A word from Hiromi, more accurately Ivan received a list of people to meet from the teacher. He apparently wasn't the only person going through some outlandishly aggressive parents. Hiromi didn't give a whole lot of detail, but it was likely because Yoichi wasn't her student. There was one girl who dropped out. Fair enough... then there was a boy named Shizo who shared class with Yoichi. He'd find a bit of comfort in know he wasn't the only one, but he wasn't really the best at communicating. The message he delivered to the 1-a mailbox sounded more like a challenge than a request for a chat. To be honest, all this crap was having the guy ready to releive some stress. IF they could spar, it'd only be icing on the cake of meeting someone to make friends with. He didn't have many. As it currently stood. The only person he could rely on was Youta with Ouju coming at a close second. He'd need to spend more time to figure her out... He'd sit in wait. A purple cape wrapped around his body. He was in his hero get up, and ready to throw hands. All he needed was for the girl to accept his offer. The letter would read- "Yo Kid,
Hiromi tells me we may have a few things in common. How bout we settle things in the training room 3c? We can test just how alike or different we are!
-Ivan "

Yoichi didn't know how to receive the message. First off - kid? A third year was only two years older at best! Secondly... it couldn't be good. She had spoken to Gigabite, and other teachers must know of what she had said to him... but still. What could this be about?
Still, she steeled herself, pushing her social limits to their max. Yoichi went alone, something telling her to put on her hero costume, the ninja-like attire that she had chosen for comfort, camouflage and courage. She saw the boy ahead of her, draped in purple and waiting for her. Yoichi frowned, slowing on her approach, stopping a few feet from Ivan.
"Ivan? Gozen Yoichi. You... wanted to see me?"

So she would come? Excellent. Ivan stood tall, he- "I can see plenty from here. I guess it's okay that you don't look like much, you're a first year after all." He'd crossed his arms, and tilted his head. He took a moment to take into account what Hiromi said. Pointing to the girl, Ivan-"Hiromi says I should talk to you. She thinks we may have some things to talk about but I'm not in the best of mood. You cool if we spar first? I'm sure you first years are itching to get some time to actually get some combat training in. If it's anything like my old school, then it's probably a bunch of entry and introductory stuff right now." The boy would crouch a bit to loosen up. He'd press all of his weight on one foot, then transfer it to the other whilst pulling at his arms overhead. With two dips, he'd stand up properly and finish the brief stretch by cracking his neck.
"And don't worry. I got permission well in advance for us to use this room. Don't worry about getting in trouble." He said looking at his fist, clenching hard and whipping it to his side. The clanking of metal manifested from his shoulder down to his fingertips as a dark armor would clad his limb in a powerful glittering glow. To be a bit more formal, he'd relax into a fighting stance before introducing himself. "The names Ivan Sir the 3rd. Hero Name: Crest, and my quirk lets me clad my limbs in a super-powered armor."

Sparring? Things in common? Yoichi didn't know how to take this, but the words don't look like much stung her pride. As Ivan showed off his armour, she felt a leap in her heart. A second ago she thought she was doing more counselling or something... now she was sparring? Something else stirred inside of her, and her eyes sharpened.
"Gozen Yoichi. Hero name: Lady Daikyu."
She lifted her arm, and her fingers glowed before springing out into a bow. Yoichi had just come out of a rough day, and didn't much feel like talking. What she did feel like was letting off some steam.
"My quirk is Longbow... let me show you how it works!"
Yoichi's fingers wrapped around a strand of hair, which she plucked and knocked in a single moment. She draw her bow string back and fired at Ivan. Yoichi felt herself focusing, the first time since the exam. Perhaps this was exactly what she needed.

"My quirk is Longbow... let me show you how it works!"
Longbow? It would make sense as Lady Daikyuu flicked her fingers open into a bow and pulled her own hair? So those were the arrows. "A curious one." A mumbled under his breath. He could tell by her eyes, she was takin this seriously. He couldn't have asked for more. Her movements were well rehearsed. Whoever it was that trained her this far had done a good job with instilling good habits as an archer. Ivan never could get into it, but it wasn't like he had a choice in the mansion. Still, he didn't quite understand why hair would make a good arrow. It was so thi- and then she fired. The shining example would bring his forearm up to deflect, the impact producing a resounding CLANG, and the hair would find itself embedded deep into the concrete.
~Even though I deflected it, it's still got that much penetration?~ He thought, quickly returning his eyes to Yoichi. If felt like a bullet hitting against his armor. Perhaps not calling her much was a misjudgment. Yeah she was a first year, but she was in 1A. "Hmmph, understood loud and clear." He said. All he had to do was get in close, but she wasn't going to make this an easy task, now was she? He'd begin a head on sprint, his cape hiding his readying armored arm. If she was showing off her quirk, so would he. Stopping a few meters short, the cape would buck out as he reeled back to punch into the ground.
"Valor Knuckle!" A strengthened punch that the young hero would aim at the floor to shatter the very ground Yoichi stood on. He'd begin applying pressure now rather than later. If he could kill her chances of readying an arrow, she'd never be able to shoot!

