It was a real thrilling ride into town as they'd take the subway, as Jack was just oh-so eagerly chatting to Hokori about what he had in plans for whenever they'd graduate, once more bringing up the prospect of Hokori coming with him to Australia for a few to just chill and hang whilst Jack would visit family. The attempts of gaining more info were there, but scarce, since he knew his clever boyfriend would not reveal too much.
Still, once the place was revealed, his eyes lit up with excitement and nostalgia, as this was the place he had taken Hokori to! Grinning wildly, he would embrace Hokori in a quick hug with a peck on the cheek.
"Aaw man Hokori, y'the best boyfriend evah! I can't wait t'get some grub in me now! How's 'bout we share a seafood pizza, like last time?"

"Hell yeah! Seafood pizza was exactly what I wanted to eat! Let's go!"
Hokori followed a waitress to a table for two, taking a seat and leaning back in his chair. Again, the table just so happened to be where they had sat before. Hokori ordered a jug of water and olives to start, with a large seafood pizza for their main.
"Man, this is so crazy, right? Two years... and next year will be us celebrating as pros! Man, it's wild."
He smiled warmly, leaning over and gripping Jack's hand.
"Yo, this really is great. An' I can't wait to meet the family! Mum is gonna be so jealous that I've been to Australia, she's always wanted to go!"

Jack grins wide as Hokori when he announced his excitement to eat seafood pizza, and quickly joined him in taking a seat, realizing it was the same table too! Hokori really must've thought this out, or it was pure coincidence! He'd not mind either, as he poured himself a glass of water and chucked an olive in his mouth to munch on.
"Yea' mate, it's bloody unbelievable. Two years we've been t'gether now, Hokori... I wouldn' have traded it fer anythin' in the world."
He sighs as he looks dreamily over at Hokori. He just couldn't help himself! He couldn't look at Hokori without getting butterflies in his belly! To just feel all mushy and lovey-dovey! It was so not his image, and yet he'd happily break said image over a thousand times if it was for him! He'd grip Hokori's hand without hesitation, grinning warmly at him.
"It's bloody fantastic s'what it is. Can't wait fer goin' back to the outback an' let ya visit my family, luv. They's gonna love ya to bits! 'Specially my lil' brother, sweetest lil' kiddo you could meet!"

"Yeah, bro. I really can't wait to meet them! I'll finally get to ask your mum all those personal secrets you keep hidden, yo!"
Hokori winked, squeezing Jack's hand as they munched on their starters. He munched thoughtfully on an olive, tapping out a silent rhythm on the table.
"We graduate this year. That's crazy, dog. I don't think I'd be here as I am right now if we hadn't got so close. Ya dig? It's, like, you're the lead guitar, an' I'm the bass. Fine on their own, but get them together and vibing to the same beat - boom!"
He made an explosion effect with one hand, then laughed.
"Man, even my quirk wouldn't be the sick version of itself. Ya made me see that my dust is just a different instrument to play. It ain't as strong as sand, or earth, but if ya know how to vibe with it, there's nothing you can't do!"
Hokori released Jack's hand for a moment, took a deep swig of water than stretched his arms upwards to the sky. Then he placed them in front of him on the table, smiling with warmth at the other boy.
"I guess I'm trying to lay it down. I love ya, Jack. You made me the groovy adult I am today."

Jack just pretends to get flustered as Hokori proclaims that he's gonna learn all about his personal secrets, but then just grins as he'd reach over to ruffle Hokori's hair a bit. He could just ask about them whenever he wants to! But if that's how he wanted to do it, all groovy.
"Yeah. We gunna be heroes next year, an' be able to get out there an' properly punch some bad guy arse. Fer real, luv."
But then he just listens to him, letting him do all the talking for a while as it felt... so flattering to hear him admit all these things. The fact that he'd not be the person he is today, were it not for Jack. That was just... wicked. To think Hokori wouldn't be this groovy lil' man he was now, if they hadn't met. It made Jack just that more grateful. And truth be told... he'd probably not be the person he is now, were it not for Hokori.
As Hokori would place his arms down on the table, he'd slowly reach for him, grabbing his lower arms, and laying his own arms into Hokori's hands, just holding him tenderly and looking at him.
"Well... s'my turn now, I reckon. I love ya too, Hokori. You made me turn out a whole 'lotta better too, y'know. I had come 'ere to jus'... get a clean slate, y'know. Focus only on wha' I want, and nothin' else. Just distance m'self from others... even if Shinja was makin' that hella difficult, heh..."
He'd chuckle a bit as he remembered how him and Shinja had developed, too. Being like brother and sister now. He had to thank her for pushing both boys towards each other...
"But, point bein'... without you there, I would'a probably just kept doin' that. And who knows, I would'a maybe been a badass hero in no time like 'dat, too. But... lookin' at it now, if you hadn't been there... tha' life would'a felt empty, an' pointless. I'd much rather share the life of a hero... with you. My love."

