Revenge is a Dessert Best Served Cold [Scorn-Plot]

The hustle and bustle around the Hosu Library had finally died down. Seemed all the construction and tweaks were finished, meaning Scorn was free to tend to the library however she liked. She could fill it as many books as she liked as long as she took care of any physical paperwork and worked it into the e-files they had. Hosu's foot traffic into such a place was egregiously minimal, but all this work could be passed off as city funding instead of KK's pockets lining this cover operation. In terms of just doing clerical work, it was highly important busy work, but somebody had to do it. There weren't many deadlines, so the young villain could work at her leisure. She also had Beto's help, and Biba for much-needed cuteness when they needed a break from work. The duo's door quirks assisted with the library's maze-like design. They could shift this place any which way, and there were plenty of secret hatches for them or other members to slip into. From one of these hatches, a person emerged. "Welp." She was staring at a complete dead end; a bookcase in front, a brick wall and it was blocked in with other bookcases. Scorn or rather, Chihiro she was told, would likely be working the main desk, right? Scorn sounded like a newbie, but Chihiro sounded familiar. 

The young girl would disappear, and re-emerge in front of the desk as if out of nowhere. Scorn seemed nose-deep in whatever she was reading. It was like she was lost in the world of words in front of her. ~Oh... that Chihiro...~ She exclaimed internally, realizing she knew this person. Well, she knew her name and face. Her mission to aid the girl was making more sense now. Nobody told Scorn today would be thee day... Knocking on the desk, "Ooooi~!" This girl was in her gear already. It was an attempt at being low profile, but it was an incredibly loud outfit... -honestly not a far cry from how Team Confidence operated, covert yet obnoxious at times. She donned A hooded raincoat, boots, cap and a mask. ~She won't even recognize me with all of this on. Lemme make this easier...~ She thought.




  She smiled removing the mask, hood and cap. Her red eyes, pointed ears, and pink hair were a dead giveaway. Who was she again?  It was one of the kids who disappeared around the same time Naoki did. Her name was P, or at least that's what she told people to call her. The two and many other young kids were part of KK's machinations far before it was even called Team Confidence. The girl was shrouded in a fair amount of mystery back then... even now.  "With KK locked up in jail, we were told business as usual. In your case, I'm supposed to help you with some loose ends. That counts as usual, right?" Of course, neither of them would be told too many details. Part of the TC fun was the surprises packed into missions, whether for the victims or the members themelves.  With Scorn being his favorite person to annoy, the cheap KK surprises were tenfold. Hopefully, Chihiro would understand a blast from the past, and "loose ends" could only mean one thing. 


She paused to think about it. P had a more shy personality back then. Did they even speak to one another that often when they were young? She knew of her and her boy toy well enough. It was the gossip back then. Maybe that's why she was directed to help. She was one of the few people not dead or in jail to help. What a way to re-meet someone... -because they were the only option. Still, P needed this to get done. This was her in as an official member. Introducing herself was in order... Maybe this was too late. Maybe she should have led with this... "Pinella Santa, good to see you, again." Beto said, walking by with Biba rest on his hip. He'd shove a few bookcases out of the way and aim toward the kid's section. He was going to read his granddaughter a story. Ah... that family vibe. Pinella always hated that... seeing as her identity was kept secret. "Yeah, that's... hi." She waved to the two, then to Chihiro. "P... call me P." Well, this was more awkward of an introduction than necessary... She prayed the girl wouldn't judge her harshly. At the very least, Scorn would be able to quickly search the name she just heard on the computer. 



So... KK stuck his daughter with his favorite not-daughter for a mission. Cute... a play date. Was this actually all KK's idea? P would haphazardly just blurt out, "This mission was Pill's idea." In short, her mother's idea. Continuing on, she just got to the point as to not confuse Scorn. "We're looking for Naoki." The girl steeled herself. There was no telling what kind of reaction she was going to get. Her scarlet eyes peered at the girl in front of her, anticipating the worst. Chihiro and that boy were two peas in a pod last time she saw them... While the other kids vanished, P had her first mission coming up. She missed what actually happened.
