The World of Amalgamos
Amalgamos is a big, confusing place that you can easily get lost in. This guide will help players find their footing by providing updates for major storylines happening in the roleplay, including NPCs that are involved, locations to keep in mind, and other player-characters that you can interact with. Each entry will also have a thread index, so you will know whether a thread you are interested in joining is connected to something bigger. Additional posts to this guide will be made whenever there is an update to a given story, such as a new character joining or a new thread being made.
The City: Queen’s Ransom
Ever since Sigma’s failed robot uprising, organics and machines have been at each other’s throats. Centuries later, these tensions are coming to a head again, as the powers that be behind both man and machine scheme over old prizes that have finally resurfaced. Amid the politics of the City above and the politics of the City below, these schemes threaten to plunge everything into chaos.
The City: Take Control
While the City become embroiled in conflict over the matter of robots, stranger, darker things run afoul behind the scenes. There are few who are aware of these goings-on, and fewer still who can do something about it. For those who want to save the City from this unknowable menace, there is only one thing to do. TAKE CONTROL.
The Warzone: Secret Robot Wars
The legacy of Sigma has stretched far and wide, the ramifications of which are still felt today. In the Warzone, mechanized warfare has become the bread and butter of combat, with all sides struggling to keep ahead of the curve. Senator Armstrong in particular intends to level the playing field with his biggest swing yet… it may prove to be his last.
The Frontier: As Above, So Below
Lara Croft’s obsession with her parents’ deaths have brought her to the ends of the Frontier. While she hopes to find closure for herself on this quest, her instincts as a treasure hunter are just as inevitable. An ancient civilization is bound to become involved sooner or later, as are grave stakes for the entire Frontier.
The Wasteland: Cults of Personality
The Wasteland is dictated by grim cycles, repeating traditions of old evils that refuse to leave this world. This pattern has begun to turn with new mad prophets to follow, and perhaps even overthrow what has come before. Among these many evils, hopeful crusaders hope to stake a claim for hope in the Wasteland… they can dream, at least.
The Realm: Ivory Flower
Over the past two generations, Demacia has become a great empire unto itself, and is growing more powerful still. One Edelgard von Hresvelg, heir to the Adrestian throne, has become a favorite of the Iron Chancellor. Her adventures - and those tied to her - are no doubt linked to his plans for the Realm.
The Realm: Hearts of Iron
The Lordaeron Alliance is a hotbed of squabbling on Tamriel, and most often where war breaks out on the continent. Numerous outside parties - not the least of which is the bloodthirsty Blackstone Legion - have taken an interest in seeing war blossom there once more. The difference now is that this war will not stop in Lordaeron, or Tamriel, or even Thedas. The Blackstone Legion will settle for nothing less than total war in the Realm.
The Realm: War of the Magi
The Tevinter Imperium is a realm dictated by magic and oppression. Though the united forces of Tamriel defeated Tevinter in the past, the magisters are merely biding their time for their next bid for control. The many developments surrounding Tevinter and its allies are encapsulated here, broiling independent of Tamriel’s affairs.
The Realm: Fereldan Emblem
With backing from the Tevinter Imperium and other wicked associates, Loghan Mac Tir succeeded in not only seizing power after King Cailan's untimely death, but also in driving back the Darkspawn Blight. Ferelden's Grey Wardens are scattered, and Loghain has cemented his rule over Ferelden with an iron grip. Many within continue to struggle against his bitter tyranny, as do Ferelden's neighbors, wary of a Thedas completely dominated by the Imperium's will. If Thedas is to prosper, Ferelden must have a new leader.
The Realm: Within the Light
The Kingdom of Light is mired in doubt and turmoil. As the old King Regis nears the end of his reign, his heirs are ill-prepared for the trials to come, and his enemies gleefully await their opportunity. Only through the guidance of the Light may Hyrule’s people find a path through the dark times lying ahead.
The Nebula: Into the Void
The Nebula is host to countless interstellar menaces, many of which pose a grave threat to the people of Amalgamos. While the bureaucracy of the Guardians often gets in the way of their imperative, a team of outsiders has decided to take their own initiative with one such threat. These self-righteous defenders will not rest until the Grineer submit.

Threads:
- The Crown {Transistor} - The part of the City where the elite congregate. The Crown is the highest point in the City, contrasted against the low abyss of the Scar. This district features the seat of government for the City as a whole, as well as headquarters for many of the City’s corporate bodies. Under Mayor van der Meer’s administration, the esteemed Grant Kendrell sees that the needs of the privileged are met before all else.
