With trouble on the lose, Koneko arrives to snuff out a riot with her fiery powers, when she's met by two vigilantes. After a heated argument and Frank's talk no jutsu, Koneko's emotions flare up in an unexpected way. Blue flames erupt from her quirk in a violent and painful awakening. After the battle, she's eft to fight her conflicting feelings on her own.

After her scuffle and quirk awakening, Koneko finds the words from Frank haunting. They reverberate through what she sees in herself and hero society. Surely, seeking counsel would be the thing to do. She seeks out an old teacher for a word, but things don't go as planned. What does it mean to really be a hero? Is it just a title? Nocturne's own past influences how he sees being a hero, but it ultiimately makes Frank's words sounds even more true. Koneko makes a bold decision!

She'd quit being a hero, and find an invite to Osaka. The New Japan Prefectural Development organization is expecting, and Koneko wasn't expecting her first day to be so... well. Between the glares of Kako and Frank, to meeting Izumi, Koneko gets slapped with a first mission. The goal is to make herself at home, whatever the hell that means. A fellow young agent, Borla is to chaperone this mission and while she didn't pass with flying colors, she passed!

Team Confidence -- Snake Eyes and Vox Pupoli
Team Confidence Leader KK permits for the entire team to target hero society as they see fit, and Hiretsu knows exactly who he wants to target. It was not just a good idea to pick someone from the top 10, but the man had a very personal bone to pick with Nocturne, the Dusk Hero. After baiting the hero out, Hiretsu presents Noc with the decision to ditch this battle or save a hostage(Little did Nocturne know this whole conversation was recorded.) Assuming the villain to be bluffing, Nocturne charges in to make a finishing blow, but Hiretsu bails out with the precious evidence.

Hiretsu idea was a smashing success, and with Vox Pupoli's masterful presentation, the whole country would bear witness to the heinous mistake their beloved number 10 hero would make. The devastation would be felt by not only fans but UA. Students, interns, and even Nocturne himself would scramble to make sense of things.

Aeronaut
The killer of her grandfather... -Shinja caught word from Nocturne that the villains responsible are still around. Against his direct orders, she gathers her usual gang and the trio head out to her hometown of Tateyama. Of course, things never go smoothly! Seems like Team Confidence has a bug somewhere in the school, because they quickly made a chess move under both Shinja's and Nocturne's nose. Team Confidence's November put a hit out on Shinja, the same way his leader KK put a hit out on the Aeronaut of old... Since this is an off-the-books mission, Kako and Tanzo call for NJPD reinforcements. The crew takes a moment to organize and sortie but a bombing ruins the opportunity. All hell begins to break loose as everyone begins to scatter.

Shinja takes on Baron's planes and even Team Air Raid's top flyer Red Baroness until The Baron invites Shinja to their lair. As a proper rival, he wanted to get a good look at the granddaughter of the great Silver age hero Aeronaut. The villain thinks he has everything in the palm of his hand, but there are too many turns to count

Tanzo is split from the group while Kako tries to hone in on his location from afar. He's being targeted by two quirked gunners through the woods, unknowingly being coaxed toward their lair and Air Raid reinforcements. With great wit, he and Kako reunite to make a short-handed plan. Get in, find Shinja, and get the hell out. With all that's going on, Tanzo puts his foot down! He finally alerts Nocturne and the Dusk Agency of what is going on before going all in in his efforts to defeat these villains. With things heating up, Tanzo shows off his own plus ultra awakening!!! The heroes end up winning both the battle and the war, but Nocturne's arrival also means bringing in some harsh reality as this plots comes to a close.

Strive --- Lost but Not Found
Strive makes a deal with the devil and takes the time to hear a certain villlain out. Slicker that most, he leaves a note for his lackies that business ought to go as usual until a signal is made. Strive is given an omen from the information broker that the answer were around him the whole time. He also warns Strive, that someone will come. A "red flag" will appear. Supposedly death will follow. Who could that be?

Kako
Shinja and Tanzo show their support for Kako by them all participating in a General Studies internship rather than a Hero internship during the summer. It's with a recently booming organization known as New Japan Prefectural Development. The company had apparently been bubbling in Osaka for quite some time(10 yrs), before getting its big success, even pushing its efforts in the neighboring city of Kyoto. As the crew learn more and experience more, Kako falls in love with the organization. Tanzo finds an ally in a resident, former hero Flora after a long discussion, while Shinja finds this organization a little too good to be true. Kako finds herself battling her wants vs her parents wants. Her second year as a hero student is right around the corner.

