Faliwah had landed a gig in mustafusu. It was to be a part of a heritage festival that was being held and there were other performers but she would take her chances where she could get it. This was her first real gig, which was nice to finally be able to create show that was worthy enough to impress any recruiters.
She may not have been an opening act, or a closing one either but she was here and she could enjoy the festival in the meantime. It drew quite the crowd, which boosted Faliwahs excitement and energy. To know that all these people were going to be watching her was exciting.
Soon enough it would be her turn to perform. She was backstage an hour prior getting her piece perfected. Dancing in front of her mirror. She had the perfect ensemble, beautiful war fans that were reminiscent of summer. It was beautiful hues of red and orange and the blades were red, glistening like it were blood. Her outfit was of a similar color scheme but somewhat Gothic in nature. Her kimono was not the classic one of flowers but had more abstract art patterns on it. She was telling a story of a battle, a war and it would be apparent in her choice of song, movements, and overall mood. Thanks to the influence her new friends Hokori and Youta her music was modern with a traditional flair to it. She hoped it was flawless, that is represented what she had wanted in this new dance style that she had been working so hard on creating.
The finale of her part was soon there, her dance being a total of 10 minutes long. It would sing of victory. It was upbeat, cheerful and maybe even hopeful. This would be her once chance to put her mark on the world both as a performer and her chance of getting closer to the upper ranks when she would finally become a proper hero

Two heroes patrolled the event. By patrol, they were really just enjoying the festivities. Their being there would help deter any villain activity. Speed greeted people with a smile, while Panda was swarmed with people wanting to take selfies. After the impromptu meet and greet, the two would listen to the music and enjoy the different food offerings. There was a dance recital on the festival's schedule. The slip-n-slide hero was adamant about going! "A dance recital?" Raiun groaned. Speed cackled as the two found their seats. "One of those UA 3rd years is performing. Just enjoy the show, kid." He'd pat the young hero on the head and plopped down. Throughout the performance leading up to Fali's finale, they would debate in a whisper. "But what's dancing have to do with being a hero?" Raiun frowned, before continuing. "Isn't my suggestion for Crest enough? That kid... Ivan is a legacy kid from overseas. He has the confidence, raw powe and the want to become a pillar of justice. A dancer, Speed, really?!?" The young hero had trouble understanding the logic. They hadn't gotten to talk to Fali, so maybe Speed was waiting for after to get a full interview. At least, this was Raiun's thinking. Speed simply shook his head at his disciple. "Yes... Ivan's a shoe in. Quite the attitude on him... and temper, hehehe, we don't openly accept applications so I didn't expect him to deny my exclusive invitation. I was MORE surprised he changed his mind and joined last minute. His parents already drilled the instincts of a hero into him... he just needs to grow the fuck up. That's not something I can teach though. He'll have to have that battle with himself and stop being his own worst enemy." He kicked his feet up on the empty seat in front of him and leaned back. "I'll answer your question with a question when the time comes. " He chuckled, wagging his finger to the melody. Both heroes clammed up as Fali's performance began. Speed wrapped his arm around Raiun and pulled him close. "Tell me what you see. How do you see, Fanmurai, or in this case, Faliwah the dancer?" Despite his learning curve for combat and heroics, Raiun needed the most coaching. He was still a kid after all... Speed wanted to give him as many keys as possible, especially when it came to running an agency. Was this a trick question or something? The teen squinted at Mayoi... "She's a good dancer, so what?" Mayoi raised his eyebrows, "More than that?"The boy stared at Faliwah before looking back at his senpai. "I guess if someone asked me how the recital was, I'd probably say she's the best dancer...? But I still don't see what that has to do wi-"Speed buzzed, "Ding ding ding! You still don't get it though. Think harder. What do people think when they think of Strive?"Raiun tilted his head. "The pillar of justice...? He'll always be there to beat the bad guy or save the victim. Simple as that.""Precisely! In the same way Faliwah's dancing can make all the other dancers seem like no names, Strive is the undisputed number 1 hero. There's a certain invoking of emotions that comes with being great. Besides celebrity, there's trust, empowerment, bravery... HOPE. If she can invoke these things with just her dancing, I'm going to take that star power and push her toward the real center stage." Speed explained. "I don't want a hero, I want THEE HERO. People who I think have the potential to be number 1 themselves. Being the best hero requires ego to be great and pure intentions as a hero... number 13." Poking fun at the very thing Raiun flaunted around in the agency. "Mmm," Raiun nodded finally catching Speed's drift. The two stood as the crowd began clapping for Faliwah's final moments on stage. They'd be backstage and ready for when she would come out of her performance. Speed stood tall as he always did, with arms crossed and a smirk on his face. Raiun stood beside him with his hands in his pocket, taking mental notes of what was to come. With the crowd roaring and clapping in the background, Speed, "You're in!" Rainu would facepalm, and sigh. "Explain it better than that, sir..." Almost by reflex to his disciple's words, Speed would strike a pose and point directly at the performer and- "Wafliaflia Faliwah from UA 3b... Fanmurai, will you be joining my agency?"

