It had been a long road, in a short amount of time. From Vigilante, to trainee, and now a fully-fledged licensed Pro-Hero in her own right. Bonnie mulled over this as she patrolled solo, her baked mask sitting neatly and comfortably across the bridge of her nose. Her hero uniform, proudly maintained and ironed every day, was a testament to her history, and her future. She was proud to be here, as a hero, recognised by the people as she strolled down an area of down-town Mustufu, an over-baked stave held like a walking stick as she moved amongst the crowds.
The Pro-Hero, Little Chef, was on the look out for any half-baked villains that might looking to stir up some trouble!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nearby, there was trouble rising. Two figures, deep in conversation, with nefarious ideas on their minds. Villains were always lurking in the shadows, waiting to strike when they thought they had a chance...

On a rooftop stood a figure clad in white. A black mask would interrupt the stark fabric along with the gold patterns decorating the shroud. It was if this person was a personification of the sun itself. They'd peer down on the city streets below. So this was Musutafu? It was her first time seeing it. This was a city ridden with heroes. Despite having an adamant hand in the underground of Tokyo's villainous scene, it seems the Yakuza's forces were weakest here... The point here was to inspect rather than get involved, but if Kogane Mask was needed, she'd appear. Whether it was her or the generations before her, this golden mask was a beacon. In this day and age, the people spoke of pillars. The mask had always stood as a Pillar of Order, its wearer would deploy that order in whatever way they saw fit. Be it through vile or just means, the end goal was the same. They sought control. Kogane was no different. She'd been held up in Sendai for most of her life, and training in the latter half. Coming down this way was a feat of business. She'd infiltrate and take over this alliance proposed by Katagiri. His forces had recently slain Nocturne. For them, it was good news and more area to conquer. It was beyond her, why they'd skip over such a bustling city. There was money to be made here as well. Perhaps she'd figure a few things out here today. Kogane Mask would get consumed by a glimmer of light, only to reappear on an adjacent roof. She'd continue until she found something of interest. "Oh?" There was someone. This person was in the newspapers at one point. A vigilante woman with a devious quirk. There was word that she'd been captured, but what had come up of her now? Perhaps she was someone who could be reasoned with. As far as forces went, her group had more business and political prowess than combatants. For now, Kogane Mask kept her distance, only watching from above.

Bonnie paused at a corner connecting two streets, looking up at the dark sky above. She gripped her stave with conviction, feeling a strong welling of determination in her heart. Nearby, civilians waved at her as they passed, smiling and laughing amongst themselves. Bonnie smiled to herself too. The feeling of safety was a good one, and now she was one of those creating that. Being a Vigilante had satisfied part of her soul, but the recognition that came with it... that which she and the others had spurned originally... it made her feel good. She adjusted her mask, making her way down a quieter road.
It was then that the two figures emerged from an alley. One was a large, hulking man, the other short and scrawny. Both wore black bandanas across their eyes, opened with slits to allow vision. They were, in fact, a fairly notorious pair in this area. The Twist-Fist gang, wanted for a string of violent robberies across Mutsufu.
Little Chef recognised them immediately. They recognised her as they turned, stopping in their tracks. She swallowed, but lifted her stave and pointed it at them.
"Hold it right there! The two of you are wanted for-"
Bonnie had little time to finish her sentence, as the shorter member stuck out a hand, fingers curled into the shape of a gun. She leapt to one side as a thin beam of light shot out, hitting a spot behind her, and exploding. He grunted, brow creasing in irritation.
"Tch. I missed. Hey, Fist, let's crush this Hero, okay?"
"Yurr! Ya got it, Twist!"
The villain named Fist lumbered towards Little Chef. She leapt to her feet, spinning the stave around. Remember your lessons... She breathed out as the big man approached, raising a hand over his head, and swinging down a fist like a hammer. It slammed hard on the ground, inches away from where Bonnie had been standing. She was already moving, spinning as she went, her stave slamming out into the villain's kneecap. There was a crunch, and he howled in pain, just as Bonnie swung the other way into the back of his legs, forcing him to one knee.
As she turned to deal another blow, Twist raised his hand again, squeezing one eye shut as he pointed at Little Chef's back...

