Sinestro had been acting as a petty tyrant over his Sector, going so far as to oppress his homeworld of Korugar and facilitating controlled criminal activities. With his last words of freedom, Sinestro cursed the Green Lantern Corps and the Guardians, swearing that one day he would return as their rightful savior. He has not been seen since. Supergirl worked with S.W.O.R.D. and the Department of Extranormal Operations [D.E.O.] to try to stop them, but Kara couldn't bring herself to kill her own aunt.
