Andi listens to Roy, too wrapped up in solving the puzzle laid out in front of her to really notice she's not fighting him on it. It made sense. She smirks at Starbucks - a nickname already? This guy had definitely been military, if he wasn't still. She did make a face at the idea of her reminding them - sounded like responsibility. "Sure thing, Cap..."she answered.
The shouts come in and Andi starts counting who she knows is there. Sanchez, Joey, Frankie, Robert, Mikey, Troy, the man and woman by the entrance, whoever was entering the room with the Spider person and Robbie. Accounting for traceability, they spread the phones out. All work in pairs at least, look out for each other. Plus Kit, sister of Martina who was a known associate of Sanchez'.
"Is Martina the ex? They said that girl and that lady when talking about both of them, so they probably would've meant different people... He's trying to get her attention by kidnapping her sister?"she asks before hearing Weld echo her thoughts. "If this is easy mode, Weld might actually do it. Or give Sanchez reason to hesitate long enough that the others can get to the hostage... Could just piss him off, though. Why aren't all of them using the comms? They're getting pretty vital intel, but some things are definitely still in the dark..."
Sure, the intel was incomplete, but still... Maybe Electragirl going inside would help the Spider at least know the target. If they didn't both get shot or caught. The Bat was using it the most effectively, like she was used to it. Even she was off on her own though, and the others...
"It's a good plan, but they aren't acting much like a team."

For everyone:Little Bat through the Coms last round, " Many inside are wary of Kyle. Seem likely to flee or surrender. But... maybe not. Be mindful. Demure." Agent Weld & Agent KyleVachelli and Officer Edwards seem to feel Weld's eyes on them at the same time, both turning to face the young hero. The negotiator shrugs his shoulders, looking more haggard as the situation lasts, but it is Office Edwards who speaks up, "Believe it or not, this kind of situation is far more common than you think. Lots of people go missing in the States for many reasons. I saw once that, roughly, there are six-and-a-half missing people for every hundred thousand or so. Though, I don't think he thought this out."
"Ya think? Eh. I've seen smarter people do dumber for less," Vachelli sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose again.
The two quiet down when Weld turns his attention back up to Sanchez. As Kyle pulls away from the door, the shouts from inside quiet down but even he must sense how tense the situation is at this point. Seconds tick to minutes before a voice calls down to Weld, weary and just sad. "She said she liked the tough ones, the crazy ones like tha one clown in Jersey. This felt crazy. I ain't gonna hurt her. Kit's a real Georgia Peach, but I can' just walk away from this now. Let me walk outta here and you can have 'er." Casper & SparkyThere is relief blooming on Robert's face as Gwen agrees to help him out despite him being on the other side of the line. It isn't something he's used to experiencing and he just looks so fuckin grateful. He doesn't even seem to panic about being webbed again, though his head does jerk back in surprise and his eyes turn to the door. Poor little Mikey. The door swings open slowly as if he expects his buddy Robert to be fully asleep by this point and there is a hint of resigned regret in his expression. He gets three steps in when two things happen at the same time. First, a woman materializes from the electrical outlet and his mouth opens in surprise, an exclamation on his tongue. He never gets the chance as Ghost-Spider drops on him from above. The gun in his hand slides across the floor as she so effortlessly secures the man in webbing. Mikey looks ready to struggle until he meets Robert's gaze and goes limp as he shakes his head. Gwen 2 / Goons 0 If they venture into the hall, there is a door to the left at the end of the hallway and the staircase leading downstairs is to their right. Across from them is a closed door, yellow light trailing from under the door. Reminder: Ping Batgirl in Discord with which way you go if you post first. There is a high likelihood of you running right into Batgirl depending on her choices. Little BatThe vent that leads to the top of the stairs bends at two right-degree angles, neither of which is too tight for one as lithe as Cassandra Cain. It would only take a light push to open the grate at the end and the immediate area at the top of the stairs would be empty. If she left the vent, she would find herself in a long hallway with the stairs to her right. Across the hall is a closed door with a yellow light leaking out from under it. There is a door at the far end of the hall, also closed, and the faint sounds of a voice from the other side. Also to her left, but much closer is a door that is partially empty and there are the soft sounds of a scuffle. Reminder: Ping Gwen & Leslie in Discord with which way you go if you post first. There is a high likelihood of you running right into Gwen and Leslie depending on their choices. StarbucksRoy stands up as Starbucks talks, swinging his rifle so it rests against his back and stretching his arms above his head. He even does the old man groan as he does it. " Yes, Martina is the ex. This whole scenario is based on one of the first hostage cases I ran into when I was a kid. Somethings are changed like the location and the number of goons, but the story at it's core is the same. Sanchez was one hell of a fuckin simp." There's not an ounce of disdain in Roy's voice despite the way he shakes his head. The ex-soldier reaches out nudge the girl with the toe of his boot, waiting until she looks up at him to tilt his head towards the building. " Come on, we can talk and walk." Without an inch of hesitation or doubt, Roy walks out onto the fucking air and...it supports him easily. He doesn't look back to see if Starbucks is following him, still talking to her. " Don't worry about the team. You've got the glasses so the system will automatically remove your image and mute any sounds you make for the others. We're ghosts for all intents and purposes." Roy makes it all the way across the street and across the rooftop before he stops at the roof access door. His boots don't make a sound on the gravel and even his voice sounds muffled to Starbucks. " Kinda proud Casper didn't just rip the door off. Eh, anyways, you're right. Parts of them are working like a team. Some are going through the motions. Overall, they're not coordinating nearly as well as they should. They should be getting to the end soon and I want a front row seat." If she doesn't follow him across the air: Roy looks mildly surprised she's such a coward, gives her a mock salute, and disappears through the roof access door like the ghost he said they were. If she does follow him: He offers her a grin, a shrug, and he disappears through the door. Much like how the air supported her like a floor should, the door allows her to pass through it as if it is made of mist. Below them are a set of stairs that lead to the same hallway Little Bat, Sparky, and Casper are set to meet up in.
Roy whispers, "This outta be interestin."

