The arena was set, the crowd was roaring, everyone was waiting for the next fight to take place. It was exciting, the heros fighting was an amazing event so far and everyone couldn't wait to see who would come out on top of it all. The next fight was a spectacle to be sure. Redstone and Moonbeam were next up and the stage was ready for them both. the electric fences were up and buzzing a menacing buzz. even though everyone knew that the damage from them was miniscule compared to what the heros would likely dish out to the other competitor, the image of them was enough to strike excitement into the crowds hearts. for the heros, it was a reminder that they had the option to either knock out or strike out and for the ranged fighters of this tourney, it meant that they had to be careful too. It was amazing. It was beautiful. It was all about to begin

Vindicator sped out to the center of the arena. She took up a firm stance to look over the crowd before bringing the mic close to her face. She looked out and waved her hands higher for the crowd to get louder like an old school wrestling match. Once the crowd was hyped up enough she tapped the mic and grinned. "Are you ready?" She bellowed, waiting for the crowd to roar. "In this match! We have the Terrain Hero Redstone versus... the number six ranked hero in Japan, Moonbeam!" Vindicator said, cheesing it up for the crowd. "I want a nice clean match, so let's have some fun!" She said before crouching down, her leg muscles bulging before breaking into a jump that led into a sprint. Vindicator then twisted around and ran backwards out of the way. "FIGHT!"

Ah. Showmanship, fan fare, showing off. He cared for none of it. If this had not been a charitable event, he wouldn't have participated. In the stands, his eyes briefly parsed through the crowd. Yes. He was here for his brother in arms. Maybe brother in cape made more sense. He was here for Gigabite, he was here for Koriban House of Hope, and most importantly his charity pick was going to be for trouble youth. When he heard this money could go to the charity of the winner's choice, his daughter immediately crossed his mind, and the many people in Koriban who'd turn a new leaf. This was an excellent reason to join. An excellent reason indeed. The man huffed. But did this have to be soooooo? No he wouldn't say it. He'd abide by the situation he agreed to. This was a fight, so he'd fight. Redstone paid no attention to the crowd, he only looked toward the announcer, then to his opponent. "Thank you." A slight bow to vindicator, and the gesture would proceed to Moon Beam. "Pleasure." Without further a do, the terrain hero stomped on the ground, caving his immediate area in. The method would create a ditch for himself, but it also would gift him with as much raw earth as he needed. Softly he'd place a palm onto the ground facing Moonbeam's direction and create a localized earthquake. He was going to shove her into a violently constructed ditch as well if she didn't get out of the way.

In her saucy gait,Moonbeam arrived on stage and faced Redstone respectfully. Moments before the call to fight was issued, she'd graciously take one gloved hand to her trenchcoat and undid the buttons. In the next moment, she'd pull it off of herself in one swift motion, revealing a rather astute set of business attire beneath such as a dress shirt, pants, and a belt coupled with her trademark boots. the trenchcoat would be caught by an easily recognizable sidekick from her agency, Las Vegas. They fumbled with the trenchcoat but neatly folded it in their grasp once they composed themselves.
She would acknowledge Vindicator with a small wave then the hero looked back to Redstone and nodded at his bow. "Likewise." she'd keep it short, same as him. She pulled on her gloves to ensure they were on tightly. This was one of Klaus' people, correct? He had such impeccable taste. She watched as he made himself a ditch and immediately took a stance. She viewed him reaching for the ground and her sleuth brain had already picked up on an earthly-based Quirk. As such, her reflexes allowed her to move quickly to avoid the immediate quake that moved onto her previous position.
As she moved, she'd place her left hand upon her shades and unveil them to let one and all see those glowing eyes that made her so popular. Her head moved with precise trajectory as her eyes zeroed in on where Redstone was standing. Almost as soon as she did, those bright blue beams of light of her Lunar Ray Quirk flashed from her eyes. The beams themselves streaked directly at Redstone's ditch, striking the immediate area between his feet.
The cold fire persisted for only a moment and then Redstone would feel a drastic heaviness in the air that immediately exerted a force down upon him. Moonbeam, meanwhile, would be in a defensive stance once more with eyes locked on him; assessing his next move. Even though the sudden sharp increase in gravity, she knew, would hnder most, she didn't want to take any chances. Especially not one who had likely trained with Klaus.