Before stepping off stage as her performance ended, she gave the audience a graceful bow and with a flick of her hands, she closed her fans and stored them on her Obi as she walked off.
She was expecting a chance to wind down after her performance. She definitely wasn't expecting to be bombarded by a pair of heros about... Whatever it was they were here for. It was bewildering but Faliwah kept her composure through the confusion. Meeting the heros didn't phase her as it would most people. To her they were just regular people, though that's not to say she didn't recognize them. Of course she had. To be great she had to be familiar with the greats.
Sumimasen in.... What Speed-San?"
She asked as the younger hero next to him face palmed. Soon enough she would get an answer and her own response to it was simple. She would be a fool to turn down such an invitation. She would give them both a deep bow in thanks but beyond that, her attitude was casual
Domo Arigato goziamsu. I would graciously accept the invitation. I take it you enjoyed the show?"
She asked, as she straightened herself out. It was as if this was typical conversation for her, with regular people. She showed no signs of being star struck, as if she were just talking to normal people

They might have been rivals due to the similar nature of their Quirks, but that didn't mean Faliwah and Shinja hadn't set up a rapport over their several years in U.A., and Shinja had an appreciation for the traditional. She had near front row seats among civilians and heroes alike, despite the dangers that were ever growing for students... Shinja had been the victim of enough schemes now to see when one was coming. She wasn't worried about attending her classmate's recital.
It was beautiful, really. Shinja felt reminded of her own flying, a fluid and capable display that swept uer away from her seat for the whole ten minutes. She applauded loudly when it finished, and made her way to try and see Faliwah backstage. She had ti congratulate her on her performance!
It was certainly a surprise to see Speed and Storm Surge Panda there first. Shinja stopped before she could interrupt, ducking off to one side into the shadows. It felt weird, like she was spying... but it must be important, and she didn't want to get in the way! Slowly she listened out... and felt herself grinning. An invite to Speed's agency was an amazing honour!
Slowly she stepped out, making it look like she had just arrived, giving a small wave to Faliwah.
"Hey! Sorry if I'm interrupting... ah, good evening Speed, Storm Surge Panda."
Shinja bowed politely to them both, before shooting a wink Faliwah's way.

Speed placed his hands on his hips. Yes, that was a proper response. He had another young hero in his ranks! If he had an extra hand he'd pat himself on the back. The two paused, Speed swiftly waved the question off with some brutal honesty. "Not big on dance recitals, I like concerts more." Raiun would double behind him with a- "Same." They approached because she was objectively the most skilled person there, and by Mayoi's measure, she had the star power for it. It was at this point a fellow 3rd year showed up. There faces were... well, Shinja was known for a multitude of reasons compared to her other classmates. Speed knew of the first Aeronaut and some murmurs about being kidnapped when he did some research on each class, Raiun remembered her being one of the class' big 3 members for her sports festival.
The two heroes' eyes met but for a different conclusion. Before Raiun could even ask 'what about her', Speed shook his head no. This young hero was already in the agency of someone he hated. Why were these kids so formal? It was weird... "HEY!" They should know better. "Both of you stop being so shy. Talk to me like a regular person." He exhaled. Raiun would just wave, and smile before giving a brief rundown what had just happened. It's not like it was a secret or anything. Speed was equally as upfront as his partner Strive. "Thanks for your support. The conversation I thought they were going to have went a lot shorter than anticipated. Your friend is an intern of SPR now."
"Before we get ahead ourselves, did you have any questions for me, Fanmurai?"