Ghost-Spider lifted herself off the goon. She looked down at him with a flash of anger in her eyes, though it wouldn't be that apparent behind her mask.
"Robbie looked out for you, and that's how you treet him? He just wants to take his ma to Florida, jerk."
She looked up at Livewire, nodding at her teammate as she quickly webbed up Mikey real good, pushing him out of view of the corridor rather roughly with her feet.
"If we go left... then the boss is there. We could nip this whole thing in the bud before it gets any worse."
Ghost-Spider paused. She hadn't really been listening to the others, which she knew Roy would scold her for. It meant she wasn't too sure about the whole situation outside, but... her job was to get in and deal with whatever was on the inside. Right?
"Reckon you can take him from surprise? I'll take the door and rush him from behind. Once we have him, the others will fall like, uh, those little sticks that old people play with!"

Weld listened to the police, and he reflected on the situation. The victim was somewhere inside, but going by the silence in the coms, none had managed to find and rescue her yet... and they were running out of time. He did not know why, but he felt a sense of responsibility and did not like the lack of communication... sure, he trusted them all with his life, but this was not his life. He had just been about to turn to Leslie but noticed that she was gone... well, that idea would not work.
"Weld to the team," he said, having turned off the megaphone again and accessed his coms. "Has anyone found Kit yet? Over..."
He looked up at the building when Sanchez's voice came again. Weld was unsure if he should feel sad for the guy or find him pitiful. "So you went after her sister?" He asked into the megaphone. "Crazy is, filling her room with roses, or hiring a horse-drawn carriage to take her on a date, or I don't know, take her swimming with otters or go to one of those weird asian bathhouses where fish nibble your toes." He shrugged his shoulders at Kyle before he continued. "Kidnapping her sister, not the crazy that will wake any firey passions."