From the ditch he was in, he couldn't see if his quake and pitfall trap worked. He had a feeling it wouldn't but it was a part of the game plan. He made not even the slightest attempt to dodge Moonbeam's gravitation beam, he'd simply pick up a large boulder in his immediate area and use it to block. The Terrain Hero wanted to know exactly what her gravity felt like. He could shift mountains, but how would it compare to the weight of gravity force? The boulder would explode and the fragments from the resounding impact fell with way more force than expected, along with an impending force that pressed onto him. The ground around him shifted as well, the loose clumps of dirt and rock would find their way to the center of the ditch. Rather than fight it, he'd "fall." Upon further inspection, no body would be found. He found comfort in the fact this wasn't going to be a one-sided battle. He could give Koriban fans a good show, and get the win if he played his cards right.
Restone would rise from the ground without any hole or even interrupting the surface. He looked different. His entire body was a mix of dark browns, greys and even red. Before breaching the surface, he equipped himself with refined soil, and different types of broken-down stones as a second layer of skin. Even his furry cloak and hair seemed to shift into a red muddy tone. "WARdrobe." His icy blue eyes remained true through his now literal mountain man appearance. He'd reach under his cloak, and pull the riot shield from his back. Even that was tint a red hue from refined broken stone, and soils. He looked onto his opponent with respect. He kept his eyes peeled for any movements she'd make. This was the number 6 hero after all.

She had dealt with all kinds of villains in the past. From the most bull-headed mutants down to the most wily of Emitters. Sometimes, even other heroes who just needed to be calmed down. The moment she noticed Redstone vanish, her deductive brain took over. Where could he have gone? Invisible? No. There'd be an imprint giving him away. Fast? No. Her gravity was too strong to get anywhere.
She smirked. Just as he arose, her speculation aligned. He had morphed along with the ground to escape the gravity's pressure and gathered the soil around him to form a secondary layer of "skin". She turned to gauge his appearance, gave a nod of approval from her followed by a thumbs up.
Then she eyed the shield. She had a decent idea how his Quirk worked. In one regard, anyhow. But was he aware to the extent that hers covered? A test. But also, a show of her Quirk to not only entertain the crowd but to see how well Redstone had been trained.
She closed her eyes only briefly. For when she reopened them, she looked to be aiming straight at the shield had drawn...but immediately after would sweep the beam past the shield and ducked low to encompass the arena in its entirety. As she encircled it with the beam, she made sure to keep her distance. The blue beam gave rise to a low and steady flame of similar color. With the cold fire now surrounding them both, it gave an eerie illumination to both the heroes. But the initial blast that had struck the shield had already started affecting it.
Moreover, the ring of blue flames were persisting and the area along the fringes looked slightly distorted.
"Festival of Eclipse."

The terrain took a knee and bolstered down, the majority of his body tucked behind the hardened ballistic shield. The blast would dissipate after it's heavy strike and Redstone stayed in the same position... almost like a statue. The gravity seemed to not affect him, at least not from a glance. This wasn't the case at all. He was using his quirk to keep himself up, while his body creaked and struggling on the inside of the makeshift shell.. He wasn't going to move his body against gravity. He'd just keep the earthly wardrobe intact and this subsequently kept him in place with his quirk. He realized with this methodology, he likely could move around as well. It would take getting used to, but gravity creating an impending downward force was only going to force him into his precious resource. For now, he'd choose his to redeploy his prior tactics. Fighting her would be the same as fighting anyone else, he just needed to tweak a few things.
It was subtle and very hard to pick up, but the ground was shifting. It was obvious due to the influx of gravity, but with his palm on the ground, he could feel certain parts of the ground were more heavily impacted than others. This field had its own tricks apparently. "Mmm... I can fight under these conditions." Before seeping into the ground once more. Almost immediately after the ground beneath Chisako's feet would begin to shatter and crack apart in a violent quake. He was aiming to take her legs out from below. This quake seemed bigger and more wide spread than the last.

It was never easy to be this high in the standings and not feel the pressure. She had been used to dealing with all manner of villains and heroes but never one so adept at handling her Quirk as Redstone. If she had a fedora (like she wanted for her birthday) she would tip it to this hero. Everyone had come so far these days, it almost felt like her own training had become lackluster in comparison. He could simply avoid the gravity wells she created by melding with the ground and moving elsewhere or even create this rippling tremors that erupted into quakes from a safe distance. All her quirk did was bring him closer to his very own.
As she felt the ground crumble beneath her, so too did she feel the own ground she stood upon as a hero start to crumble.
All the scenarios she played out in her head on how to find a way to win this wound up at dead ends. He would do this. It would end up like that. No, that wouldn't work. It wasn't like this was a life or death situation. This was meant to be a fun competition. So why was it so important all of a sudden?
She had been stuck on thinking inside the box and that restrictiveness was getting tiresome. Using her Quirk directly upon everything else in her environment. Was it really such a predictable thing? Everyone else had found unique ways to utilize her Quirk and she believed she had not. Had she stagnated? Impossible! She was smart and she knew it. What wasn't she thinking about? Outside the box, Chisako!
Her line of thinking reached the peak when she used what strength she had in her legs to push off the fragile earth but realizing her jump was not high enough. If she kept on going, she would land still in the area of effect Redstone had caused, fall prey to the effects, and likely cause a loss. Her last effort to avoid this was to face down and fire off a shot to increase her range and also let her see the situation on the terrain below.
They were underground. One with the terrain. How long could they keep that up? Always ask yourself questions. That was what she had trained herself to do. Eventually, an answer would emerge and she could pull through. And found an answer she did for when she saw the terrain, she wanted to try a few new things she had been experimenting with.
To halt her descent, she'd aim a beam from her quirk at specific spots on the terrain; spots she believed Redstone might resurface upon. Then when she reached the spot he had been last spotted upon, she did something she never thought to do; she aimed a small burst at her own landing point and put all of herself into a slam utilizing the focused gravity to increase the impact of her attack then back off before it had a chance to negatively affect her.