Yoichi didn't stay still, moving after firing the first arrow. She didn't know what the quirk was capable of, but it seemed to be close range. All she had to do was stay a distance, and-
The punch shattered the ground beneath her feet, flinging her into the air. What ridiculous power! She gritted her teeth, spinning her body around and pulling out three more strands of hair. He'd have to do better than that to stop her from using her quirk. For Yoichi, it was second nature!
She fired three arrows down, using her movement through the air to shoot downwards, then landed heavily on the other side of Ivan. His blow had catapulted her forward and over him, now she landed with a roll into a crouch. Yoichi spun around, and she had another arrow in hand. Her draw speed was far higher than Ivan seemed to think! She shot off a fourth arrow, eyes alive with a burning, fiery precision.

I've eyed Yoichi's readiness in a situation. She didn't panic. That was good, he was hoping she wouldn't be overwhelmed by something like that. If things went too easily, he'd be a bit sad. For now, he'd take evasive manuevers closing in as he ran. Metal clanked and bashed into the ground as he prepped his body for a requip. The immediate loss in weight would only add to his already quick sprint. He was well within his wind and wouldn't tire out any time soon. The three arrows for plink one by one behind him. With her in the air, he knew exactly where she'd land and her only destination due to gravity was down! As many heroes didn't wear capes anymore, Ivan liked the flare and immediate cover it provided. In fact, he integrated it well within his general movements. He'd grab the collar of his cape as he neared her drop point and flail it over himself to completely obscure what he was doing. Cladding another limb, he'd store as much energy as he could into it so he could pull this off.
As far as his enemy could tell, there was a big fat purple target waving right beneath her. It clearly was a feint, like a matador awaiting a bull. In fact, that's exactly what it was. The "ole" would be something properly impressive!

Patience. That was what Koito had said. As she saw Ivan swirl his cloak around to conceal himself, she plucked several strands while also back-stepping to increase their distance. She twisted her hair into a corkscrew arrow, knocking it and firing it towards the centre of the Cape.
Then, before she even waited to see it strike, Yoichi pulled three more arrows. One, two, three, she fired each one to follow the first. One left, one right, one above. Yoichi imagined Ivan had a plan, so she wanted to keep him pinned down as much as she could, keeping him at a distance!

OOC: Using Koito's advice I see lol. I honestly didn't expect that xD _________IC:
"And here I thought UA wouldn't be entertaining..."The Corkscrew would pin the cape down, no body would be found. A shadow would move, its silhouette exaggerated by something that looked like an arm being chucked high into the air. "Radiant" A blinding light emerged before scattering into multiple blinding lights to fill the air. With no Ivan to hold the armament together, it would separate and slowly disintegrate as it shined on. Amongst this light show, Ivan emerged, one of the arrows pierced his shoulder but he wouldn't relent because of it. An archer's greatest asset was their sight. So how would she make do without it!?!? The light also obscured his leg, which also was clad in armor. He'd already prepped it while under the cape, and it was quaking with energy. With Yoichi in a backpedal, he'd antagonize her with more pressure. He lined himself up as he trekked forward in a peppy stride. Metal clanged and pinged as the flare died down, and pieces of armor fell to the ground. As if prepping to kick a soccer ball, he'd wind his leg up, and swing. With the follow-through, his toe just barely scraped along the ground causing a spark. "Champion Thrust!" A shimmering shockwave erupted from the kick, whipping up a gust and shattering the ground. Among the white, grey and silver streaks of his attack, Ivan smiled. No... he didn't actually have to get up close to do damage. He only needed her to believe that. Now THIS was fun. Perhaps all he needed was to stretch his legs, and get into a fight. He hoped Yoichi to be durable enough to survive this.

The whole sequence shocked Yoichi. His quirk was incredible! Versatile and far more than meets the eye. Then came the shockwave, a kick that flung her backwards like a ragdoll. She hadn't expected it, and she hid the wall bodily, grunting with pain. Yoichi grunted in pain, falling to the floor but scrambling to her feet in a fluid motion. She was on the move again, pulling out several hairs and squeezing them between her special glove as they hardened. Her blunt arrows were far more punishing than her regular, and she notched one after another, firing a sequence of shots at Ivan. Yoichi kept moving, knowing now she had to be on the move. My quirk isn't suited to this kind of one-on-one combat... so I just need to keep a level head and find my opening! Patience, Yoichi! You're not beaten yet!