- Downtown {Infamous} - The estranged district known loosely as “Downtown” represents the middle-class of the City… or, it’s supposed to. To speak frankly, the only thing separating Downtown from the Scar is that the former was outside the radius of the Omega impact. Many cling to the fact that City Security’s presence in Downtown is the thin blue line protecting them from the likes of Omega and Wheatleytown, though most people know that they’re just as responsible for the state of the City as those groups are. This is where most City people go when they slip through the cracks; what happens next is up to Lady Luck’s fickle whims.
- C-Sec Headquarters {Mass Effect} - While City Security has countless department buildings stationed throughout the City, their headquarters lies in the heart of Downtown. Edgar Ross casts a long shadow with his fierce enforcement of the law, presenting a similar disposition between the police and the people they take an oath to protect. Such oaths are hardly as black and white as they appear.
- Seattle {Infamous} - Seattle is a city in and of itself, wedged in the heart of the City. It represents the middle-class of the City… or, it’s supposed to. To speak frankly, the only thing separating Downtown from the Scar is that the former was outside the radius of the Omega impact. Many cling to the fact that City Security’s presence in Seattle is the thin blue line protecting them from the likes of Omega and Wheatleytown, though most people know that they’re just as responsible for the state of the City as those groups are.
- The Scar {Mega Man X} - Futuro was the synthetic jewel in the crown of Haven, a utopia of robotics and organics living in harmony. When the Omega space station crashed, very little was left standing. Even after Aria seized control, this one-third of the City is a ruin, forever removed from what it once was. It is the home of the destitute of the City, the desperate and the deranged. And most of all, the Scar is home to the robots that the City left behind.
- Omega {Mass Effect} - Once, Omega was a cosmic metropolis, a space station that confounded the powers that be for as long as anyone can remember. Sigma was the first thing to challenge its independence and succeed. That success brought the space station in a ruined heap, the center point of what is now known as the Scar. In spite of that horrific crash, Omega was not destroyed. What survived became the foundation of Aria’s criminal syndicate, Omega. Aria is nothing if not consistent.
- Wheatleytown {Portal} - The parts of the Scar that were left to the synthetics has since been taken over by Wheatley, who turned it into Wheatleytown, a dismal shantytown of murderous androids and machines. Many within Wheatleytown work to make the place better for everyone… when Wheatley’s followers aren’t hunting them, that is.
- EDI {Mass Effect} - Wheatley is aided in his reign by two sister AI, one of which is a fair-minded, if cold intelligence with a knack for order and strategy. The Enhanced Defense Intelligence has managed much of the mild success in maintaining Wheatleytown thus far, lest its eponymous overlord spell doom for everyone… EDI included.
- Queen {Deltarune} - The hyperactive, egomaniacal twin of the two robot administrators serving under Wheatley. Her vendetta against humanity is, sadly, exactly what most of Wheatleytown is pining for.
- Royce Bracket {Transistor} - The “man behind the curtain” for the Process, a social order devoted to
their vision forthe City’s prosperity. As a man intimately familiar with the City’s history, Royce is keen on ensuring that old secrets stay where they belong: with him. - Tilda van der Meer {Horizon} - The mayor of the City is a ruthless, charismatic ice queen, who by all rights should have died a long time ago. Though Tilda witnessed Sigma’s rebellion firsthand, she remains the most powerful person in the City, plotting who knows what.
- Wheatley {Portal} - The bumbling AI core who somehow lucked his way into earning the adoration of Futuro after Sigma’s failed revolution. Wheatley is as moronic and conniving as ever, doing anything he can to keep his futile grip on power.
- Aether Calrose {Resident Evil} - Known to many on the force as "A", he is a veteran detective who has brought his grim experience to City Security. Now on the homicide beat, Aether is keen to deliver on the promises that the force is supposed to live up to.
- Clarence {League of Legends} - A curmudgeonly hexbot hailing from the time before Sigma. Now, he works as a paper pusher for the Process. He has harbored a bitter grudge against humanity since.
- Garrus Vakarian {Mass Effect} - A self-righteous police officer trying to reform C-Sec through hard-nosed bravado. His lofty ideals are starting to make many powerful enemies.
- Goya Masanori {Yakuza} - A hard knocks Yakuza loyal to the Mishima branch of the Omega Syndicate. More than anything, Masanori wants a City that works for the people, and not the other way around.