The masked villain continued to stalk Bonnie as she patrolled. At the stop in a quiet area, she too would stop. Bonnie seemed to have stumbled onto a villain gang, a duo to be exact. The mask couldn't recognize them, but Little Chef sure did. ~I'm sure just striking them before speaking would have been more efficient.~ She thought to herself. She batted her eyes as Bonnie fought. "All this waiting around will run me ragged. A closer look is in order." The Kogane Mask would descend from the roof. Light on her feet, she'd land with a bounce. The smaller one boast a literal hand gun while the other was more of a "strong arm." The villain would rest her clawed hand on her mask, and vanish into thin air before she could be spotted. Light bent around her as she walked, with all the attention on the Little Chef, she'd move in as she pleased. "A golden wind is passing through. It's best you abide by the breeze or else its gentle winds will slit your throat." Kogane Mask finally made her presence known, her clawed hand reaching for the man's gun-toting hand. She'd release her prism gold. Beside Twist was a tall figure, dwarfing even Bonnie. The brilliance of her mask shined, but more importantly, so did the sharp claws on her hand. She wanted him to flinch, hell, she wanted him to make any sudden move. The bloodlust Kogane emitted was palpable.
"In front of you, stands the Kogane Mask." She'd say, "Yield or die."

Twist saw Kogane at the last second, pulling his hand away as it released a beam of light. It struck a building up high, exploding, scattering rubble and glass across the street. Twist skidded away, face twisted in anger. Blood dripped from a deep gouge on the back of his hand. The villain bared his teeth.
"Bitch! Don't get involved in what doesn't concern you! How about you die instead!"
He raises his hand, squeeze one eye shut to aim at Kogane. A beam of light shot forth towards her, flashing devilishly in the night. She saw what it could do if it hit a target. Kogane had a choice, but not much time to make it.
------------------------------------------
Bonnie spun away as the big man lashed out. She came to a halt, glancing swiftly across at the newcomer. Yield... or die? She clenched her hand tight around her stave. Bonnie had never heard of the Kogane Mask. Hero? Villain? Or... she gritted her teeth as Fist rose to his feet, turning to face her. Oblivious, it seemed, of his partner's new opponent.
"Gah... little insect! Get outta my sight! Twist Fist!"
The giant man swung a punch, but there was too much distance for the physical blow to land. Instead, his wrist seemed to revolve, releasing some kind of vacuum wave, a blast of air pressure in the shape of a large knuckle. Bonnie didn't have much time to reach, raising her stave to block, but the power of the blow sent her flying backwards. Merde!
At the last second she activated Underbaked, creating a large cushion of dough behind her. She hit the wall, but the dough absorbed most of it. Bonnie dropped to her feet, hand gripping the large amount of Underbaked goods.
"That was a half-baked punch! Try turning up the heat a bit next time!"
Bonnie swung her arm forward, releasing the doughy mass at Fist with all her might.

"Guess all this wardrobe can't hide my voice. I may need a voice augmenter in this mask of mine." She chuckled at herself. His startled reaction, missing his initial shot would be a fatal mistake. On top of that, he had a power that could create precious light. The second shot would be coming. She could anticipate it like a predator awaiting a lull in their prey's attention. She was going to bite down hard after playing with her food. Perhaps it was a sleight of hand, but she's done something already. With a hissing sound from the ground, a perfume shell released a scentless cloud. It swelled before getting yanked into Fist's vacuum fist. This meant his dosage would be the highest. No matter. Weapon Description: Black Shell= A scentless shell that temporarily causes an incredible numbing high. In fact, the victim may gain some great tolerance to pain while it's doing its initial magic. After coming down, the victim won't realize that their pain receptors have become hypersensitive. Even small things become agonizing. Short and not so sweet, lasting 2 posts. Both villains, and even Bonnie would find a numbness to there wounds and a subtle high... - a triumphant sensation. The joy would be followed up with the beam blasting right through Kogane Mask. "Where are you aiming?" She had taken advantage of his light cannon of a hand, and activated her Prism Horizon. The body that had a hole shot through it would stretch and warp a few feet to the right as the crackling of damage rang out behind her. The cartoonishly warped body would find itself back together and perfectly whole... and slowly it would begin walking forward. That precious high would escape and be filled with the pain of any already sustained injuries. With the surrounding lights, this gold-masked person glowed. It was like she was growing to look like a giant. Her massive hand would reach for the gunner. In all reality, she was still walking toward him with a few steps to go. with her illusionary self looming over him, she- "I can take these pains away... Just give me your hand."
The gold mask was unaffected by that puff of chemicals earlier. They didn't know if but her mask filtered for toxins. She could use any one of her perfume shells as long as she would that mask. Ai wanted to make her next move a strategic one. This guy could end someone with just a few shots from that "handgun" of his. The Kogane Mask was going to be stay alert and be cautious in her approach.