Faliwah nodded in understanding. though personally disappointed, she understood that not everyone shared the same interests. she thought for a moment, reflecting on her dancing when an unexpected surprise showed up. Shinja being there was a pleasant surprise, and she even smiled for a moment as she bowed to her classmate and rival
Ohaiogozimas shinja-san, I hope you had a pleasant experience with the performances"
she was ever formal, this was her normal way of addressing people so Raiuns outburst was rather confusing. she never thought of herself as a shy person
Sumimasen speed-san but I don't know what you mean."
she seemed serious, and genuine in her questioning. she would bow once again to Speed before speaking up to answer his question
Yes, I do actually. I have heard the rumors of a new agency being founded by you but not much is known about it, and I would like to know what it is that I'm exactly getting myself into. I also believe it to be prudent to know when I would start, and where I would first meet for my first day"
she would state matter of factly, as if she were making a statement instead of asking a question

Shinja raised her arms in a cross in front of her face, flinching as Speed shouted at her. She gave an apologetic grin. He was intense! His sidekick was less so, and she thought there was an unspoken question between them when she arrived.
"Wow... I didn't realise you had an agency. If I wasn't already in Nocturne's, I would have liked to intern under you, Speed!"
Shinja looked towards Walifah. Her rival was making strides as well, as they made their way yowsrds their final exam and becoming true pro-heroes. Everyone was focused on the goal, not far off and very much a reality!

Speed raised an eyebrow. So being formal was a natural thing for Faliwah? He shot a look to his protégé, who would shrug in response. Back to Faliwah, Speed- "Mmm." Acceptable, he wouldn't bother Faliwah about shyness or formalness if it couldn't be helped. A quick nod to Shinja, Speed- "Mmm." Acceptable! He was indeed a greater pick than Shitturne. Shinja had good taste, but he wouldn't impede on someone else's intern. Speed would place his fists on his hips and nod one final time before answering Faliwah. It was a powerful pose. Raiun rolled his eyes, getting behind him and created a follow-up pose. A peace sign over his eye and a wink. Although unenthused, he seemingly fit right in behind his mentor. "Ah yes, what WILL she be doing, Storm Surge Panda? HEY!" He passed to his protégé. "HEY! SPR, we are the Speedy Protection and Rescue Unit""You can call us-" Another way to call the agency. Raiun was very obviously displeased with Speed's antic. It was like a hyper-uncle dragging his nephew around. "Super!"
Rather than letting Speed get away with his usual fanfare, the young hero would cut to the chase. "Your first day is the day you feel ready. We have our home base in Tokyo, where all the action is." He passed her a business card. It was remarkably professional despite how Speed presented himself. It included an address and extension to their hero hotline. "More importantly, what you'll be doing is getting acclimated to our procedures. Then, with more experience, you'll be given a longer leash to act on your own. We operate in Rescue and Defense Planning. That means we focus on rescue above all else. Saving people. Rescuing people and finding ways to make that job easier is our top priority." He stated, there was much more life coming into his expression. Heroics is what the young guy was passionate about. Speed gave a thumbs-up in the background. Seemed like had the explanation under control, so he'd continue to let Raiun keep going. "Defense planning... We'll be faced with villains, of course. Sometimes, cover missions are needed so we have recently partnered with the Hero Commis-""The rest of that is classified." Speed covered Panda's mouth, and doubled down on his motive for contacting her. "I only want heroes who have the potential, the true ego of a hero, and star power to inspire courage in civillians. We're striving to become the Pillars of Justice. " This was a man who worked side by side with Strive since he was young. He essentially was holding every hero to an incredibly he standard by saying something so ambitious and cherry picking interns who he felt "worthy." "That is my true goal. " He said smiling big. By Mayoi's philosophy, pillar or not, one hero couldn't shoulder all the weight of Japan's villain society on their own. To counteract this, the only way in his head was to create more than one pillar under his wing. Every single person in his agency, including himself had direct aspirations to be number one. Pointing behind him to represent the past, "Silver Age." Pointing to himself to represent the present crop of heroes, including Strive and his top ten allies, "Golden Era..." Lastly, he'd point to the skies. "I'm gonna make the next generation of heroes, YOUR generation of heroes the Justice era!" He spoke with fire, and conviction.