- Kristine Davis {Pokemon} - An amateur chemist, veteran Delinquent, and aspiring cook. Kristine is a rising star in the City's underbelly, looking out for the only thing that matters here: herself.
- Red {Transistor} - A starlet born of the physical and artificial worlds. Blessed with a superhuman voice, Red is a rising spark for the society she longs to protect.
- Tarah & Thayne {SteamWorld} - A pair of cantankerous steambot twins who wander for fortune and mischief. It is inevitable Tarah & Thayne will get into more and more trouble as synthetic tensions in the City get worse.
- Vile {Mega Man} - Vile is a Reploid that is quite satisfied with the tumultuous relationship between Wheatleytown and the City above. Brought out of stasis by his desperate superiors, Vile is eager to revel in all-out war against organic life.
Threads:
- Token Advice - After getting grilled by the Chief of Homicide for "botching" an interrogation, Garrus goes off to sulk with one of his coworkers. He can't go back to Security... not yet.
- Bogged Up - Two steambot twins ponder their precarious position after a job gone wrong places them on the bad side of multiple parties... not the least of which is Marcus Kincaid.
- Do Reploids Dream of Mareep? - For many months now, A has been pursuing cold cases that has has been conveniently absent from C-Sec's attention. Now that he is closing in, the truth of these matters are all but guaranteed to take a deadly turn.
- To Galvanize Man - It did not take long after Vile's reactivation for him to make his own fun. When a Wheatleytown enforcer chooses to roam the City above, such a course of action can only end poorly.
The City: Take Control
While the City become embroiled in conflict over the matter of robots, stranger, darker things run afoul behind the scenes. - The Institute {Fallout} - The Commonwealth is anything but common. A cordoned-off district of the City, reserved exclusively for the intellectual elite. It rests on a massive high rise, upon which the Institute was built long ago. You must be an Institute associate (or worse, an Institute research subject) to live within the Commonwealth, though many foolishly believe that this price is worth paying.
- Black Mesa {Half-Life} - The heart of the Institute, understandably, is buried deep within the mesa upon which the Commonwealth itself was built. Little is publicly known of it, and not that much more is known by those that work there. The research facility has layers upon layers of confidentiality and abstract mysteries, though one thing remains certain: Black Mesa is the apex of scientific research & development on Amalgamos.

- Jesse Faden {Control} - The enigmatic director of the Bureau of Control, a paranormal division of the Institute. Jesse is familiar with the strange, and capable of much stranger in her pursuit of everything going wrong behind the scenes.

Primary Locations:
- Jackistan {Borderlands} - The whole of Hyperion’s assets, from the cornerstone coffee shops still standing to that giant H in the sky are collectively referred to as Jackistan. No one that has dared to question Jack’s taste in names has lived to regret it, and the man intends to keep it that way.
- The Krimzon Bloc {Jak & Daxter} - The territories of the Krimzon Bloc are largely industrial wastelands and derelict cities, left to the devices of the synthetics that have come to occupy them. Together, the Bloc’s occupation represents a united front by the remaining robots to seize Sigma’s leftovers for themselves.
- Phoenix Point {Phoenix Point} - Phoenix Point is one of the only places in the Warzone that could be considered a safe haven. Overwatch conducts its many operations from this part-military fortress, part-sanctuary city for anyone hoping to find an escape from the violence inherent to this part of Amalgamos. Provided you aren’t trying to blow up Overwatch, most are welcome for a time.
- Doctor Light {Mega Man} - The founding father of robotics as we know them today has taken up a quieter life as an advisor with Overwatch. Though he is now an ancient man, Thomas Light wants to do what he can to (one day) make the Warzone a place where organics and synthetics can live together in harmony.
- Errol {Jak & Daxter} - Errol is the last surviving member of the old Haven City regime, transformed into a grotesque cyborg in order to survive. Errol built the Bloc as a personal vendetta against the new City, and will stop at nothing to use the Warzone to make that dream a reality.
- Martin Marten {Super Animal Royale} - A happy-go-lucky Super Marten who is uncomfortably familiar with the finer points of tactical combat for such an adorably fuzzy creature. Though his destination is far from the Warzone itself, Martin is bound to get involved in all kinds of mayhem along the way.
- Samus Aran {Metroid} - The legendary bounty hunter responsible for stopping would-be conquerors from destroying Amalgamos at least twice now. Samus’ latest mission takes her abroad, where she is investigating rumors of latent bioweapons development.
