Karin was sitting quietly at the edge of the room, watching the other students and their passionate responses with interest. These were all kids who had their own reasons for being here, for wanting to become a hero in their own right. They were perspectives that gave some insight into who they were, and perhaps a self-reflection of what they wanted to be. It might have been hard if not impossible for her to understand these kinds of thoughts without coming to U.A. herself. She couldn't help but wonder how much her views would widen as the year went on... and just how much of that would be beneficial. "Well... a hero at least is not just about having permission to fight back... there's plenty of other ways to get that done. Rather, the hero is a public figure, the face of... 'justice', 'bravery', and standing up for those that can't do so themselves." Karin's soft voice would linger on those keywords for an extended moment, as if she were tasting a flavor that was unfamiliar to her. "Their actions need to not only keep everyone safe, but also inspire confidence in the public that they will always be able to."

Kachiyas eyes widened in shock as the winner was announced. This class was full of eligible candidates and she was sure that she couldn't compare to some of her classmates. She was excited, however. The responsibility of representing her class was something she was going to take seriously though old habits die hard, and she was still a meel girl.
She had blushed, at suddenly being the center of attention for a brief moment giving their teacher an acknowledging nod of her head
She paid no attention to the goofy entrance of her late classmate not needing that kind of distraction as the teacher wrote on the board. Everyone had good answers so far and she agreed with them. What could she add? Everyone was emotional and passionate in their own way. She looked over to Yoichi wondering if she should reach out to her... She seemed distraught after giving her answer, she hoped she would be ok
"A hero is the best version of a person, the face that everyone sees and looks up to. A hero is the pinnacle of perfection, and the leaders and protectors of our society. They set the example of what people should be and act, and are what we're all aiming to be
She answered with a bit more power behind her voice than usual. They were all correct, a hero needed to be brave and... That meant she needed to be brave too