Ivan smirked as Yoichi rose to the occasion, rising to her feet. Good good! He walked onward unafraid, squinting at her as she prepped more arrows. These... were they different? It was hair, so it was a bit hard to tell at first. He'd spread his left arm out letting armor clad that limb as well. He'd step in and raise his leg to block an arrow. A thud against his armor shoved him back a few steps. Eyes wide in surprise, Ivan would grit his teeth as he warded off two more shots with his arm. An arrow would push through his solid defense and pelt the same shoulder that was hit earlier. Damn, that hurt! It felt like his arm and leg were vibrating from the back to back impacts, even under the armor. Why were these arrows so different? He knew if he took his eyes off Yoichi, he'd be hit. He'd have to investigate it later. For now, he'd shell himself in an awkward stance. A deep lunge with his clad arm and leg at the forefront, arrows pinging off left and right. Slowly but surely they'd gather load, a soft shimmer began to appear around the armament.
"Any more arrows you hiding up your sleeve?" He taunted behind his defense. While letting these things hit him sucked, the more he waited the better off his next special move would be. This was a good spot to be in. As the armor began shimmering and storing power, the arrows felt less and less impactful on him. With his strength building, he felt more confident. Just a bit more.

"Tch!"
Yoichi responded with nothing more than a look, but she was keeping her cool. Trying to, at least. Her keen eyes were seeing his resistance growing, something to do with his armour... his quirk had a lot of hidden power! Still, it wasn't like she didn't either... her hand reached into her pocket quickly, and she withdrew an experimental part of her hero gear. With a swift movement she plucked out a few of her hairs, entwining it around something cylindrical before notching it in a swift motion.
"Don't think you can underestimate me!"
Gritted teeth and focused eyes, Yoichi shot off the arrow. She already had another in hand, but the first landed short of Ivan, sticking in the ground a few feet away. Whatever was entwined in the arrow suddenly exploded! Only small, but thick grey smoke began to pour from the smoke grenade that Yoichi had sent his way.
Using the smoke as a distraction, she moved again, moulding another type of arrow as she did so. Yoichi held it back for now, waiting for Ivan's next move as she used the expanding cloud to hide her presence.

Ivan peeled back a few more steps, and a few more as the foreign projectile closed in. He'd don his cape once more as the smoke screen began to spread. So that was her goal? Obscuring vision was a two way street. She wasn't the only one with equipment. He'd dig into his sash and drop a few smoke pellots to the floor. They'd erupt into a red smoke that would clash against Yoichi's grey smoke. Ivan had plenty more cards to play. This was turning from a battle of athleticism to a battle of wits. Crest remembered many nights where he'd run through hypothetical plays with his father, Valor. The night was a more brutal training day than usual.
"And if you can't see your opponent? What then?" Said the voice of a memory.
~Trust your senses, and create an opportunity. Makes use of every tool you have.~ He thought to himself, slamming his fist into the ground with Valor Knuckle to crumple up and ruin the terrain. It was a far cry of even being close to her, but he wanted to slow her down. Trying to run about on even terrain whilst blind was a tough request. Digging in his sash again, he'd launch some flash pellets into the air. They'd eject the same kind of flashing flare he did earlier. Hopefully this misdirection worked, while he gathered more raw energy to load into his armor.

Yoichi felt the ground twist and tear beneath her. Such monstrous power... despite being blind, she had a close sense of where Ivan was. She didn't think he was moving much, perhaps part of his quirk. If he was storing power... she crouched, the special arrows clamped between her teeth, notching several basic shafts in her bow as she waited. Then... the fog suddenly burst open with light. Yoichi shielded her eyes. More items? Flash grenades weren't a bad idea for her either...
She grimaced, but remained quiet, still and ready to launch a counter attack. For now, he was blind too, and even with his wide attacks, Yoichi didn't think he could hit her without her making a move first!

"Adjustments complete." He'd formulated a game plan, a winning formula to tip the scales here. He'd stand with both legs equipped. He was prepping himself to finish this. As quietly as he could, he'd shift through the smoke in an attempt to reach its outer edge. It was a bit loud, as the armor clicked and clattered once his legs were full of loaded energy. Being discrete wasn't something he could do right now. This room had no wind, so these smokescreens of grey and red were both more efficient than he bargained for. He'd reach into his sash, and grab one of his reeling devices. It was honestly to the most expensive item in his tool belt's repertoire. His last school spent quite a bit of resources for something handheld to have such a strong reel, and have two of them at that. The other hand would grab for the other device. With two hands behind his back and hidden behind beneath his cape. Ready?
"Champion thrust" An upward kick strong enough to create another shockwave, streaks of glittering light emanating throughout. The gust would shift much of the smoke right up and toward the ceiling. This gave a clear vision of Crest, who now could lock eyes with the girl. He wouldn't bring his leg down. In fact, it still was glittering quite a bit. He'd angle himself toward her as would slowly store even more energy the longer he stalled. "Hi." This remark was fueled by a confident smile. She had arrows at the ready? Of course she did! He was at his fastest with both legs clad. He could dispense the excess energy in a few ways. The question was, should he show her something new, or rely on a move already shown?
"Fire when ready." He'd sound off, egging her on.