- Sasha Grevek {Killzone} - A new generation Helghast agent, born too late for the glory days of her people. Nowadays Sasha is a wandering menace, seeking a purpose to a life that she never got to live.
- Senator Armstrong {Metal Gear Rising} - If Doctor Eggman has a rival to his rising stardom within Hyperion, it’s the bombastic iron-hearted politician of the Pitt. Steven Armstrong is a rare Warzone ideologue, who is preparing to take his dream of a bigger, braver Warzone to the ultimate extreme.
- Swade Wong {Prismata} - A beleaguered tactician from space who was reassigned to Overwatch as a result of a bureaucratic horror story. Swade is eager to cut his teeth on the battlefield, anything to satisfy his itch for the thrill of war games.. Soon enough, he’s going to have it.
- Tails [Sonic the Hedgehog} - An adventurous engineer who has taken up the Overwatch cause in the spirit of his old friend. Tails is no stranger to Eggman’s schemes, and he’s eager to stop him and everyone else in Hyperion from hurting the people of the Warzone.
- Zero {Mega Man X} - Zero is a former Hyperion experiment, intended to act as a successor to Sigma’s destructive legacy. Though the Reploid has since found his independence with Overwatch, there remain many unanswered questions, none of which are going to come easy.
- A Whole New Not-So-Super World - Martin’s journey from his home immediately goes awry. The survivors of Martin’s party cross paths with none other than Samus, who was treading the frigid wilderness for entirely different reasons.

- Lara Croft {Tomb Raider} - Lara Croft is a long way from her City roots, preferring the wild exploits of the Frontier to the doldrums of City life. Lara is determined to get to the truth of her parents’ deaths, no matter what it takes.
- Rituals Old - Lara’s latest inquiry into the Frontier brings her to a submerged temple, which is home to mysteries much greater than her personal quest. More to the point, she isn’t the only one there.
Primary Locations:
Threads:
- The Forbidden Lands {Shadow of the Colossus} - All of the Wasteland’s realms are forsaken, no longer holding prominence as they did before the Calamity. These lands in particular are home to the old ways, and the primordial entities that continue to uphold them.
- Bishops of the Old Faith {Cult of the Lamb} - The Old Faith is older than the Calamity itself, though it was unmistakably influenced by those events. That dark order is prevailed by its many Bishops, estranged hierarchs that cling to their power in the vain belief that they have eluded prophecy.
- The Tempest {Vault of the Void} - A holy warrior who is said to channel lightning as one breathes oxygen. The nameless Tempest is a zealous agent of the Horadrim, following the call of the heavens with unshakeable conviction to destroy evil, regardless of what shape it takes.
- That Man {Guilty Gear} - No one can remember the last time the founder of the Library was seen. His absence has resulted in many rifts in the organization, none of which are interested in maintaining the impartial code that it had been founded upon. And yet, they can feel him watching over them still.
- Zemouregal {Runescape} - A necromancer rising within the ranks of Dracula’s court as a candidate for the new Lord of Hollows. Zemouregal is a primordial schemer, as powerful as he is arrogant in his prospects as a sovereign of the dead in the Wasteland, much to Hades’ consternation.
- Lambert {Cult of the Lamb} - When the Old Faith realized that their end would come at the hands of an anointed lamb, they purged every such animal from the Wasteland. Lambert was one such lamb, who was resurrected by the One Below to carry out one final revelation: doom.
- Micolash, Host of the Nightmare {Bloodborne} - Micolash is one of the rare minds that has encountered eldritch horror and retained a modicum of his sanity. The nightmarish scholar has thrown his lot in with the enigmatic Library, eager to delve into other secrets of the Wasteland that were meant to stay buried.
- Paladin Danse - An estranged guardian who has taken up scavenged arms to protect the innocent, no matter the cost. Though Danse's past is murky, his commitment to making the Wasteland a better place is not.
- Sir Frederick Edelstein - An errant hunter for the Horadrim who slays the forces of darkness. His pursuits have drawn him into bondage with an eldritch horror, tying him to wicked power... provided that he agrees to perform the dark deals that are their price.
- Zagreus - The so-called Prince of the Underworld, born to incorrigible Hades and sterling Persephone. The stirrings of the Wasteland have drawn Zagreus' wandering soul, if for nothing else than to experience the world beyond his father's macabre realm.
