Historia
Born from the imagination of Alan Alexander Milne and given life from the collective imagination of countless children and adults who took part in the stories of Winnie-the-Pooh. Rabbit lived with other animals in what became known as Hundred Acre Wood. He did not have much in terms of childhood, not one that he remembers or has ever been as important as the present. Rabbit always lived in the same place, his house in the north-central part of the Hundred Acre Wood, between the sandy pit where Roo plays and the area where the animals he calls his "Friends-and-Relations" live.
There are several of his stories, but the one that often comes to mind is his visit from Winnie-the-Pooh. In it, he offers the bear a "smidge" of food, which turns into more than just a small smidge, with Pooh getting stuck trying to get out of Rabbit's house. After getting Christopher Robin's assistance, they realize that the only solution is to wait for Pooh to get thin again so that he can be removed. Rabbit tried to make the best of the situation by hanging his wash from Pooh, but it was a small comfort to be limited to using only one of his holes to get in and out.
He did cause some trouble when Kanga and Roo first arrived at the Wood, suspicious of the unusual animal putting her child in a pocket. How would it look if he put his many relations inside his pockets?! He would need 15, 16, or 17 pockets, and how would that have looked? A plan was made to kidnap Roo, replace him with Piglet, and, with an "AHA," get Kanga to leave the Wood. He did not count on the fact that Kanga knew right away that Piglet was not her son, nor that she had a sense of humour enough to play along. She even bathed Piglet, pretending she thought he was Roo. Still, it all worked out in the end, and Rabbit has since come to accept Kanga and Roo.
A few other adventures Rabbit was part of was an expedition to find the North Pole, which turned out to be a pole they found when Roo fell into the water and Pooh used it to fish him out.
It is unclear at which point Hundred Acre Wood appeared in The Great Library, but it never mattered much to the animals living there; one day, they were not, and the next... they were. Rabbit still has his house, and he is still Rabbit; he has his garden... his friends. Visitors, guardians, and the occasional Eternal have stopped by and spent time in the Hundred Acre Wood, but nothing has changed Rabbit's life that much. He is not the most common sight outside of Hundred Acre Wood, but it has happened...Moominmama makes a wonderful jam, after all.

General Appearance
Rabbit is somewhat unique, even among the Denizens of The Hundred Acre Wood, in that he doesn't appear to be a stuffed animal in the same way as Pooh, Tigger or Pigglet. Rabbits look more like living animals than toys, a trait he shares with Owl. Rabbit resembles an ordinary brown rabbit, except he walks on two legs and uses his front paws as hands. In terms of size, the top of his head reaches Pooh's nose, standing at roughly 28 inches tall, and possesses a brain... which is more than can be said about some other Denizens.
Weapons & Equipment
Most of the things Rabbit owns can be found at his house in Hundred Acre Wood, which is mostly regular things one might need in a home... food, tools, cleaning supplies, a sewing machine, yarn and empty bottles. He does have a small basket, which he likes to bring with him whenever he finds something he needs to put in a small basket.
Personality
Rabbits are sociable, energetic, obsessive, and bossy animals that always try to organize and direct others. Like Owl, Rabbit thinks he's smarter than his companions, but his cleverness sometimes makes him a little foolish. Despite Rabbit's obvious cleverness, he has a habit of overplanning, overthinking, and hatching unnecessarily complex plans, which tend to backfire. If left to his own devices, Rabbit is the perfect example of someone who never solves any problems because he’s so busy running around and looking for complicated solutions that he never sees the simple solutions right before him.
Rabbit is also a character in Hundred Acre Wood. He is slow to trust new people fully and is slightly suspicious of those who are unfamiliar.
That is not to say Rabbit has no good qualities; he is loyal to friends, hard-working, well-organized and very hospitable towards guests. Protective and cautious, Rabbit looks out for the well-being of each member of the Hundred Acre Wood and has risked his own life numerous times for their safety.
He enjoys the "finer things in life", such as gardening, tea time, and ice-skating in the winter. Though Rabbit has felt neglected by his friends at times, in truth, the Hundred Acre Wood gang think highly of him; when trouble occurs, Rabbit is often the appointed leader, mainly due to his intelligence and craftiness. This has inflated Rabbit's ego to some degree, but at the same time, it's left him feeling burdened with responsibility. When he cannot assist his friends, Rabbit becomes overwhelmed with guilt. He also becomes incredibly frustrated when his friends do not take dangerous situations seriously, even more, concerning other Denizens of the Great Library.
Relationships
Friends/Allies
The Hundred Acre Wood Denizens
Among his friends in Hundred Acre Wood, Rabbit is more often than not the de-facto leader when it comes to important decisions. The other animals often look to Rabbit for answers, more so than Owl, even if the bird would like to claim otherwise. Rabbit is loyal to his friends and would never dream of betraying them; if anything, he is more than willing to put himself in danger to give them aid when the time arises.
Christopher Robin
Rabbit looks up to Christopher Robin and frequently refers to him during difficult times. In turn, Christopher Robin respects Rabbit's many good qualities, even if he is more "in the know" about those less admirable. He sees his relationship with Christopher Robin as him being the one that Christopher depends on.
Enemies/Rivals
The Chief Weasel & The Weasles
The Chief and his weasels have annoyed many Denizens living in the Children's Section. They've stolen Rabbit's vegetables on more than one occasion, forcing Rabbit to take action to bring the weasels to justice and reclaim the stolen treasures.
Stinky
Moominvalley's resident is a troublemaker, thief, and a "general pain in the neck". Stinky has only recently been seen in Hundred Acre Wood and causes as much trouble and headache for the Denizens there as he does back home. Stinky is not as persistent as some of the other thugs, but he is just as, if not more, annoying.
Abilities & Skills
Gardening
Rabbit has one of the finest gardens in the library, and he is famous in the children's section for his fine selection of vegetables, berries, and fruits. This has created a trade where other Denizens trade their goodies for a few carrots, some onion, or a nice head of cabbage. Rabbits know seeds, flowers, and other things about a good garden.
To be a rabbit
As Rabbit is also a rabbit, he possesses all the heightened senses associated with the animal, more heightened than any regular rabbit found in the real world. Rabbit have a heightened sense of hearing, smell, and touch, and they can detect vibrations in the ground. He is an excellent digger and can quickly dig into the ground or make himself a nice hole when needed. As a rabbit, Rabbit can also reach impressive speeds when running, quickly dashing and jumping to get to places or away from danger.
Household Work
Due to his controlling nature, Rabbit likes to keep his home tidy and clean. He knows how to be a good host. He is great at anything required to maintain a household, whether cooking, cleaning, organizing, or maintaining. He can bake and brush like the best of them. Sure, Rabbit has no abilities in combat, but one can be good at many other things, like making a birthday cake.
Ice-Skating
Reading & Writing (kinda)
Rabbit is often described as "clever." Even though he "hasn’t learnt in books," he can read and write, not perfectly, but better than most other Denizens in Hundred Acre Wood. (He is possibly even better than Owl, to judge by the fact that his spelling is better and that Owl has trouble reading Rabbit’s notes.)