Deeper... deeper. He'd travel farther down as the earth around him shook, crackled and crumbled under the pressure of Moonbeam's gravity. He could even feel the pressure from way down here. It was quite painful. She was too impressive. Fighting such a foe captivated him to throw out a big move of his own. With such a high focus of attacks, surfacing without WARdrobe would be impossible. He'd aim collect as much raw materials are he could before he did so. The ground at the surface weathered under the pressure, but at the same time pressed down to create fine rocks and even stronger boulders below. All of it could be could be used! Well done, indeed. The ground would shift once more though this wasn't a quake or pit trap. Akai would grit his teeth and force himself and as much terrain he could muster upward. With impressive speed, an incredibly large golem like statue of Redstone shaped itself. Now that he was up, he needed to be quick about his attack. All he needed was a few moments, though he was being squeeze in his own structure... Its large presence struggled to even stay in tact against the heightened gravity fields, but that was the point. With it's large arms and torso, the golem leaned over Moonbeam. It held it's arms out and over her aiming to grab her up, but gravity would fight against it. "Collapsing Cave."
Releasing his wardrobe also meant letting all those heavy boulders fall victim to the pressure of Moonbeam's gravity. The golem wouldn't last and it pretty much meant that mountainous body he sculpted would come crashing down on his opponent. A loud crash would be heard, as Redstone's body was immediately slammed into the ground when his body was released from the crumbling golem. He'd groan in pain and seep below the surface, before any boulders could crash down on top of him.

Moments before he arose, Moonbeam herself finally felt that psychedelic hit of what the bout was all...about. That feeling of not knowing where her adversary was. They could pop up at any time from anywhere. It was a challenging exercise for her brain that began to pump the dopamine into her system. She smiled. Her hand clenched as she raised her head in time to see Redstone's impressive display of a golem. She could tell he put alot of effort into making it, knowing just how much it'd be affected by her gravity.
The moment it went for her, she realized just how much it had towered over her...only to begin collapsing. She looked impressed, mouth agape with surprise. Not only at the size of the creation but also Redstone's thinking to let her gravity pull the creation down faster. Using her own Quirk against her. How splendidly creative!
It felt like an entire mountain was falling down upon her. Crumbling bit by bit as the chunks careened toward her. Jerking her body left and right, she took great effort to avoid every piece as it moved into her line of sight. Every slam of earth would make the ground tremble for her, making her movement after more and more difficult. She had nearly ran straight into a fallen chunk then grazed the edges of another.
She then reached the fringes outside of the fall zone...or so she thought. One last piece emerged through the dust, directly falling upon her. She swept her leg along the ground to clear up the remainder of her cold fire from her ray. Then did some quick thinking. She faced upward and screamed. Instead of the fast, quick rays she usually fired...a huge burst issued forth like a beacon that pierced the sky. She forced the gravity all upon the chunk, making it collapse in on itself til its size was greatly diminished.
But not nearly enough. The blast ended and the remaining piece slammed down, hitting her left shoulder and forcing her to the ground. She called out in pain and held her afflicted area. She grit her teeth and clenched her fist through the pain. Her eyes were also clenched shut as that blast took a good bit out of her. It could have been much worse.

Redstone pressed into the ground, only to arrive to his feet the next moment. Blood dripped down his forehead as he shook his head no. Perhaps joining this bout was the wrong decision. As he racked his brain to create more powerful attacks, he couldn't help but think about Moonbeam also upping the anty. They were already tearing up the feild as is. More devastating attacks would only end up putting the crowd in danger. It would be an insult to being a hero to do such a thing.
With a long hard stare at his agency head, Akai had to make a decision. While this tournament was a great way to show himself as a hero, and bring good media to the Koriban house, he wanted to hang his hat on something he could be proud of. While this decision wasn't an easy one, he'd turn his attention to his opponent. With a deep bow to the opposing hero, his stony exterior returned to human flesh; his spiky mountain of hair, returning to his wooly red luster. To his opponent, he'd pass a grunt and a huff. "For the safety of everyone around us, I'd like to concede. Deepest apologies Moonbeam... I can't help but start thinking of the crowd as our tactics get more intense. I'd be beside myself if anything were to happen to anyone." It was the best thing he could do despite his naturally stoic nature. Raising his hand to the sky, he'd make the same claim to the referee-"I concede."