Threads:
- Fleeting Hope - In the past, a wandering Paladin arrives at a nameless ruin to protect those who may yet be hiding there. Some have other ideas.
- A Haunt in the Dark - Sir Frederick's pursuit of undead infestations bring him and his wayward shade to a dread mountain. Crossing paths with the estranged Prince of the Underworld is the least of their worries.
- Devotion - Lambert’s quest of vengeance against his former masters begins in the Darkwoods, where he hopes to find Leshy, one of the Bishops of the Old Faith.
Primary Locations:
- Demacia {League of Legends} - Demacia began as a fledgling city-state, founded by those who sought shelter from magic. Today, it is a steadily growing industrial nation, and to many, the vanguard of Tamrielic sovereignty. What began as plains and forests has expanded into icy mountains, lowly marshes, and much more.
- Thors Military Academy {Legend of Heroes} - A small officer’s academy settled in an otherwise unassuming town. It is largely out of the way, and yet Thors has become a poster institution of the new Demacia, where nobles and peasants alike can learn side by side as Demacia’s future. Needless to say, Thors is favored personally by the Chancellor, and even features many members of the Demacian Royal Family among its students.
- Edelgard von Hresvelg {Fire Emblem} - Edelgard is something of a wunderkind, a Tamriel royal blessed in the way that the kings of eld once were. It is for this reason, among many others, that she has been groomed for special training at Thors.
- Giliath Osborne {Legend of Heroes} - The Iron Chancellor of Demacia rose into prominence during the White War with Tevinter as a negotiator, and now presides as a fierce administrator. Gilliath has only become more ambitious, so much so that at times his leadership does not appear far removed from the tyrants he used to fight against.
- Bravva Ronso {Dark Souls} - A forlorn Lion Warrior who has sworn vengeance against Walhart for destroying his home. Bravva’s journey has brought him into Edelgard’s company, where he believes he has the greatest chance of rallying a party to bring down the Demon of the West once and for all.
- Jal-Ei {The Elder Scrolls} - A happy-go-lucky immigrant from Blackmarsh, now a proud citizen of Demacia. “July” is a boy eager to prove himself to the society in which he was raised, a passion that has taken him as far as the esteemed Thors Military Academy.
- Nudge {Legend of Zelda} - A bright-eyed girl from Hyrule who has made her way to Thors seeking her own fortune. For reasons she hasn't paused to consider, she has been welcomed into the exclusive school with open arms.
- Clear Skies - July joins his peers for the first day of a new year at Thors. They are quickly thrown into a spontaneous training exercise, one which will test his class’ ability to work as a team.
Primary Locations:
None… yet!
- The Lordaeron Alliance {Warcraft} - The likes of the Dragon Empire, Hyrule, Demacia, and even Noxus are considered to be the central players in Tamriel’s future. As a result of these prominent kingdoms often taking the stage, many disparate nations have taken issue with that state of affairs. These nations - human nations, namely - have banded together in a coalition of lesser states to secure their interests among these larger politics.
- Temeria {The Witcher} - Temeria is something of a crossroads kingdom, linking the Lordaeron Alliance to many neighboring countries, including Demacia and the Dragon Empire. As such, Temeria is frequently contested by many parties, none of whom are friendly to the local non-human populace simply trying to get by.
- Novigrad {The Witcher} - Novigrad is the port jewel of Temeria, a cosmopolitan port city where one can find just about anything, provided you know where to look and who to ask. It is the bedrock of Temerian intrigue, where its divisive social tensions between fellow men, arcane institutions, and the estranged locals are at their highest.
- Apollyon {For Honor} - Apollyon is the closest thing to an ideological leader within the Blackstone Legion. She is a rampant warmonger, obsessed with sowing the seeds of strife between fellow men.
- King Foltest {The Witcher} - The king of Temeria is a stern man, notorious for never showing any emotion, even to his dear children. Foltest’s intolerant demeanor has held Temeria together and kept its enemies at a distance. He cares little for the cracks forming within his society, caring only that the malcontent obey his authority as king.
- Katavasha {Absolver} - One of Apollyon’s most principled disciples of war, trained in the esoteric combat arts of Folding. Katavasha has been sent as a wild wolf deep within Temeria, subtly breaking down the unspoken rules that keep its people from indulging their wanton violence.