Hokori watched Jack with a wide smile, then moved his hand to wipe a tear from his eye.
"Ahh, ya way too soppy... look at that, making me cry, how un-cool! But ain't it the truth. I can't imagine my life as it is now if I hadn't met you!"
He squeezed Jack's wrists, big red eyes focused Entity on his man. Hokori blinked, grinning, then shook his head.
"Honestly. Ya got me really wound around yer finger, dog! I'm like putty in yer hands. Good thing tonight is in my control!"
Hokori snorted a laugh as he leant back, a large seafood pizza slid between them. He took a slice and tucked in ravenously, melted cheese stretching from his slice to his mouth.
"Mm! So good. So damn groovy!"
He chewed, swallowed, then eyed Jack with a knowing gaze.
"There's more to come, anyway. I owe you a lot, bro! So much. So I'm gonna use tonight to show you just how much I love ya!"

Jack smiled as Hokori shared his sentiments on having his life feeling empty without the other nearby. It truly made him appreciate Hokori even more, if such a thing was even possible! He'd chuckle a bit at the comment of having the other boy wrapped around his finger, realizing again that tonight it was HIS turn to be in control. And truth be told, he was really looking forward to what the other boy had in store.
The seafood pizza was absolutely lovely, and it reminded him of the times he'd spend on the coastal side of Melbourne back home! He was always a big seafood fan, and it was great to see this place paying homage to such a local dish! Munching away on his slice, he'd smirk back as Hokori teased him with more to come.
"I dun' doubt ya fer a second, hon. Y'always got a whole lotta stuff in store fer all of us! Always been a lil' busy-body, heh~ But ya better believe I'm ready fer whatever y'got to throw at me! Ol' Jack ain' gonna be caught off-guard 'dat easy!"

"Zat so? I ain't gonna let you win this bout, mate!"
Hokori winked, hand in his jacket as he drew out two paper slips. Ticket! He slid them across, taking another slice and leaning back while he chewed. The tickets were face down, and Jack would have to turn them over to see them. Doing so would reveal...
Sumo contest! Tonight at 8pm in the Mustufu Sport's Centre!
Hokori flicked a finger-gun towards Jack, winking with a cheeky grin.
"This is the big event, yo! Food and a show, what could be better? An' I don't think ya said about goin' to a sumo competition before! I think it's right up ya street, dawg!"

Even with Jack having said he wasn't going to get caught off-guard, this surely was a thing that did catch him off his game. As he flipped the tickets over, his face lit up in another surprised, but amazed grin. A sumo contest?! He'd grin back over at Hokori.
"Aw mate, y' didn't hafta! An' I mean, Sumo ain' my sport o' choice, but I've always wanted t' witness one live! It's part o' the culture an' all, right? An' well, since I am here, gotta immerse y'self when ya got the chance, right?"
Still, he was super-appreciative of the surprise, if that seemingly plastered-on grin was not evidence enough. He quickly leans over the table and gives Hokori a cheeky, quick kiss on the cheek, before he leans back in his seat and takes another slice of his own pizza, munching down on it.
"Yer the best, Hokori~ Like, I know I keep sayin' it, but tha's just cuz I mean it!"

"Well," Hokori said, winking at Jack and finishing his pizza, "the best deserves the best, man!"
The dessert menu came over soon after. Hokori eyed his boyfriend with a grin. The restaurant did sundaes, and one of them was a full gallon of ice cream, syrups, sprinkles, chocolate and other tooth-rotting deliciousness. Hokori's eyebrows waggled.
"We got time before the match starts. Ya fancy somethin' sweeter than me?"