Andi almost laughs at the old man groan, but that urge is quickly replaced by a low whistle as Roy described the mission in question. However, calling Sanchez a simp did earn a grin and chuckle. After another few moments of tracking the proceedings, Andi felt a nudge on her leg, looked up. As soon as she realized they were getting ready to move, she got to her feet. The way she did should have highlighted a lack of grace, but instead she was up uncannily quickly and smoothly. Her palms rocked up to fingertips, lifting herself up and back more than enough to swing her legs from dangling over the side to under her, the toe of her shoe finding easy purchase on the roof. Even her heavy boots landed lightly and she used the momentum to bring her the rest of the way up and ready to walk before he could blink. She trusted her balance as much as the Spider, but even that didn't prepare her for Roy walking across the empty air like it was nothing.
She looks down, surprised, but hearing him mention the glasses and their capabilities... She was a ghost in a simulation. Fucking rad. She looked down to memorize and step where Roy did for a few steps, then found that if she trusted the system to understand what she wanted, she had nothing to fear. Her back straightened, shoulders relaxed, and she jogged after him to catch up, banishing the instinctual fear of the distance between herself and the 'ground' as she could see it. She looked down and observed some of the proceedings below as she did - particularly how the negotiation was going.
Weld made a good Face. He was definitely used to working with people in this presentational kind of way, and he was checking in on his team for updates. Plus, he was weirdly genuine about the whole talk down. Toe-nibbling fish? Andi snorted. "If Martina's interested in guys like the Joker I think Sanchez has got more to worry about." Something bothered her, though. Was Weld gonna let this guy walk free? Was that the right thing to do? Andi didn't know - yeah, he was just a poor simp, but was it okay to just give him a slap on the wrist considering his other crimes? What about the guy who just wanted to help his Ma? Or the guy who had kids at home? What... was the right choice? What if they just went on to hurt other people? Would she be more okay with giving them the chance to walk free, or regret it in the future if someone got hurt because of some ideal? What would a hero do? What would Coach do?
Andi wouldn't be here if no one had given her a chance.
Their jaw had set to steel when Roy turned to acknowledge them, and they gave a tight nod in response to his expression before he melded through the wall. They forced the tension back out of their body with a deep breath, then stepped through the wall easily. Their demeanor had subtly shifted for the moment from uncaring and sardonic to something more sharp and focused on the proceedings. Roy's last comment got the smallest ghost of a smirk. "Shoulda told me - screw the coffee, I woulda brought popcorn." Their voice came out low and a touch distracted from their attempt to make themselves laugh, but the amused bend to their lips stayed.

"Well uh actually." Leslie said with a grin. "There's only four bozos, these two were the only ones up here with the boss. The others are guarding downstairs." She said before strutting over to inspect Gwen's sticky handiwork. As Gwen talked up a plan, Leslie put out her hand to have her pause. "Mmm, one sec. Wanna check something." She was about to tap the nearby wall to get another feel for any 'juice' that wasn't part of the building before Batgirl and Weld came in over comms. Leslie cleared her throat before responding. "Well, upstairs is cleared minus the boss and hostage, thanks to Sticky. If I'm treating this like a game of Siege, I don't know what would be easier. Clock the last two guys downstairs and then swoop on the boss or just go straight for the package. Thoughts?"
Leslie knew Bats was relatively close by all of the various batteries on her gear the last time she checked, so she might be a better choice for a closer on Sanchez. If it came down to taking on Sanchez herself, sure she could probably blast him with a good old zap and take all the glory of the takedown. However her powers weren't really great at precision attacks, not to mention electricity kind of liked to arc and pass through things, like other people. Such as Gwen or the hostage. As big of an ego she had, Leslie also didn't want to screw this up. She hadn't really proven herself as a 'good guy' yet. Honestly she probably could have charged right in, took care of business and showboated, but this was to make a team or something right?