Bonnie felt the strange sensation rush over her. A numbing sensation, and a greater elevation to the adrenaline coursing through her veins. Was that part of this masked figure's quirk? There was no time to think about it now. Fist had taken a lump of sticky dough to the face, and was reeling over backwards, crashing into a wall. Bonnie surged forward herself, spinning the staff around to grip tight, leaping through the air and bringing it down hard on the man's head with a crunch. The bread-based staff, as hard as it was, cracked. Bonnie's feet had planted on the man's chest, and she pushed off, landing with her hand outstretched to create a cushion of dough beneath her. One down.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Twist grimaced as the Mask was walking towards him, confused but on high alert. The giant masked woman before him didn't seem to deter him, "You want my hand, bitch? Sure, let me give you both!"
He swung both hands up, fingers out. Light danced on the tips for a second, revealing it wasn't just a single finger that he could fire his explosive beams from. It would have released all at once as well, if Bonnie didn't appear to one side. He grunted as a newly formed Baguette Bat slammed into his wrist from below, pushing it upwards to release the beams into the air. The others would fire towards the giant illusionary form, indiscriminately aimed in Ai's direction... though what he was truly aiming for, Twist had no real idea.

Ai heard the crack of bread staff over the man's head... She wasn't done. Where was the killing blow? Wasn't she a vigilante? Isn't that what they did? The villain wouldn't let herself be consumed by the confusion washing over her. Instead, she was focused on the person in front of her. With twisted fingers, he was threatening her! Absurd to think he could conquer the Kogane Mask. "Ah yes I'm sure it's kicking in by now. Soak it all in..." The giant welcomed the beams with grace. Rather, their brightness would cancel out the illusion she was casting with her own light. There she stood closer to his brother than Twist himself. Her hand sat over her mask in a signature pose as she trained her eyes on the downed man. With a simple blink of her UV snipe technique, a thin beam roared from her eyes. There's be a small hole between man's eyes. The twist-fist gang was no more... -Just twist. One dead. "Now... aim at me like you mean it." She'd turn to Twist, breaking her pose and sprinting toward him while the perfume finally kicked into it's agony phase. That numbness would affect both Bonnie and Twist since they inhaled it. She was challenging him with full confidence that the pain would likely make his aim shotty. If Bonnie got in her way, she'd just have to fight her too. "Move along, vigilante or get killed by accident..." The information she had was clearly outdated... Regardless, Bonnie would witness the glory of the Kogane mask at work.

Bonnie paused for what seemed like an age, watching in confusion, horror, as the woman shot the downed Fist between the eyes. She felt her knuckle tighten. This wasn't a fellow Hero, or even a Vigilante. The masked individual before her was a pure Villain! Kicking in? Bonnie realised, perhaps too late, that what she was feeling must be part of the Villain's quirk. Swiftly she brought her hand up, creating a hard-baked crude mask across her mouth and nose. It wasn't enough to filter out the gas, but it would hold it back for a time. Bonnie then created a hard-baked shield and a bat to go with it, standing defensively before her. Twist was already slouching, as if half asleep, but he brought a hand up, fingers splayed. The other hung limp by his side.
"You're mistaken, méchant! I am no longer a Vigilante... my name is Little Chef, the Hero!"
Bonnie clenched her jaw. This was an incredibly dangerous opponent. She couldn't just face off against her one-on-one, and would have to employ her own tricks to slow her down instead.
"And even if I still went by Vigilante... I would never stoop to blind murder! En garde!"
Bonnie rushed forward, shield raised, swinging the baton towards her opponent's side. Twist was in the process of firing five beams of light at their common foe, though their direction was haphazard and not as accurate as before. Bonnie was full of caution. Careful to keep hold of her fuzzy senses. Careful not to be killed so easy. She would have to put everything she had learnt from the Bear's Den into this battle!

Ai smile from under her mask. The high would subside, and soon an agonizing pain would follow as the pain receptors would get sent into overdrive in reaction. She didn't need to work as hard knowing Twist had no way to escape the disippating gas. Bonnie on the other hand was able to create a makeshift mask from her baked good-producing power. The Kogane mask would take heed of her ability to adapt. IF they both were her enemy, it meant she'd have to be wary of her the most.
"Little Chef, Kogane Mask acknowledges you." She'd point a golden-clawed finger at the woman, never forgetting that there were two enemies here. It seemed like this marked the start of the true battle. It would be a two against one, it seemed. In a coordinate few steps, the white-clad villain angled herself toward Bonnie's side. This would effectively make her a human shield. They may have had a common enemy, but they damn sure weren't allies.
A clang would come in response as Ai clashed her claws against her baguette baton with a hard swipe. She'd veer even further toward Bonnie's side, aiming to deliver a kick to her shins to knock her off balance. If the chemical were doing their job, it would feel like a metal bat smashing against her bones.

