He just wanted... no, he NEEDED a clear shot on the two. Entering the stairwell he heard the rumble before he saw it, as one of the villains had kicked a part of the stairwell down as they jumped destroying any easy way to follow them. Slumberland grit his teeth. It seemed as though he had no choice, as he felt his body shift forms. Instantly the staunched wounds began to bleed, the red flowing faster as his arm had difficulty shifting. Right... Blood made shifting difficult. His hand and arm wouldn't be able to shift easily from rubber form, but that was fine, as he engaged his spring boots in combination with his foam form. With this he would shoot himself up, grabbing the railings with ease as his grip conformed to the railing's shape. Soon he was bouncing all the way to the third floor, and into the Parking garage. He barely had enough time to roll in as he brought his fist up, looking around as he did.
This was troublesome... They were in a maze of cars. What's more he wasn't sure how much more ammo or explosives they had...... Looking around he didn't need to think hard on what to do next. The faster he got this shit done, the faster he could get medical attention, and he would be damned if he didn't at least avenge those two who died before he got here! Taking off while still in foam form, Slumberland did the only thing he could do. "I think these cars need a bit of COVER!" He stated, as his abdomen began to expand rapidly, his belly basically forming a memory foam tidal wave as he let himself expand and begin to cover the currently cramped and enclosed space! Both the goon and Kirie would hear his shout, before they saw a massive wall of army green suit begin to cover cars, alarms going off, blaring only to be immediately muffled and drowned by the rapidly encroaching wave that Slumberland was becoming in this cramped space! The goon would barely have time to do anything before he'd be smushed wherever he was, his body pinned and forced into it's own perfect imprint against whatever he had chosen, barely able to have time to pull a pin if he had chosen to in the sheer shock of the wall before himself!

There was a sound from the direction they came. Kirie knew it likely was the hero but he didn't have a eye on either of them. Heroes did this odd thing where they were so vocal and boisterous about their entry. It often gave a split second for villains to adjust. It would be at the moment of his shouting, that another voice could be heard. So the goon was far closer than Kirie was? "ON ME!" Kirie wanted to shout back, but knew it would be bad news if she did. Something skidded along the ground in the direction of the goon's shout, as throwing high was a wasted effort. They needed BIG damage. Kirie's last explosive cleanly landed toward the tailpipe of a car. Flattened to that car was the goon who was using himself as a sacrifice. He had the grenade in his hand, and he struggled to get it close to the opening of the gas tank. He couldn't pull the pin, but that didn't matter. The objective was achieved. The explosion was a violent one, only to be expounded upon by whatever gas was left in the vehicle and the grenade held by her flunkie. That was the plan anyway...
The question was would the explosion be accelerated by the car's remaining gas and the flunkie's grenade OR would Slumberland's wide spread body press pocket the explosion? Regardless, Slumberland was making himself an incredibly easy target for this maneuver. Who knew what kind of result it would yield when he retracted back? Kirie knew deep down, she'd have to face the hero head-on, but depending on the hero and what kind of moves they had, some prerequisites needed to be met.

Slumberland felt the pain before he realized what happened. Shrapnel cut into his belly, but he gritted his teeth. Thankfully the suit would stop most of the big damage, but then he felt the burning sensation and more cutting. Instantly the expansion stopped, the wall of green ceasing it's movements momentarily before it rippled, and began to pull back. The goon was dead.... Slumberland cursed as he saw the damage done to him. His body had basically suffocated the explosion for the most part, no fire having started due to lack of oxygen to fuel the final components, but there was definitely gas now soaked into his wound. It burned heavily and Slumberland realized that he'd likely have chemical burns, along with new scars. The parts of the car that had been ripped apart from the explosion began to slip out, the wall seeming at first to be riddled with sharp scrap shrapnel, only for the bleeding wound to shrink considerably by the time the Hero finally came back into view. A soft ball sized part of his suit was bloody, located on the same side the goon had been on. While there was no lodged metal, it was obvious that cutting implements were actually doing damage to the suit.
Slumberland grunted and looked around. He was certain he had only felt one body being caught. What's more, the explosion he felt was two fold. One detonating right after the other... meaning that the other explosive had been thrown. Walking forward Slumberland spoke up. "Alright, This is your last chance..... Turn yourself in." For now, Slumberland couldn't fully expand several parts of his body. The blood and gas was going to affect him, and he was probably going to be stuck in his rubber form soon if he didn't wrap this up. "The building is already surrounded. By now there are probably even more heroes on their way now that a murder was reported." He listened carefully. Based on what he had seen from the staircases, and how she was willing to do anything to hurt him, he knew that her next move was to look for an opening. He'd give it to her, his body shifting to Feather Form to bend as needed. The moment he hear anything, he'd rotate to face her on the fly, his body twisting and bending to avoid her attack.

" I wish Gauss were here." She muttered to herself. She coughed, quickly wiping blood from her mouth. " I ain't got much time left anyway, might as well go in a blaze of glory." She said to herself while the hero was still exhaling his hero speak. Why they thought she'd listen, or any villain would listen was beyond her. Were there ever any villains that gave themselves up when asked? Completing the mission came first, and that was done already. So all that was left on Kirie's agenda now was to have a good bout.
If the building were surrounded, that'd be her only option anyway. A loud clang could be heard. A car launched, originating from the kick of one of her metallic haunches. At this point, she could see how he was dealing with this. The Little Tyrant, would sprint down directly at the hero with a kitana in her hands. Despite transforming her legs, she wasn't much taller than her original height. Despite the massive weight gain, she was alarmingly fast.