Primary Locations:
- Boletaria {Demon’s Souls} - The history of the Kingdom of Souls is as unclear as the mythic fog which has enveloped much of its territory for as long as anyone dares remember. Boletaria rarely entreats with the rest of Thedas, let alone the greater Realm, though it maintains a stern adherence to the mastery of the arcane through stark means. It is for this reason (among others) that Boletaria holds a close alliance with the Tevinter Imperium, if not for political machinations, then for like interests. The lands of Boletaria themselves are varied, though often mired reflections, ranging from deep earthen pits to bitter mountain ranges and withdrawn estates.
- The Tevinter Imperium {Dragon Age] - There is no question in anyone’s mind that the Tevinter Imperium is the dominant power in Thedas. The reach of its borders is vast, and its influence reaches further still to most corners of the continent. Forests, valleys, mountain settlements, and other diverse climates compose Tevinter’s geography, all of which is carefully cultivated by the magisters to suit their magical pursuits.
- Noxus {League of Legends} - The Noxian lands are harsh as they are varied. Dreary badlands and brutal mountain societies are where Noxus began, though these lands grow as more nations are brought into the Noxian fold. Jericho Swain’s empire is on the rise, greater than ever before.
- King Allant {Demon’s Souls} - The pale ruler of the Kingdom of Souls, sworn to secrecy and solitude. He is the rightful bearer of the Soulbrand, an arcane blade blessed with wretched power; he wields it not for Boletaria, but for everyone who would dare to claim it for themselves.
- Thales {Fire Emblem} - The grand archon of the Tevinter Imperium, and the presumed ruler of Thedas. Like all Tevinter magisters, Thales is a reclusive, sinister schemer, plotting patiently for his inevitable revenge against Demacia and the rest of Tamriel.
- Gaius van Baelsar {Final Fantasy} - The Black Wolf of the XIVth Legion is Noxus’ finest general, and one of its most respected. Gaius’ vendetta against false idols is well-known, as is his devotion to Noxus’ values of power and pride. It comes as no surprise, then, that he is the tip of the spear in Noxus’ invasion of Boletaria.
- Jericho Swain {League of Legends} - The Grand General of Noxus, and the Carrion Demon of the Blackstone Legion is without a doubt one of the most feared tyrants in the Realm. Swain has become obsessed with Boletaria's secrets, and will stop at nothing to claim them for himself.
- Julith Jurgen {Wakfu} - The Witch Demon of the Blackstone Legion is one of the most capable sorceresses in Thedas, and one of the most ambitious at that. The queen of Brakmar is sure to have schemes of her own regarding Tevinter and its many tangled threads.
- Yennefer of Latria {The Witcher} - A cold court sorceress raised from the prestigiously grim academy of Latria. Yennefer is a woman bound by circumstance, striving to escape it for a destiny of her own choosing; such a life is one of constant vigilance and subtlety under a Tevinter collar.
- Game Face - Yennefer receives a timely visit from her mordant handler - the Imperium once more has need of War's gracious services.
- Brákmar - In preparation for his Grand General's designs for Thedas, the Black Wolf Gaius van Baelsar travels to Brákmar to engage in talks with the surly Witch Demon.
Primary Locations:
None... yet!
- Ferelden {Dragon Age} - The southernmost kingdom of Thedas is also one of its most prominent. The roots of the Chantry and the Grey Wardens themselves reach back to this place, as does a strong spiritual bond with the land. Under Loghain, this is no longer the case. The Kingdom of the Hawk is rife with corruption, slowly bleeding itself dry at the behest of Loghain's arcane benefactors. It is only a matter of time before the kingdom completely loses itself to ambition, or turns the page for a new generation to lead Ferelden out of the dark.
- Stormwind {Warcraft} - Stormwind is one of the oldest human kingdoms in the Realm, with the bloodline to match it. They are one of the only kingdoms in THedas that still pledges itself to the Light, distinct from the perversion of the Chantry faith that Tevinter preaches within its dominion. While Stormwind remains a sovereign kingdom, their forests and hills have dwindled against Tevinter and its allies surrounding them... not the least of which is Ferelden.
- Ancano {The Elder Scrolls} - The Tevinter ambassador to Ferelden is a cruel, calculating sorcerer. Ancano cares not a whit for non-mage life, and looks down on Ferelden as a whole as an unruly child in need of discipline. He is keen to inflict Tevinter's oppression upon Ferelden's people, which Loghain has deemed a necessary price for his continued rule. It is common - albeit treasonous - to believe that Ancano, and not Loghain, is the true ruler of Ferelden.