"I don't care for your opinion!"
Bonnie was thrust between Twist and Kogane Mask. She had a shield raised against the initial Villain, gritting her teeth as explosions cracked and splintered the overbaked bread construct. She shook it off, feeling her baton struck by the claws, sheered off from the top. Then the kick struck her, and it was indeed like a metal bat, crushing her Overbaked Ciabatta Chainmail into her side. She reeled away, staggering, spinning back to face the two opponents, creating two handfuls of Overbaked Crouton Caltrops. She thrust them forward, releasing them across the floor at the feet of the two Villains. Twist might not have to move, but Kogane Mask might be slowed by this. Both had long range attacks, something that Bonnie could also engage in.
In her hands, she made two Overbaked Bagel Boomerangs. She released them one after another, aiming first for Twist (who was now aiming at Kogane Mask, firing five beams of explosive beams from his fingertips) and the other at the new enemy. Bonnie caught her breath, feeling the pain rippling through her body, overbaking another Baguette Bat. This was bad news. All she could do is hope Kogane Mask was pressured enough by both of her attackers... and that another Pro-Hero would come to her aid!

"Pity..." Ai sucked her teeth. So much for a recruitment opportunity. What a waste... The tall masked villain would remain in her pose. "Prism Gold!" A light seemed to radiate from her person. It was only a breif moment, but as the light dimmed, the villainess disappeared completely. Or so it would seemed. The light beams would wizz by, as would the boomerang. The carnage these moved left in their wake was apparent. Tall, white gear and golden maks... -how could someone so noticeable disappear like that? She didn't disappear. She only camouflaged herself and shoved herself to the floor so the attacks would fly overhead.
She needed to move! This was quite a compromising position. Slowly she'd shift her wait and crawl, doing her damnedest to avoid these caltrops. Some she had to softly brush out of the way. If Bonnie or Twist had an eye for detail, they'd notice some croutons move everrrrrrr so slightly as the Kogane Mask shuffled toward a clear patch of ground to work with. She wasn't in her best element fighting at night. The best light sources were artificial and the pure light that Twist's beams emitted. There was nothing she could really take advantage of here.

Bonnie blinked as the villain vanished. What was this Quirk? She didn't have time to think, as Twist let out a howl of agitation. He spread all ten fingers wide, eyes alive with fury.
"How dare that bitch kill my partner then run! Coward! If I can't see you, then I'll just shred this whole area to nothing!"
Bonnie brought a shield around swiftly. This was bad! Twist's fingertips were glowing brighter than before, and he was turning without aiming. Beams sprung out, hitting the buildings and walls around them, gauging deep holes into the brickwork. One struck Bonnie's shield, pushing her back and filling the air with a harsh scent of burnt toast. Kogane would have to think quickly to avoid it!
Bonnie sprung another boomerang in her hand, and hurled it away from her. As the beams continued their assault, it spun through the air, a trajectory that would strike the wild Twist in the head... but would it reach before the two others could properly defend themselves against a random onslaught?

Abruptly, there would be a thud of one of twists beams colliding with an unseen body. This broke her light trick, and brought her right back into visibility. "You ought to die like your brother." She sneered, checking her body to make sure she was okay. His beams were different than her own. His held plenty of concussive force, while her was blast light and heat. Clasping a gem in her hands, she'd fill it with plenty of her light powers before lobbing it over Twist's head. "I'll make it quick, so we can carry on with our lives." It indeed was a bold claim, but she was suggesting she could kill him with ease. There wasn't much regard for Bonnie, but only because she hadn't triggered the Gold Mask's ire. "ULTRA LIGHT BEAM." From the gem, a large blast of light roared down at an impressive speed. It would ignite whatever it touched or pierce through with a powerful explosion. If Twist weren't careful he'd get caught in the blast radius if Kogane's aim were off. "This is the power of light, Little Chef. The power seen as gold. "

Ai made a crucial error in disregarding Bonnie. Even as Twist was enveloped in the light from the Golden Mask's gem attack, the ex-vigilante was on the move. She could easily have been outclassed. Bread and baked goods... they had always scoffed at her. Every hero, every villain she encountered, they looked down at her because her quirk wasn't flashy, or didn't seem like it was worthy of taking seriously. Her eyes flashed, hard and serious. Bonnie wanted to help people. It had always been her goal, amplified after villains killed her parents. To use her powers to stop villains and make this world a safer place. That was why... that was why...
That was why she wanted to become a Hero in the first place!
While Ai was focused on Twist, Bonnie began creating. Instead of a basic staff or bat, she was forming something larger. A great hammer, rounded and covered in criss-cross patterns, on a thick staff, that she gripped with both hands. Heavier than her usual weapons, but her training in the Bear's Den had paid off!
"The power seen as gold..."
That was when Bonnie was rushing towards Ai, the hammer gripped hard. She clenched her jaw, putting all her strength into the physical attack, the weapon swinging around in a powerful arc.
"Don't think you can ignore me! Overbaked Baguette Bat - Heavycake Hammer Style!"
