Origin World:
Humanity's Haven (Castle of Dreams)
Age:
Unknown (Was around during "Castle of Dreams")
History:
Skylark's past has never been that important to them; they were born (or created) at some unknown time. There was not much parenting to speak of, and Fairies were never that much for familiar ties in the first place. Their creation was closely tied to the place known as "The Castle of Dreams", and they spent most of their initial life there, ending up as the charge and apprentice of the powerful fairy known simply as "The Fairy Godmother". She was never Skylark's Aunt in the biological sense, but she took on the job. Skylark continued to refer to the older fairy by the title, and she has been known to call them Nibling.
It was from the Fairy Godmother that Skylark learned what it was to be a fairy of integrity and how to harness the power of magic to do good and help those in the world striving to do the same. Skylark showed a great aptitude for three schools of magic: Conjuration, the power to create and summon things into existence; Animation, the power to give objects life; and Transformation, the magic to change something or someone into something else. Still, the young fairies were eager to prove themselves, seeking to find their charges, like their Auntie had Cinderella.
Throughout the ages, Skylark has appeared through the annuls of history, popping up here and there as a benevolent supporter of those fighting to do good. A staleward enemy against evil, cruelty and lies. But always in the shadow of their much more famous relative. The slight of being largely unknown might have hurt someone else but not Skylark. They did not wish for recognition or sought admiration because that would mean being placed in the limelight... and that takes effort and time. Maybe the fairy was just a little too comfortable assisting from the sideline, often aiding without being noticed or seen.
All that changed when the Three Masters of the Keyblade Union approached The Fairy Godmother, inviting her to join them at Scala Ad Caelum and help the up-and-coming new Keyblade Wielders. This was a great honour, but to Skylark's surprise, their Aunt declined the offer, motivating she had her duties and could not only be at the disposal of the Union alone. Instead, she proposed extending the invitation to her Nibling, which was even more of a shock for Skylark.
Being put on the spot, the younger fairy had little choice but to consent to the plan... even if they did not think much about it then.
Resident Fairy of Scala Ad Caelum
And so it was that Skylark began to reside at the base of the Keyblade warriors, becoming the resident Fairy of the Union. As such, it has become increasingly difficult for Skylark to pass unnoticed, and an alarming amount of people have started showing up asking for their aid.
Skylark still has no idea what their Aunt's plan was for putting them up to this...
After a particularly nasty conflict with the Nobody, Rexal, known as the Frosty Acrobatic, the Triad Masters have been reluctant to risk sending Skylark into the field, being too valuable to lose in a needless battle against an opponent they could not defeat.
Skylark wants to take a nap...or a few.
Appearance
Physical Appearance:
Skylark has a slender physique with short, fluffy golden blond hair and sky blue eyes, which often appear dull and slightly listless, making Skylark constantly look tired or high; it is anyone's guess. They are usually seen wearing some variation of a mellow smile but sometimes with more teeth. They are described as handsome and "prince-like." Skylark also has fairy wings, which have a translucent texture in shades of pearlescent blue, similar to their eyes.
Clothing/Armor:
Skylark always dresses in shades of blue, white and gold, with a fondness for powdered blue. The most common outfit is a pair of blue denim pants with a belt, a plain white button-up shirt, and a white blazer. They are never seen without their big coat, in their favourite colour of powdered blue. Skylark has a passion for shoes and a habit of changing them at least five times daily or whenever they are bored or feel like it.
Weapon(s):
Skylark's Wand
Skylark's "weapon" is their magic wand, which, even if Skylark's magic is not fitted for battle, can be used creatively to protect themselves and others if and when no other options present themselves. It can, thankfully, be stoved away when not in use, vanishing into a small pocket space only accessible by Skylark.
Misc.
Personality
General Personality:
Some traits that have been used to describe Skylark's general disposition are mellow, kind, easygoing, open-minded, wise, comforting, generous, advising, kind, and humorous. They may appear laid-back because they understand things in life they cannot control, but Skylark also believes that a person is fully responsible for the parts they can.
That is not to say that Skylark is not good at doing what needs to be done. It is just that Skylark works best when left to do things their way, making Skylark a living example of a person doing the most possible work with the least possible effort. This does grind some people the wrong way, at least as long as they fail to look at results in favour of surface actions. It might look like Skylark is doing nothing, which could not be further from the truth... they do everything... differently.