"Oh ah swear Hokori, if 'dis here table wasn' between us, I would'a lunged at'cha an' kissed ya by now~! Yer the bes' one in this scenario, man!"
Jack's grin was literally beaming by now, the 'roo boy absolutely bewildered and excited from the fun he was having. And then the sundae was brought out before them, and he could almost HEAR his root canals crying for mercy... but that'd be a woe for later~ He'd just smirk at Hokori, grabbing a spoon.
"Race ya to the bottom o' this thing, babe~"

Hokori took the challenge, grabbing the spoon and diving in. It was a struggle even at the start, the pizza already filling their bellies. Hokori pushed and persevered! He managed perhaps half of it on his own, half enjoying it but more focused on the thrill of the race. Good thing they didn't have to do any training after this! Or perhaps even the next day...
"Aah! I fold!"
Hokori dropped his spoon, leant back and groaned, hands on his stomach.
"That was amazing, yo, but way too much food, ya dig!"

"G-Ghaah! B-Brain freeze, f-fuck!" Jack whines on the opposite end of the table, spoon clinking to the floor as he clutches his head for a bit from the rapid consumption of ice cream as he just twitches and huffs while massaging the pain away... then he looks up to Hokori with a big, dopey grin.
"Hehehehe... sorry babe, looks like even yer strong big man Jack is no' immune to the dreaded brain-freeze!" he says, before he genuinely, mirthfully laughs it off. His laugh... it was of genuine joy and bliss, one he only ever let out when he was truly, TRULY at ease. And Hokori... Hokori made him feel like every moment was like being in god-damn Elysium!
"Whenever y'feel ready babe, let's pay the bill and book it over to the sumo contest!"

Hokori grinned at Jack's reaction. He got to his feet, breathing out heavily in a contented sigh.
"Ah, yeah. Sit tight, alright, dude? I'll pay up and be back in a moment, yo!"
He shot a wink to his boyfriend before heading to the front desk. Hokori's mind was giddy and unfocused, feeling a pure, concentrated happiness that he found swelling inside his breast. As he waited for someone to come and take his yen, Hokori stretched out his arms and grinned to himself. Nothing could ruin this evening.

Sitting within this establishment was someone who had been in the news. All over the place, in fact. They had spread chaos across Japan in the recent days and even invited their friends from overseas to partake in said chaos. There was no way his known alias wouldn't be on the tongues of every hero and media source out there. And how did he get into this place without a panic? Simple, really. They knew his mask and his alias. But not what he looked like under the mask nor his actual name. His voice too was distorted and thus his actual voice also unknown. He was respectable and quite polite to the staff. He had even been sitting at a table not far from Hokori and Jack, minding his own business and enjoying a meal of his own. He had finished the last piece of what was likely a gourmet dish then took a sip of water as he took the bill in hand. He stared at it with his dual-colored eyes and noted the price. It was a fair one and nothing he'd argue with. He was donned in a silk vest and tan dress shirt with black pants and loafers; his usual evening attire. He too would approach the booth to handle his bill but then saw someone. Hokori. He tilted his head then took a closer look at the young man. This feeling. It tugged at his mind and it made him...angry. Why? To distract his thoughts, he looked elsewhere and saw the stand-out figure that was Jack. Something in his head clicked as his eyes widened with realization. He recalled a member making a report and the short conversation. "Ran into Two kids from U.A. on a date before I got here. One of them a kangaroo and the other a young man who uses a Quirk similar to yours.""Is that so?" "Yes. He was a short boy with tanned skin, platinum blond hair and vivid crimson eyes."He looked back to Hokori and the description matched perfectly. A Quirk like his? Impossible. There hadn't been one like his since his father. That Quirk was passed down. It was genetic. How on earth did a small thing like this one inherit such a Quirk befitting of a God? Similar Quirks existed in the world alongside one another but his was special. His fathertold him just how special it was. It could not be replicated except by their bloodline. It couldn't be coincidence, could it? He had to make sure. He approached, kindly as could be as he looked to see the remains of a pizza and an ice cream set-up being cleared off from the table. Based on that lingering smell in the air, he could easily surmise what the two had for their meal. "Their seafood pizza is rather great, isn't it?" he'd state, coming up next to Hokori with a placid, comforting look about it. He stood roughly two feet taller than Hokori, slightly muscular. He had tanned skin, silvery locks of short white hair, and two distinct eye colors. His left, a golden yellow. His right, black as pitch. Upon his right cheek starting from the tear duct and going up his eye and brow were black tattoos as well. He looked calm. Pleasant, even. His voice like silk. There was no way Hokori could know that standing beside him was the branch Saviour of Japan's Damascus Order: Anubis.