After some time, Kako accepts her identity as a member of the NJPD, and without UA permission and licensure participates in heroics. It's her very first mission, so she's partnered with a "vice" named Frank - a more veteran vigilante. Izumi orders the two to investigate a ridiculously rowdy car meet before things get ugly and it turns into a riot. From the distance, Izumi watched over her underlings. She finds this riot far too easy to deal with and decides to throw the two a curveball. By calling the local law enforcement, the hero HellFire Kitty is deployed to handle things! Due to the level of difficulty, Frank takes the lead, aiming to talk sense into the hero from a vigilante's lens. It also gave Kako a first hand glance at how vicious battles can be as HellFire Kitty unknowingly awakened her quirk toward the end of the battle. Before things got too dire, Izumi intercepted by creating a large shroud for the vigilantes to escape.

After some review, Izumi finds herself in Musutafu to nudge Kako further along her path. The girl was extraordinarily accepting and kind, which were extremely valuable traits, but she had no bite. Her lack of interest in being a hero, doubled in her lack of experience on the battlefield. She'd take the girl on a few low-level fights to get her feet wet since facing Hellfire Kitty was too much. On this particular day, it dons on Izumi that Kako's never even fathomed having to kill someone... What better way to give her some exposure than to prop a villain up for an easy takedown? This is Musutafu after-all... -Gigabite territory. Before Kako can send out a killing lightning bolt, the number 8 hero swoops in and inadvertently drives Izumi's point home. There were consequences of being strong, heroes like Gigabite had to conduct themselves with a great deal of mercy or death was a very real factor of battle. While it was an accident on Gigabite's part, Kako found herself inspired by Gigabites incredible strength. Though all of this was a bit too much in one sitting. Izumi would knock her out so the grown-ups would have their own conversation.

CAMEO- Izumi needed to drive the point home. Cut all ties, specifically, she was helping Kako along with the steps of emancipating herself and resigning from UA. More importantly, after seeing Gigabite a few days ago, both Kako and Izumi had their own reasons for still being in Musutafu. Speaking to Gigabite was on the list of things to do for the both of them. While Gigabite wasn't her teacher, he was an important person for her. He deserved a proper explanation and a proper goodbye! In a race toward UA, she needed to confront the final tie to her inner turmoil... Kagayaku

Kako would call her grandfather out to a talk, or rather a duel! In a heated exchange, they both spat out their reasonings as both of their quirks developed in heightened emotion. In a violent clash, both their quirks awakened, but Kako would find herself in the wrong, Kagayaku blaming himself just as much. The battle would conclude in a decisive loss for Kako, but she'd gain hope. Hope that she could salvage this relationship. Dr. Brine makes his first appearance as a new hire to heal both combatants.

With Shinja going on a covert mission she enlists the help of her dearest friends. Kako would help without a second thought. She hadn't fully healed from her fight with Kagayaku, but if she could help Shinja, she would. Upon getting a better understanding of the situation, both Tanzo and Kako call on their vigilantes contacts. Sadly things would get out of hand with a bombing, before the hero crew could properly organize an assault. In a scattered flurry, Kako trailed behind her two senpai and was able to lend support to Tanzo first, before pushing herself passed her limits to find Shinja. When all her damage and exhaustion caught up with her, she'd find herself passing out. Luckily, her allies would come scoop her up before the heroes questioned her. That's right... -she wasn't a hero anymore, or even a UA student for that matter. She'd told Tanzo, but not Shinja yet...

After an onslaught of activity within the past two weeks, Kako invites her grandfather for a peaceful reuniting. She seeks to show him her new world. As beat up as she is, the two share vulnerable talks and even a few laughs. Despite Kagayaku accepting her decisions, Kako worries how the rest of her friends will treat her now that she's no longer a hero or fellow classmate.

Miyuki and Umi were minding their own business when some intolerant jerks appear. Miyuki overreacts, but to everyone's surprise the ordeal was caught on camera by November and his invisible friend Prism. Confronting the young heroes, November aggressively antagonizes the two, and Prism stabs Miyuki for getting a bit too snippy.

With his first hero mission being a success, Benkei is met with a proposal to join. He claims a new hero name!

Team Confidence --- Throw a Knife and Hide your Hand
-Snake Eye and Vox do some serious damage to hero society. In an era where we know peace, everything isn't peaches and cream. KK thinks of this as stage 1. Heroes aren't as untouchable as they think they are.
- November hazes a young Miyuki and Umi while Prism films the whole thing. The smear campaign is doing numbers, but exposing them isn't enough. There needs to be some real danger.

Stage 2, KK contacts Strive of all people with some juicy news. He's much closer to his sister than he thinks. More importantly, KK needs to spend some time in tartarus in order to find out some more intel, and possibly create some allies.

In a best-case scenario of KK's prediction, Katagiri lines up Nocturne, and KK lines up Strive. The Pillar of Justice and Justice's Shadow clash, but it doesn't end as expected... Regardless a hero is dead, another hero is forced to retire and the world will just have to deal with it.

Kachiya --- To be a HERO
A simple trip to the mall turned treacherous when villains attack the location. As the young heroes work to get civilians to safety, help arrives and it arrives in different faces. Not only did Vixen come to help, but a local vigilante group jumped in too!