All this combined sometimes gives people the impression that Skylark must be high on something, and they are very good at appearing unbothered, even in the face of absolute chaos and monstrously bad odds. At the same time, Skylark can also serve as a comforting presence for the same reason, keeping themselves together in a tight spot where others might crack... or might they not care? Is possible.
For all of their kindness, they don't sympathize with those who are cruel or unforgiving towards others.

Dreams/Goals:
Skylark wishes to prove itself worthy of its role as a fairy and seeks to aid heroes in whatever way possible, with as little effort as possible. For now, the Fairy God Fellow is assisting the Keyblade Union, but who knows what the future might hold? Skylark also actively work against the efforts of the Council of Naught.
Abilities
Skills:
Master Tailor/Modist/Cobbler
Skylark is an exceptionally skilled creator of anything that can be worn, whether hats, garments, or shoes. These creations are usually done using magic, making the speed of their creation that much quicker. It is also possible for Skylark to, in combination with their conjuration magic, create garments with different kinds of magical properties. With the right tools, time, and material, the fairy can create an astounding array of useful things in the battle against the forces of evil.
Magic:
Going where the Heart Calls!
Skylark can transport themselves from one place to another through light blue sparkles. Like their Aunt, The Fairy Godmother, Skylark knows of those with strong dreams and powerful hearts, making it possible for them to appear before these people in times of need. This can be done to places others would have trouble travelling to, not limited by distance or reality. The fairy also has a deep understanding and connections to dreams and hearts, understanding the connections made from and between people. Still, this is not a magic Skylark wish to abuse. It does help narrow down who needs assistance or not, and is a useful asset. Skylark can also bring others along with them for these journeys.
C.A.T
Skylark's magic can be described using the term C.A.T, which can be translated to conjuration, animation, and transformation. These are the three schools of magic that Skylark focus on, and all magic they do falls into one of those three categories. Skylark can bring inanimate objects to life to do their bidding and possess the ability to materialize imaginary objects at will, which can be many things, from furniture to weaponry, as and when needed. Skylark can also manipulate reality to transform an object or being into something else, such as flowers, animals, or similar. It is versatile magic but impractical in a fight, making Skylark a poor opponent in a fair fight, and will need preparation to be effective. Still, more complicated or powerful things take more effort, which can sometimes be limited by time (See Cinderella).
Weakness
Bond Information
Friends/Allies:
The Triad Masters
It was when the Masters tried to recruit Skylark's aunt that the Fairy Godmother suggested they invite her Nibling instead. Skylark has a passable relationship with all three masters of Scala Ad Caelum but a much better relationship with Master Arc than Master Erst, largely due to friction in character and personality. Master Erst's firm view of training tends to clash with Skylark's more laidback outlook, and Master Arc's habit of doing things at his own pace is refreshing, as Skylark likes doing the same.
Rivals/Enemies:
Rexal
Few know this, but Skylark has already clashed with the Frosty Acrobatic once, and the duel ended with Skylark being forced to escape... wounded but alive. They do not want to speak about the event or wish to fight with the Nobody again unless pressured. More than others, the fairy is intimately aware of how powerful Rexal is and has since become something of a rival, attempting to thwart his plans without risking another conflict. Still, the fact that Skylark came out alive is a testament to their ability to survive.
Faction Link(s):
Keyblade Union
As one of the older friends of the Union, Skylark has served its duty as a fair by giving support to the Keyblade users, their allies and others with beautiful dreams and strong hearts. Skylark provides the different members with useful garments before missions but can also be called upon in the field when needed.
Council of Naught
After a volatile conflict with Rexal, Skylark greatly dislikes the Council of Naught and how they have to butt in where they are not welcome or wanted, manipulating things and moving them about like the piece of a game. If possible, Skylark desires to keep the young Keyblade wielders out of their influence.
Journal Info
Journal Blurb:
An enigmatic and kindhearted fairy who supports the Keyblade Union. They may seem a bit lazy, but they possess great magical powers. They provide young keyblade warriors with suitable garments and function as a source of advice and down-to-earth wisdom to anyone asking for it.

Weakness
On top of that, Skylar is dependent on their wand to cast magic, and without it, the fairy becomes virtually powerless unless they have access to their fairy wings. This type of magic also requires the magic words to function and is not made to cause outright harm- unless you count the idea of getting something dropped on you or being attacked by an animated wardrobe.
