The moment Jack declared that he could take it, that was when Ishaq grimaced and jerked his head upward to see that the attack was still coming. He was more angry than aghast yet both were clearly shown on his face as the dust crashed down full force. Hitting not only Jack, but himself as well with an anguished grunt.
When he fell to earth, he'd feel the entirety of Hokori's attack and simply...smiled.
The dust hung heavy in the air and when Hokori parted it, Anubis would be seemingly lying on the ground in an impact zone looking quite unconscious...if only for a moment. The form simply wafted away with a breeze as the clouds near Hokori swept out in front of him. The sand from the unconscious form joined in and then formed directly in front of Hokori, a battered figure of Anubis who glared down at him. Hokori's attack had done a bit of damage but it hadn't stopped him.
"When we want to protect someone, we often hurt those around us. Intentional or not." He'd immediately wrest his hand right around Hokori's throat then stepped on the ground twice to summon up a figure of sand that loomed over Jack. It stood as tall as Ishaq and was a humanoid jackal wielding a khopesh that was laid squarely at Jack's own throat as well.
"I am taking you with me so you can see things from my side. I don't think you want to refuse me..." he pointedly threatened as the jackal-headed figure's weapon got dangerously close to drawing blood. His eyes glared into Hokori's unblinking. He was prepared to do something that would make Hokori hate him even more than he already did. But this outcome would be fine either way. As long as he got him to understand one thing. Something he had been wanting to make others see since that day.

Okay... this was still gonna hurt like a bitch. But he didn't care, as long as it meant that they could take down this asshole, he was willing to take the blow from Hokori! Though as soon as it'd hit his reinforced body, he soon felt regret wash over him along with pain, the blunt force trauma hitting his body like a freight train of bricks. But he endured it all... for both their sakes. And he fell down on the ground, pounded on by the torrent of dust hailing down on them, and as soon as Hokori made the dust settle and part ways, Jack was face-down on the ground, bruised and bleeding from multiple parts of his body, but he managed to slowly tilt his head up to look at Hokori, blood spattered over one of his eyes... and yet he smiled. 'Good job, Hokori.' he could only think, but then saw what happened as Ishaq's form dissipated into sand, and his one good eye widened as he saw him reform right in front of Hokori! "H--... H-Ho-... kori..." he weakly wheezes out, pulling his right arm up and outward to grab onto the ground, doing his best to literally scrape along the ground to try and reach him, but felt a sharp, razor-thin edge push up on his throat. He felt it press deep against his skin, almost enough to draw blood. But Jack did not care. His attention was solely on Hokori. He was in danger. Hokori was in danger. He had to save him! "H--... Hoko-- kori..." he wheezes out again, breath hitched as he coughs loudly, dust and blood spattering out on the ground, but he manages to draw one deep breath, as much as his lungs burn from it, and he lets it out-- "HOKORI!!!!" With both of their attention now undoubtedly drawn to him, he used the last remnants of his breath to speak... whatever came to his mind. He had heard Ishaq refer to himself as Hokori's brother... but he did not want to believe it. He was much too kind to be related to this guy! So with what little consciousness he had left, he'd do his damnedest to make Hokori know-- "H-Hokori! I-I... I dun' care what that fucker tells ya... or if he's yer brother like he claims! I dun' care 'bout any of it! You'll... Y-You'll always be MY HOKORI MUDA! MY LIL' DUSTCLOUD! An' you fuckin' better not make anyone, not even 'im, make ya think otherwise!!! G-Got it?! I-I'll save ya, Hokori! I-I promise I fuckin' will! GOT IT?!?"

"J-Jack..."
It was a total defeat. Hokori felt his vitality draining as Ishaq grabbed him by the throat, squeezing and holding him at bay. Worse, he saw Jack with a blade to his throat, and squeezed his eyes shut. It couldn't end like this... but if he kept going, then Jack would pay. It would be better just to give in... and Jack seemed to agree. Hokori opened his eyes, locking his gaze to the other boy, a weak smile on his face as he did so. The dust all settled around them, a final testament to the fact he was surrendering to his half-brother.
"Don't worry... I'll be waitin'... Big Buck... tell my mam I'll be alright, okay, man?"
He turned his gaze back to Ishaq, hands gripping onto the wrist which had him by the throat. Hokori gave him a look of anger, but resignation. A tear broke free, rolling down his cheek, as the sadness within him welled up and broke, but Hokori's expression didn't change. The contempt he pressed against Ishaq was raw, palpable. He gritted his teeth, unconsciousness seeping into the edges of his mind, a darkness ebbing across his vision. Ishaq was choking him into submission.
"Leave him... alone. I'll go... with ya. I ain't gonna fight back. Jus'... do what ya gotta do."

The scene that unfolded before him was moving. Touching, even. But it did nothing to Ishaq on the outside as his resolve to take Hokori was ironclad. Inside, however, something softened ever-so-slightly. He couldn't be sure what it was but his opinion of Hokori was shifted. Shifted toward what was anyone's guess. His eyes went from Jack to Hokori. Then he scoffed as his grip loosened completely as he let Hokori fall to his feet.
"You assume the worst will happen. If he does as I say, no harm will befall him and he'll be returned in one piece."
He looked to Jack as he said this, wrenching his hand then jerking his arm over his own chest which made the sand jackal, weapon and all, fade. The sand from it would encircle Hokori instead and restrain him into an upright position. Then more sand would form a sarcophagus and seal in Hokori with a jackal relief on its front with a crook and khopesh in its crossed arms.
"Think me a villain? Not all in the Order are as black and white as the public paint them to be. Your friend Bernard is a prime example. When our dream is realized, all will be made clear."
He raised his arm as both he and the sarcophagus arose into the air via a sand cyclone.
"If you are unsure, find him and speak again. Then you'll see what drives us."
He then opened both palms and the cyclone would grow and grow, eventually covering the general area. When the miniature sandstorm would settle, neither Ishaq or Hokori's prison could be seen. Just a street laden with sand...and an untouched restuarant.

Jack said nothing in return of Ishaq's statement, and he did nothing but glare pure ice-cold daggers at him as he stuffed Hokori away in that sarcophagus. He wanted to say anything, but the dust in his throat made it hurt to just breathe... and it did not help that he'd hitch his breath the moment he spoke of Bernard. His one true friend... he was still set on saving him, too. No matter what. His eyes flaring with hate for Ishaq, he'd merely spit a wad of blood at him, even if it didn't even make if half-way towards him, before him and Hokori dissipated.
He'd slowly manage to find his energy again, as he pushed himself off the ground; every limb screaming at him to stop, flaring red-hot with pain, and he was sure some bones were even broken from the pummeling he received... but he'd make it. He'd just get stronger from this. Even as people were shouting around him, asking if he was alright and needed an ambulance, Jack said nothing, head down as he began to limp away from the scene, and back towards U.A High...
All while tears streamed in constant rivers down his cheeks. He had made a promise... he was going to keep it.
[Exit Jack]
