IntroductionWelcome to a world where the unreal comes alive and the mundane is a hair's breadth away from the fantastic. A world of knights, magic and creatures beyond imagination, where anyone can step out of their door onto a grand adventure. The kingdom of Galt is plagued with many evils, and it is up to you in how you will rise to meet it - or join it. Myth is an open fantasy campaign where the best opportunities will come from those bold enough to make it for themselves. It is fully traditional, meaning every character action has a moderator response, and everything you do will cause ripples in the world around you. How your character acts, the directions they choose and the path they desire, no matter how good or evil, is completely up to you.

Rules No Godmodding
This is a fully traditional roleplay, which means everything outside of your character's actions will be dictated by a moderator. Your character can interact with the world around them, including the people, but you should avoid concluding what the action does, leaving that to the mod. Additionally, any knowledge that you may have will not be the same as your character, and this meta-thinking should be avoided when deciding what your character's choices are. Sometimes characters make dumb mistakes that we can see coming a mile off, and that's okay! One Character Limit
Myth has a one character limit, which is in place to maximize the development and enjoyment of the players. There will always be opportunity for action and adventure for every character, so there is no worry about a lack of activity. With mod discussion, characters can be in nearly every role, or part of any race, push plots along and get swept away by other stories. With that in mind, the moderator team want everyone to focus on a single character, to really get the most out of Myth without being spread too thin. If you wish to change characters at any point then this will require a discussion with the moderator team, to determine the fate of your current character. Prolonged Inactivity
The moderators will keep activity going for every player, and hope that each player wishes the same! We will keep an eye on players who aren't posting regularly, communicating about characters that have gone stagnant and ground to a halt. The moderators will make sure every character has access to grand adventures. If you do know that you will have periods of inactivity, then please let us know beforehand. Continued inactivity without warning may lead to the characters being turned into NPCs and used elsewhere. Moderators will create threads and adventures
Once your character has been approved, your first adventure thread will be created and your character can start on their epic quest. Please don't start threads yourself, or try to roleplay freeform. If you wish to interact with other characters, then we can take steps to try and intertwine stories, but nothing will be sandbox, and every thread and action will be moderated.

The Way of the World
There are plenty of ways to get by in the world of Myth. People from all creeds, races and backgrounds make their living in Galt, and the worlds beyond. Your calling can be the mundane, or with lofty expectations beyond your currently standing. You can live for yourself, or for others, or for a chosen individual. Anything can be possible within Myth, so any character can step forth and make their own way in the world.
Galt stands stooped in poverty and bigotry. Humans have taken it upon themselves to shun the other races, to push them to the borders of what they claim to be "their world". A hundred years of imperialism has lead to a divided world within the borders of this once great country, and non-humans are often to blame. Yet not all humans in Galt view other races with hatred or disdain. There are towns and villages where they are welcomed, and even work alongside humans. The further from the capitol you go, the more inclusivity you see.
The divide between the wealthy and the poor is the worst it has been since the Civil War. Hunger ripples through the country in waves, as harvests seem to fail every other year. Yet the capitol never starves, and only those beyond its borders struggle. Every year, the non-human races are blamed, and every year the rich get richer from the fat of the land.
More and more people have begun to wander, and travel across Galt. Restlessness is a disease in the hearts of the young folk, who see no future in staying in one pace. The older generations hold their own, especially those rooted into the capitol and the ruling classes, viewing the ideas of change as dangerous to their way of life. Seeds are sown across Galt as a new age threatens the old world. People are wanting change, yet fear it at the same time. What happens next is up to you...