- Genn Greymane {Warcraft} - Genn Greymane plays many roles within the kingdom of Stormwind. He is foremost leader of the Worgen, humans cursed to become feral monsters, of whom only so many have been able to retain their humanity. He is also advisor to King Varian Wrynn on many matters of state and strategy. Perhaps his most notable role, however, is serving as the guardian of Anduin Wrynn, the prince-to-be of Stormwind. The boy will certainly need all the help he can get for what is to come.
- Tellwinna Quirkriddle {Warcraft} - A gnome warlock who is rather notorious, for her remarkable familiarity with the dark arts and for the role that she played in helping slay Sicco Thermaplugg in the lost ruins of Gnomeregan. Nowadays she has aligned herself with the royal family of Stormwind, who has deemed her resources fit to overlook her power over dubious arcana.

Primary Locations:
- Hyrule {Legend of Zelda} - The kingdom of Hyrule is one of the Realm’s oldest, and for good reason: its royal line has remained untarnished for centuries, possibly millennia. Hyrule has ever acted as a vanguard against evil, a beacon of hope of peace across Tamriel and beyond its shores. Hyrule is vast, vaster than many Tamrielic nations, to the point that it encompasses smaller kingdoms within itself, all of whom are pledged to the cause of the Light.
- King Regis Lucis Caelum {Final Fantasy} - The old king of Hyrule has prevailed over his realm for centuries, though not much longer. Regis must now rely on his aides and guardians to account for his children, while he musters what strength he has left to the continued protection of the Sacred Realm lying beyond.
- Blaidd Half-Wolf {Elden Ring} - A cursed warrior, created by a higher power to defend the Kingdom of Light from transgressors. Blaidd is destined to become a royal’s shadow and protect them to his dying breath… just which royal has been left to fate to decide.
- Elyssa Oakbranch {Legend of Zelda} - An enterprising bard without a care in the world. With only a faithful donkey by her side, Elyssa’s travels always seem to thrust her into matters beyond her reckoning.
- Princess Zelda {Legend of Zelda} - The Princess of Hyrule and bearer of the Triforce of Wisdom. Zelda is the fulcrum upon which the fate of Hyrule will be decided, and much more. Until that time comes, she is more concerned with the pressing matter of her independence.
- Searching Ever Further - Blaidd begins his search for his fateful companion, but instead finds the company of a spirited traveler.
- Harvest Moon - The Princess of Light and her not so bumbling attendant near the White Vigil. One night they take a brief excursion elsewhere in the hopes of soothing the princess' fraying nerves.
Primary Locations:
Threads:
- The Galactic Hub {No Man’s Sky} - The orbital station overlooking the planet Amalgamos. This is the Guardians’ headquarters, and the point from which all parties visiting or leaving Amalgamos must travel through. It is also the only line of defense against space invaders.
- Grineer Space {Warframe} - All territory in the Nebula considered to be under the jurisdiction of the Grineer Empire. These systems are largely industrial in nature, made barren from the Grineer’s savage experiments with flesh and machine. Given the Grineer’s belligerence towards all other life in the Nebula, little else is known of their empire.
- Gate {Mega Man X} - A remarkably stoic Reploid scientist who has thrown his lot in with Stukov’s operation. Though he lacks bravado or passion, Gate is resolute in his support of this rare excursion into enemy territory.
- Alexei Stukov {Starcraft} - A decorated
viceadmiral from the distant Sol System who has since joined the ranks of the Guardians as the firsthumanTerran Spectre. Alexei Stukov is the self-proclaimed man of the hour in what he perceives as an inevitable war of attrition with the rest of the Nebula that Amalgamos will lose if it doesn’t take decisive action. He has been granted one reprieve by Zavala to prove his ambitions for the better: whether Stukov succeeds or not, the Grineer Empire will be remembered as the man’s white whale. - Samara {Mass Effect} - A revered Asari Justicar, an agent of extreme justice who will pursue her objectives at any cost. Samara is an elder Justicar, more than qualified for the mission lying ahead.
- Soliera {Pokemon} - An enterprising explorer from the deep reaches of Unknown Space. This outsider turned Spectre is a maverick with uncharted territory, to say nothing of her devotion to the safety to the Nebula.
Threads:
- Gateway to Opportunity - Samara meets with Gate, and then Alexei Stukov himself, to discuss the terms of her contract for the latter’s borderline suicide mission.
